Chapter 5: Boy Meets Evil pt2

..."hey, what are you doing here?" Hoseok asked as he saw Taehyung walking toward him in the night club they, he and his best friend Akihiro, were currently in....

..."Jimin and I had a fight because apparently I'm the bad friend between the two of us" Taehyung answered with a sour tone in his voice that could even be heard through the loud music and the boy didn't look too happy either, Hoseok noted as he looked closer at his new room mate....

..."why are you a bad friend?" Hoseok asked confused as he had thought that the younger was a really good friend from what he had seen in the past 10 days. Mean while (aki)Hiro went to the bar and ordered three drinks thinking that Taehyung could use it and Hoseok already having told him about having a crush on his new room mate....

..."I don't really know and I don't wanna talk about it" the young international student told the elder who understood and knew that they would have enough time to talk about it later, they did have to live together for 4 years. Not long after they started talking about another subject, Osaka's night life, Hiro returned with their drinks....

..."Bakushu Kyoto Classic Red Ale to introduce you to Kyoto's night life" Hiro said with a wink as he handed the drinks to the two others....

..."i need to make sure that you guys come here from time to time"...

..."You could also come to Osaka from time to time" Hoseok said with a smirk on his face, knowing what the other would say....

..."Man, you know I'm broke" the man said with a laugh, indicating that the was exaggerating....

..."man, that's always your excuse. How are you even complaining? Your parents pay everything for you and you have a job" Hoseok said before he took a sip of his drink....

..."you know Tae, I'm thinking you'll see this sucker often"...

..."I don't mind, you seem nice" Taehyung said a bit shy, not yet used to Hoseok using a nick name for him even though he normally never had a problem with it....

..."I don't mind your friends coming over"...

..."You know Tae, let's try to make my friends your friends too. You don't have to be alone until you make new friends" his room mate replied as he threw an arm around the younger, pulling him close....

...That night they got drunk, well not really, they wanted to think that they were drunk, let's say that and the three of them went to Hoseok's home early in the morning, them being thankful that said student's parents weren't awake and that they hadn't awoken them....

...Akihiro was the first to leave after they had woken up, saying something about Hoseok's parents not really liking him and climbed out of the window and through garden....

..."So you wanna go downstairs and eat break fast, my mother has been asking me to bring you here from the moment your plane landed." Hoseok said as he and Taehyung were freshening themselves up a bit, preventing Hoseok's parents from smelling the alcohol on their breath....

..."uhm, yeah sure, why not" Taehyung said after he spit out the mouth water he had in his mouth and checking his breath....

..."Good morning, mom" Hoseok said as they entered the kitchen where his mother was making what seemed to be freshly grounded coffee and baking some muffins, reminding Taehyung a bit of his mother....

..."hello, sweetie" she said as he turned around with a spoon in one hand and a bowl of rice in the other, happily eating her breakfast....

..."oh my, you must be Taehyung" she said much to Hoseok and Taehyung amazement since she hadn't seen a picture of the boy or anything like that....

..."Yes ma'am. It's nice to meet you" Taehyung replied after a few seconds with a deep bow....

..."Yes it is nice to finally meet you. You look just like your mother by the way" She said as she offered the boy a sweet and sincere smile before she ushered them to sit down at the kitchen table and asked them if they wanted tea. It was nice having breakfast with Hoseok's mom Taehyung quickly discovered, she was just like his mom had told her to be, nice and warm like the sun, just like Hoseok himself Taehyung now realized....

...She immediately asked if the boys would also stay for dinner since Hoseok would leave for Osaka the next morning, somewhat moving out to study, so the boy's agreed, partially because Taehyung didn't wanna risk running into Jimin back home. During the day they decided that Hoseok would give Taehyung a tour of Kyoto and they would buy some more things they needed for school....

...They had lunch in a cute café which had all kinds of cakes and pastries, Taehyung wanting to bring some home as desert and as a thank you present for Hoseok's parents, so they asked the cashier until what time they were opened and if they could keep a cake on the side for them, which they gladly did if they paid in advances....

...After lunch they went to buy some clothes, Hoseok pushing the younger to wear more skin tight clothes, saying that they looked really good on him. They also found a t-shirt which actually was at the women's clothing section but looked good on Taehyung with a chocker-like neck band attached to it and Hoseok decided to buy it for his new roommate. ...

...After that they went into a few more shops before going home, eating dinner and going to bed early so they could watch a movie together while snuggling closer to each other, both boys too afraid to admit their crush on the other....

...They decided to go to Osaka with Hoseok car which he bought with his own money, as the elder had told him proudly. The car would make it easier for them to get groceries and to go to places since the apartment came with it's own parking spot....

..."Do you think Jimin will still be there?" Hoseok asked him as they were almost halfway, them just having stopped for a bathroom break....

