Chapter 19

"Aiden wake up," a female voice said. Aiden woke up and looked at the person who called his name. "Zaire what you need," Aiden asked sitting up. "Do you know where Zane went after his walk," Zaire asked. "No he said he was coming straight back afterwards," Aiden said. "He has been gone for hours. And Aunt and Uncle are starting to worry. And honestly so am i. He usually doesnt stay out this long without a phone call. And we cant reach him. He wont answer," Zaire said worried. Aiden got and went into the bathroom. Once he came out he picked up his phone and called Zane. It rung twice then went through. "Hello Zane are you there," Aiden said on the phone. "Huff...Aiden...huff...Hey," Zane answered panting. "Is everything alright. Why are you panting," Aiden asked. "Two...huff...demons..ahhhh..then the call cut off. Aiden grabbed his jacket and went outside and into the woods. He ran down the path Zane always takes when he walks. Aiden smelled blood and ran in that direction. He saw two female demons with Zane. "Where is your sister at human. We know bout your gifts," the first said. "Like hell im gonna tell you," Zane replied. The second demon used you power to injure Zane's arm. "AHHHHH," Zane cried in pain. "I will ask you one last time where is your sister," the first demon asked again. "Im not saying," Zane said. The first demon then stab Zane in the stomach. "AHHHHH," Zane yelled out. Aiden jumped out from the trees and knocked the other two demons back. "Well hello there Aiden," the first demon said. "You know him. Who is he," the second demon asked. Aiden ignored them and checked on Zane. "Aiden," Zane said then coughed up blood. "Hold on im gonna get you to the hospital," Aiden said. "He is my younger sisters best friend. He is a human lover. Does Haruka know how you feel bout this human Aiden," the first demon said. "SHUT UP ZAMARA. YOU DONT MENTION HIS NAME," Aiden yelled. "Now now Aiden we both know Haruka hates humans. At least he did when he was killing them with us. He left cause of you. So you are cheating on Haruka now with a human," Zamara said. "I would never do that to him," Aiden said while applying pressure to Zane's wound. "Come on now Aiden. Your here trying to save a human instead of with your boyfriend. What happened Aiden. Is he to rough with you..."SHUT UP. Ik you are trying to get into my head. But its not gonna work. Haruka knows i love him. Zane is just a friend. Im not cheating on Haruka and i never will. You two killing humans is wrong. You will get whats coming to you just wait," Aiden said cutting her off. Aiden transformed and healed Zane the best he could. Then he stood up then stepped over Zane and faced Zamara and her friend. He then summoned little demon minions who started to throw fireballs at them. "You two need to leave," Aiden said coldly. "Whats going on. Whys the ground spinning and shaking," Zamaras friend asked. "Dont panic but we need to leave. Aiden is using his illusion powers and he summoned minions. He is powerful and not a demon to mess with. It seems i made him mad," Zamara answered. "Then lets leave," her friend said. After they left Aiden calmed down and transformed back. Aiden went back to Zane and picked him up. He headed for the hospital.

Once at the hospital Aiden got a hold of Zane's family and told them he found Zane and that was in the hospital. Zane's Aunt and sister ran into the room. They saw Zane was unconscious and was hooked up to a monitor. Zaire then turned to Aiden and pulled him outside into the hallway. "Aiden what happened to him," Zaire asked. "Im not sure i found him in the woods like that," Aiden answered. "Did a demon harm him Aiden. I wanna know the truth," Zaire said. "Yes he was attacked by a couple demons," Aiden said. "Why did they want to kill him," Zaire asked. "I guess cause he can see them," Aiden answered. Zaire went back into the room and Aiden followed. After while the doctor came in. "So good news. His wounds are healing nicely. He may sleep for a couple days. Other than that he should make a full recovery," the doctor said. "Oh thank good its nothing serious," Aunt said. Zaire looked at Aiden then the doctor. "Though he has lost quite a bit of blood. The injury there doesnt match the amount of blood loss. We are not sure what caused it but we want to keep him here after he wakes just to make sure its nothing to serious," the doctor said then left. Just then Aidens phone started to ring. He took it out of his pocket muted it and put it back in his pocket.

