The beggining

Marinette was sleeping peacefully when the alarm rang.

she jumped out of bed with

wide-open eyes

- Tikki\, I overslept again\, I'll be late for school- she said and hurried into the

bathroom to get ready.

- Don't worry\, Marinette\, I think everyone already knows you're always late.

Tikki giggles

Marinette gets ready quickly, and Tikki prepares her bag for school. Marinette is in 11th

grade and has her first hour of fencing. She runs to school and arrives just as

the bell rings.

-         Marinette, you are pleased to honor us with your presence this morning. And you're on time! - said the fencing teacher Mr. Floret. - Come on, put on your kit, take the sword, today you will partner with Nino.

Nino is a tall, athletic young man who writes music in his spare time, is secretly in

love with Marinette's best friend, Alya, and is Adrien’s best friend.

-         Girl, don't tell me that's all you took for today ...- Alya said, looking at Marinette and not seeing her sword

anywhere.

-         Oh no, I forgot we had fencing today and I didn't take the sword I won't be in class ...- Marinette said.

Adrien approached her.

- It often happens to me\, so I always keep a spare in my locker. Wait for a second and I'll bring it to you.- Adrien said\, smiling at Marinette.

Marinette froze. Alya went to her.

Marinette blushed and said:

- No way Alya\, he would not like a girl like me. And there are so many girls in Paris\,

I'm sure he already has a girlfriend.

Adrien came back and gave Marinette his sword.

Alya saw Adrien smiles at Marinette and decided it was the perfect time to find out if he

had a girlfriend.

- Yeah\, Adrien\, Marinette\, and I were wondering if you had a girlfriend ...- Alya

said with a sly smile and a slight giggle.

- Alya\, you can't just ask people like that. You’re invading his personal space.

Adrien

smiled, but with only one side of his lips and looked right in Marinette.

* After the fencing class *

- Let's go for a walk!- Alya asked Marinette\, Adrien\, and Nino.

- I can\, but only for two hours because I have a piano lesson.- Adrien said.

- I'm for it.- Nino said.

- I can\, too.- Marinette said.

In the park:

- Let's

play something!- Alya suggests.

- Sure\, dude\, just tell me what.- Nino replied.

- It offers truth or challenge. - Adrien said.

- Um ... I-I agree.- Marinette said\, blushing as Adrienne looked her straight in the

eye.

-So we got along. Who's starting? Nino asked.

- Adrien suggested\, so let him start. - Alya said.

- Ah\, truth.

-I'll ask Alya. Truth or dare, sweetheart? - Nino asked, turning to Alya.

- WHAT?- Marinette shouted.

- I'm sorry\, I shouldn't have reacted like that. I just ... - Marinette said sadly\,

considering what her next words should be.

Alya got up and pulled Marinette a little farther from the boys and said:

- I think now is the perfect time to tell him how you feel about him.
