Episode 2- Slap

Chapter 2

He slowly opened his eyes and went to the bathroom

and he washed his face and he realized that his wife was busy with her work. Instead

of taking a rest, he was controlling his anger and hence he didn’t ask her any

questions and directly went to the washroom. He came back with a towel and noticed

that she was scared to talk to him and she was shivering as his footstep

leads to her and she can feel his cold breath. She was so scared to face him

and he knew that she was scared but he also felt that she is guilty of what

she did. Kira was well aware that he misunderstood her but she didn’t know the

cause and thus she couldn’t solve the problem between them. But little did she

know that someone was trapping her who she felt like a family. Ron’s deep cold

breath gave a thundershock to her and she turned to face him and talk to him.

He knew she wanted to talk to him unfortunately he didn’t give her a chance to

open up. He pushed her on the bed so that she shouldn’t feel the pain but hurts

her with his words. Ron arrogantly said- “You were very happy these days right

you must have sneaked out to meet him right.” Those words hurt her a lot and

she couldn’t help but slap him hard which made him fall on the floor, he

stood up and went out of the room. She cried bitterly as her love for him was

now about to crack into pieces like mirrors but even the broken mirror will

have the reflection. Even she had his reflection of him in her heart that will

not be replaced by anyone. She took her marriage album to see his expression

whether he was really happy at her wedding or was he pretending to be happy. On

the other side, Ron went to the pub to relax and he was drinking a very

strong wine to forget not just her but also that he is married. He was so

handsome that many girls were his followers, few girls even wanted to marry him

and they will be very happy to be his second or third wife. Ron knew this very

well few might fall for his handsome face and few might fall for his status or

background what he really didn’t understand was how can his own wife not fall

for him. He remembered their first meet where she came with a proposal for

shooting an advertisement. Then a girl started to flirt with him. He pushed her

roughly. Roy knew that what they expect from him is all that he has, but not

actually love. One girl who looked pretty came to him and asked him to date her

but he reflected her as he was not interested in extramarital affairs. He

politely rejected her but she wants to have a date with him and so she started

to act like a friend. He also knew what was she expecting but he couldn’t say any

know because of his mixed feeling as he was drunk. He said I’m married so

whatever you want will not get from me. You better give up because I’m not the

one to fool around. She was a college student after all and so stubborn that to

get his interest to pull him close and eyed to kiss his lips but soon, he

pushed on hard making her bleed, she hurt her foot and she asks why don’t you

give me a chance to prove that I’m worth you. Ron gave her a disgusting look

and said her you are not worth me if there is anyone worth me is only her. He

himself was shocked by what he said as her face flashed in his mind

automatically, he knew he had a soft corner for her but was unsure of what he

feels. He goes back to his room and saw her sleeping on the floor holding a

pillow and he sees their marriage album on the table. He made her sleep on the

bed went near her to kiss her but the photos of her betrayal made him mad that

he went directly to the bathroom and spoke to himself looking at the mirror.

WHY? WHY DID SHE BETRAY ME. JUST WHY? He then goes to bed saw her eyes swollen

and slightly wiped her eyes and placed a light kiss on her lips and finally

slept holding her in his arms. She didn’t realize it as she was used to his

cold shoulder. All she can do was just sleep before he comes back in a drunken

state. When Ron gets drunk, he used to say more pathetic and harsh words to her

and he wanted to touch her when drunk but Kira never wanted his touch as she

felt like he was not touching his wife but a woman who has no Chasity. In the

morning Ron woke up as his headache increased due to his alcohol tolerance, he

saw her sleeping in his arms on the same bed it was not a surprise for him as

whenever he was drunk, they will sleep on the same bed but when she will be awake,

she won’t let him touch her and won’t share the same bed. He pressed her cheeks

hard that she left a painful sound that didn’t affect him at all he wanted her

to look at her his face before they get out of the bed. She saw him and pulled

herself away from him. He got irritated and pulled her close to his face and

said – “Can’t look at your husband’s face but can hug another man for your

desire. That hurt her self-respect. She then slammed the bathroom door she

cried silently and took bath and ween to the kitchen without facing him. He

knew what he said hurt her but he consoled himself by saying she made him lose

his temper. He took bath and went directly towards the kitchen where she was

preparing breakfast for all the members of the family. She walked to him and

apologized but she didn’t stand there for a movement. Soon Madison came for

breakfast and she was happy to see has she always wanted to slap him for

misunderstanding her sister and insulting her. Later Nick comes down and sees

the slap on his brother's face and he didn’t react much as he knew if he speaks

anything the distance between his wife and him will increase even more. After

breakfast, Kira saw her husband and distanced herself from him when he

approached her to ask whether she will be able to attend the party with him but

he couldn’t ask after she moved away from him. She went directly to her office

not talking to anyone and so did Madison. Now, both the brothers were watching

cricket unfortunately they didn’t enjoy it and sighed. Why did your wife slap you?

- Nick asked Ron. He didn’t reply but gave a troubled face finally drank water

and he responded as she deserves it. Nick sighed look either you divorce her

just give her a chance as I can see her behavior is not like what you

mentioned. Ron then gave him an unpleasant look as his eyes indicated to stay

out of their issues. Nick understood that he can’t further talk about her. They

understand each other so well that they don’t require words to speak. Ron said

he will not divorce her, she needs to learn a lesson of betrayal. She needs to

understand her deeds and apologize for them. It’s not like I don’t want to

divorce her it's just that I want to give her a chance but she cant earn a

chance just like that, she needs to overcome my hatred for her to be my lovely

wife. Even after all this if she doesn’t want to continue to be my wife……… I

will have no choice but to….., but to what Ron? He doesn’t answer he hates his

wife to the core that he doesn’t know how he will react but all he wanted was

to torture her and make her apologize for his pride.
