Chapter eleven

Aiden ran deep into the woods and sat up in a tree. He cried for a while but stopped when he heard voices. He looked down below him. "Zane you never replied to my offer," a voice said. "I dont know Lazarus. I dont think all demons are bad. I've met one. I dont think he's happy with me hanging around someone though," Zane replied. "Wait hold up. You met a demon a while back and never said anything. You dont think all demons are good do you," Lazarus said. "No i dont think all demons are good. But some of the ones i see are living amongst the human very well. I've seen them for years. The killings just started a few months ago. That why i said i dont think they are all bad," Zane replied. Aiden was surprised by what he just heard. "Zane. Im a demon hunter. I hunt demons and i kill them but you wont help me cause you believe there are such a thing as good demons," Lazarus said while thinking. "That's right. If i see a demon that has killed a human i will tell you," Zane replied. "What bout the demon that hangs around your friend," Lazarus asked. "I don't think he is a threat at the moment. Im not sure. I've only saw him twice," Zane replied. Just then Zane's phone off. Zane pulled out his phone and saw he had a message from Aiden. Aiden had messaged him to come meet him. That he is upset and wanted to talk to him. "Lazarus i got to go," Zane said. "Be careful out there," Lazarus said. "I will see you," Zane said. "See you," Lazarus replied. Zane left from there and headed to meet Aiden.

"Aiden im here," Zane said panting. "Zane did you run here," Aiden asked. "Yes but not all the way here," Zane replied trying to catch his breath. "Why did you run here," Aiden asked. Aiden walked over to Zane and hugged him. Zane hugged him back. "What's wrong. You said you were upset," Zane said. "Haruka and my friend David were fighting again. They said they would stop but all they did was go outside and continue to fight. I don't like it when they fight. Sometimes it turns physical. I told them i was gonna stay somewhere else til they stopped," Aide said a tears running down his cheeks. Aiden hugged Zane tightly. "Where are you gonna stay," Zane asked. "I don't know yet," Aiden replied. "You can stay with me til you find a place," Zane said. Aiden let go of Zane and looked up at him. "Are you sure. What bout your sister and you Aunt and Uncle," Aiden replied. "My Aunt and Uncle work all the time. They most likely wont notice. And Zaire doesn't care what i do," Zane said. "I don't know Zane. I don't want to be a bother," Aiden said looking at the ground. "You wont be bothering anyone. Aiden it's up to you i wont make you do something you don't want to," Zane said with a smile. Aiden smiled back at Zane then hugged him.

Haruka and David found Aiden and Zane. David saw Haruka was getting angry. David grabbed Haruka and pined him to the tree next to them. "Don't do anything to them," David said. "What you gonna do bout it if i did," Haruka said with a smirk. "Haruka if you hurt Aiden or that human i will hurt you. Aiden is my best friend and i don't like seeing humans get hurt," David said. "You just like Aiden. Humans are food and toys to most demons," Haruka said pushing David off him. "I don't even know why Aiden insist on being with a asshole like you. You treat him like a toy and you use him. You are a fucking asshole," David said. "You better watch yourself. I don't care if your Aiden's friend i will fucking kill you," Haruka said. "You know damn sure im not scared of you. I will do anything to keep Aiden safe," David said. "I didn't plan on hurting Aiden dumbass. But i have warned that human to stay away twice," Haruka said. "He's a human what can he possibly do to us," David said. "He isn't normal. There is something bout him," Haruka said looking at Zane. Just then David remembered what Aiden had told him bout Zane. Haruka saw the expression on Davids face when he looked at Zane and Aiden. "You know something don't you," Haruka said pinning David down. "I don't know what the hell your talking bout. But you need to let me go," David said. "You lie. I know you know something. Did Aiden tell bout Zane," Haruka said. David transformed and knocked Haruka off him. "I don't have to tell you shit. Just leave Aiden and the humans alone if i here you hurt either of them i will hurt you ," David said then left.

"Zane," Aiden said. "Yea," Zane replied. "Can i really stay with you til i find a place," Aiden asked looking at the ground. "Of course. I've said this already. Your my friend and if you need help. I will help you. All you got to do is ask," Zane responded. Aiden looked up at Zane and smiled. "Thanks Zane," Aiden said. "Anytime. Now lets head back. My sister has been blowing my phone up im sure," Zane said with a smile. Aiden smiled back then they started walking to Zane's Aunts house. Once they got there they went in. Zane introduced Aiden to his Aunt Uncle and sister. After that he made dinner. Everybody ate then got ready for bed and went to sleep after a bit.