..."No, I don't think so and even if he is, his flight back will be tomorrow any way" Taehyung explained with a sigh while looking out of the window, seemingly in deep thought....

..."you know, maybe you guys should talk it out" Hoseok said, finding it sad that such a tight friendship would end like that....

..."only if he takes the first step and if he come with a really good explanation for his behavior. I'm tired of being the only one fighting for this friendship" the younger again replied while turning to the one driving....

..."how is he going to make the first step if you've blocked him?" Hoseok asked skeptical with a laugh, knowing the subject was sensitive....

..."I guess I don't really want to talk to him" Taehyung replied and sort of ended the conversation with it....

...The first day of school turned out to be a lot easier for Taehyung after he realized that both his English and his Japanese were at a decent level to follow the classes and that the people who he had been afraid to meet due to his shyness were either shy and nervous as well or just really friendly. He didn't share any classes with Hoseok which was not that strange really since the elder studied a different subject, but they decided on having lunch together. Taehyung also quickly learned that Hoseok was really good at making new friends and seemed to be popular already, people knowing him because his room mate turned out to be a famous street dancer and rapper, which came as a complete surprise to Taehyung because said male had never heard Hoseok even mention it and for some reason Taehyung found it typically something the elder would do even though they didn't know each other that long....

...At the end of the first day Taehyung could already tell that he liked his new school, that he had made the right decision to study here in Osaka and that he liked having lunch with his room mate even more. He also liked the fact that their for the most part their schedules matched in a way that they could go to school and go home together. ...

...After the firsts day of school they had decided to go grocery shopping together so they could cook together as a form of bonding time, but they both knew that it actually was an excuse to be closer to each other. ...

...For the most part, their first few weeks went like this, them getting accustomed to each other's company and growing close rather rapidly. In the weekends they went out with Hoseok's friends or ended up watching a movie together, them always ending up sleeping together on the couch, claiming to be to tired to go to their bedroom but they both knew that that wasn't the case....

...Everybody around them could tell that they were in love with each other, even their mother's thought so. A lot of people even thought that they already were a couple and it was during their strip to Universal Studios Osaka that they made it official, Hoseok being the first to admit his crush on the other with the younger following suit....

...When they told their mothers, Taehyung's mom true a Skype conversation and Hoseok's mother when she came to visit them during one of the weekends. Hoseok's mother had even told them that when she and Taehyung's mother had talked about if one of them would get a daughter and the other a son (which they both had) about how ideal it would be ideal if they became a couple which meant that in a way Hoseok and Taehyung had made their dream come true....

...Taehyung's parents were more than happy to invite their son and his lover over during their next summer break and that's what the couple did, go back to Korea. Taehyung had been nervous about the possibility of seeing Jimin again even though Hoseok told him that maybe it was time to talk things out with his bestie but the boy didn't agree. You see he had secretly been following the boy on social media and from what he saw from there it seemed like Jimin hadn't changed a bit. The constant arguing with people because the boy always thought he was right and the constant need for attention were things that Taehyung only now noticed, now that he was watching from a far or when he thought back of all those years of friendship. Their entire friendship had always been about the shorter dancer and Taehyung hated himself for not realizing that earlier so that their friendship could have been saved with a simple talk and it wouldn't have gotten to the point that both of them snapped....

...Taehyung knew Hoseok was right when he told him that he shouldn't judge how Jimin was doing by his social media posts because for all he knew, he could be holding up a fake appearance and he might be a completely different person from who he used to be. The younger hated how his boyfriend was always right and how he was always there to keep the piece between people, to make people see the brighter side of things like the true sunshine he was. But truth was that maybe the boy also needed to reflect on himself, to grow up himself before he was ready to face the dancer again, even more so than he was still mad at him and he knew Hoseok was aware of this. That was the only reason his boyfriend didn't push him harder to make it up because he knew he needed time and space away from not only his former best friend but everyone he knew in Korea with the exception of his parents. Taehyung had never been open about the fact of how severely the bullying in primary and high school had actually effected him, he had never even really spoken about it with Jimin back in the day and that's why he snapped at him when he had started calling him all the things that the other kids had been saying to him all his life. But now the boy was working on gaining confidence in himself and that all the things that made him weird weren't bad things, they were the trades that made him unique. One of his old classmates, one of his worst bullies had even told him so when they had run into her at the cinema and she couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the man she had called weird and ugly so many times. She just flat out told her former class mate that seeing him now made her regret calling him all those things in school because he was undeniably good looking now. Most of his former class mates had kind of the same reaction when she had posted a picture with him on her Instagram, following and tagging him, for all of their former class mates to see. None had been able to keep in touch with Taehyung because he had changed all his social media after moving to Japan and his fight with Jimin. She had also told him that Jimin was back home too and asked him why they weren't hanging out together, but that was none of her business....
