Chapter Three Zane Knight (14) and Zaire Knight (13) Past

Zane knight was walking down the hallway when he stopped at his sister's door. "Zaire get up and get ready or we are gonna be late for school," Zane yelled through the door. "Go away Zane im getting ready," Zaire yelled back. "Zane Zaire come one your gonna be late," their mom yelled. "Coming mom," Zaire yelled while leaving her room. "Your slow," Zane said to Zaire. "Shut up Zane," Zaire said. They went into the living room. "Good god you two. Come on we are gonna be late," their mom said. "Coming," Zaire said. They followed their mom to the car and got in. They arrived at the school and Zane and Zaire got out. "Bye kids love u both have a good day at school," their mom said. "Byr mom love u too," Zaire said. "Bye," Zane said then closed the door. "Zane," someone yelled while walking towards them. Zane went to him. "Hey Dakota," Zane said. "Why you late man," Dakota asked. "Had to wait on Zaire she is slow," Zane replied. "Oh i see," Dakota said then laughed. Zane grabbed Dakota's arm. "Lets get goin," Zane said as he pulled him away. As they were walking down they hall to class somebody bumped into Zane causing him to drop his book. "Im sorry," the person said picking up Zane's book and handing it to him. "Its alright. I should of been watching where i was walking," Zane replied while taking his book. Zane looked at the persons face and saw that he was crying. The person wiped his eye's then left from there. "Dude that guy was crying," Dakota said. "Yea i hope he's alright," Zane said. "Im sure he is. Now lets get to class," Dakota said as he dragged Zane towards class. Once they reached the classroom Zane stopped. "Something wrong bro," Dakota. "I gotta run to bathroom," Zane replied then headed towards the bathroom. Dakota entered the classroom and told the teacher where Zane went.

Zane entered the bathroom and saw a boy crying in the coner. He realized it was the person who bumped into him. "Hey man are you alright," Zane asked him. The boy looked up at Zane. Zane crouched down infront of the boy. "Im Zane," he said. "Im Aiden," the boy replied as he wiped his tears. "Are you alright," Zane asked. Aiden looked at him then started to cry again. Zane kneeled down on the ground and hugged him. "You dont have to tell me considering we just met," Zane said. Aiden sat there shocked for moment then hugged Zane back and continued to cry. After a few minutes Aiden stoped crying and they separated. "Thanks for that. Sorry bout your jacket," Aiden said lookin at the jacket. "It will live. Are you alright now," Zane replied. "Yes thank you," Aiden replied then stood up. Zane stood up and took his jacket off then throw it over Aidens shoulders. "I gotta head back to class. Keep the jacket if you need to talk come find," Zane said. "Thank you. I'll keep that in mind," Aiden replied. "Anytime," Zane said with a smile then left. Aiden stood there for a moment then left the school.

After school Zane went to look for Zaire. He found her talking to her best friend Faye Barnhart. "Ugh there's my brother," Zaire said. Faye tured to see Zane walkin towards him. Zaire saw someone stop Zane. Faye looked over at Zaire. "Do you know who that is," Faye asked. "No but Zane seems to know them. He is wearing Zanes jacket," Zaire replied. "Zane right," Aiden asked. "Yep and your name is Aiden," Zane replied. "I just wanted to thank you again for helpin me," Aiden said. "Hey no problem. Are you alright you look sad," Zane replied. "Yes im alright," Aiden said. Just then another peraon approached them. "Aiden we need to go," the person said. "Right by Zane," Aiden said then went with the person. "See you," Zane replied then went over to Zaire. "Who was that Zane," Zaire asked. "His name is Aiden. Now lets go moms here," Zane replied as their mom was pulling up. Zaire hugged Faye and told her good bye. After they got in the car they drove home.

Once they arrived home Zane got out of the first and went inside to his room. Zaire helped their mom to get some groceries out of the car then they went in. "How was school sweetie," their mom asked. "It was good. Faye got asked out again then turned them down," Zaire replied laughing. "Im glad u guys had a good day," their mom said. "When's dad comin home," Zaire asked. "Before to long," their mom replied. "Bout time. He's been gone for work to long," Zaire said. They both laughed when just then the door opened. Their father walked in and set his things down. "Your just in time for dinner dad," Zaire said then hugged her father. Their father hugged her back. When they quit hugging he went to the mother and hugged and kissed her. "Where's Zane," the father asked them. "He's in his room dear. Most likely studying again. Why dont you go get him for dinner," the mother replied. The father went upstairs and knocked oh his son's room. Zane opened the door and saw his father standing there. "Dinners ready come down and eat," father said. "Will do. Welcome home dad," Zane replied. He followed his father to the dinning room. After they finished dinner and talked bout the past few months everyone went to bed.