A couple days have past and Zane woke up to see Aiden standing beside the bed. He was on the phone but was crying. After a couple minutes he hung up the phone and sat down. Aiden didnt realize Zane had woke up. He was crying still. "Aiden," Zane finally said. Aiden looked over and smiled at Zane once he saw him awake. "Your awake. Thats good let me get the doctor," Aiden said as he was getting up. "Wait Aiden," Zane said. Aiden looked at him and sat back down. "Whats wrong Zane. You were asleep for two and half days. Your family is worried bout you," Aiden said worried. "Im alright now thanks to you. But i asked you to wait cause i saw you crying. And i wanted to know why you were crying," Zane said. "My friend Zahara called me. David was attacked and she thinks it was Haruka. We argued for a while bout it. Haruka has also been blowing my phone up. I might have to go to him but i wanted to make sure you were really alright," Aiden said. "Im alright. You should probably go see your boyfriend. Just be careful," Zane said. "Alright but im getting the doctor and your family first. Then i will go," Aiden said then stood up. He left the room and got the doctor then his family and left. Zane's Aunt Uncle and sister arrived and went into the room.

Meanwhile with Aiden he went back hom and saw Haruka sitting on the couch. He was passed out and had no idea Aiden had just walked in. Aiden went over to Haruka and tried to wake him up. Haruka didnt budge nor opened his eyes. Aiden tried harder and finally Haruka opened his eyes. "Oh now you wake up," Aiden said. "Why are you here," Haruka asked. "You wanted me to come back. Did you forget. You blew my phone up everyday. Haruka whats going on," Aiden asked. "Nothing is going Aiden," Haruka said then stood up. He went to walk away but fell instead. "Haruka are you alright. Whats wrong," Aiden asked worried. "Nothing happened. Im alright," Haruka said in pain. "Your not alright. Haruka just tell me whats going on so i can help you," Aiden said still worried. Haruka clenched his chest trying to hide the pain but Aiden noticed. Aiden transformed and grabbed Haruka and pinned him down. "Its not nothing Haruka. Please tell me," Aiden said with tears rolling down his. Haruka reached up and wiped Aiden's tears. "Alright i will tell you what happened. Just let me to the couch," Haruka said. Aiden helped him to the couch and Haruka showed him his wound. "Haruka this wound its healed all the way. What happened," Aiden said worried. "Yes i know. Me and David got attacked while we were looking for you. We felt your power near by so went towards you but you were gone. Thats when we got attacked by Zamara and Zora. I was poisoned and David got a stab wound and a few cuts and bruises," Haruka said. "Thats who i was a fighting off but they retreated and ran off," Aiden said. Aiden placed his hands above Haruka wound and whispered something. Haruka wound started to heal and the poison started to disappear. "A demon like you getting poisoned by a demon like Zamara. How does that happen," Aiden said then took off his jacket. Haruka transformed and pinned Aiden down. Haruka then bit Aidens neck. Aiden tightened his grip on Haruka shirt and was holding back his tears and holding in the pain. After a couple minutes Aiden wanted him to stop. "Haruka please stop," Aiden said trying to push Haruka off him. Haruka stopped and looked at him licking the blood off his lips. "Im sorry Aiden. I couldnt hold back," Haruka said then transformed back. "Its alright Haruka. Im glad your alright," Aiden said then hugged him. Haruka was surprised but hugged him back. "Haruka im tired," Aiden said still hugging Haruka. "So lets go up to bed," Haruka said then picked up Aiden. "Hey wait i can walk," Aiden said. Haruka didnt care and continued to carry him to bed . Once there he lai him down then laid beside him. Aiden cuddle up to Haurka and fell asleep. After a few minutes Haruka fell asleep as well.
