The Southern Town was sparkling with lights of various color - Today is said to be the beginning of spring festival.

" Should we also celebrate spring festival ? " asked undine.

" Why ? let's just go to the town and enjoy there" answered Livia.

Peter and Undine glanced at me worriedly.

ahh! That's right, I used to hate festivals - The reason being that it was beautiful - I hated things that were beautiful- They reminded me of Clara .

As a cursed child, I was told to never step out of the tower and make contact with people. I longed to see the festivals and enjoy with my loved ones- my family.

Sneaking out of the tower was very easy now, Peter found out that in the east of the tower, there is an alley that leads to the center of the town.

Livia wore some maid clothes that were kept in storage room. Peter and Nyx stole some everyday clothes from I don't know where and Undine changed to her spirit form.

When we reached, The fireworks had already started. The roads were filled with all kinds of people- long haired, rich - clothed, children, couples etc.

This is my first time seeing so many people together.

Nyx held my hand so that I wouldn't get lost; we had some money on us so Livia played a game where she had to shoot the center to win a prize. well, we all knew the result!! Livia shot the arrow at the center and won a teddy.

I don't remember anyone else giving me a gift other than Castillo.

We saw dance performance and a knight play;

" The knight was handsome right, master? " Livia asked me.

" You need to get your eye-sight checked!!" Nyx replied.

" Shut up !! I am not asking you " spated Livia.

I looked at Peter and made a "Can-you-stop-them-please !?! " face. I was looking at the right side of a bar, where I spotted two knights dressed in Blue uniform - That's Fitzgerald Dukedom Knight's uniform .

Both the knight's were busy chattering; I whispered to peter, " Find out, why are these knights here?" Peter nodded.

I beckoned at Nyx and Livia; we need to leave, Now ! Although the Fitzgerald Knights don't know my face but if they are in town; they could come to inspect the southern tower.

It will be troublesome if they find out that I stepped out of the tower.

Our short adventure ended there; But honestly we had fun and it was memorable. We may not have such carefree days in the future. I wish Castillo was here !!

Thinking about him, I wonder what is he doing ?

" Master, As you guessed those knights were indeed Fitzgerald's knight ." stated peter, " They are on monster hunting expenditure, They are likely to enter the forest starting from next week. "

This men in black- They got famous in near future, They called themselves pariahes .

The blue- uniformed man had injured his knees, " You, outlaws !! want to revolt against royal family."

The black dressed man chuckled," we hold no enemity towards Fitzgerald dukedom so we ask to you stop interfering in our plans- ." Just then, a black wolf double the size of a boar appeared. " Grrrrr"

" This is the end for you." The black dressed man disappeared. The wolf attacked the blue dressed man- That Blue dressed man is kind of familiar? where ? where have I seen him ?

The wolf bit one of that man's shoulder, " ahh!" that man screamed.

I took a wooden stick and whistled- Both the man and wolf looked at me instinctively, " shall we play ?"

" what are you going, child ? run !!" that man shouted - I was right, I do know this voice !!

I threw the stick aiming to hit its eyes, The wolf dodged and let go of that man's shoulder. I picked up the man's sword and pointed it towards the wolf. The wolf snarled and launched itself towards me. I duck under in its limp and slash its belly ." grrrrrrowww!" The wolf ran away.

Thank god, training does really pay of !!

I turned around and looked at that man: looking closely, He was in his early twenties- Brown hair with purple eyes- purple eyes ?

" Are you okay, Sir knight?" I asked, " here, I have some medicinal herbs." I took out myosia leaves and put it other his wounds

" What were you doing here, little girl ? " He asked sharply.

I can't say I was hunting boars- too suspicious!!

" There is a peaches tree nearby; I was collecting peaches when I saw you and the wolf ." I smiled innocently.

" Even though- How were you able to fight- " His questions were interrupted- Four to five knights came running, " Sir Ethan !! Sir Ethan!!"

Don't tell me - This guy I just saved is that Ethan !!

Ethan Ledwick is one of the vassal of Fitzgerald dukedom and Duke's right - hand. He swears his knight loyalty to Clara .

" *How dare you try and harm my lady Clara ?" The agitated knight snarled at me.

"Little child, Are you okay ? " said the black haired knight, " you went pale as white for a moment..."

The other knights that came along begun to tend Ethan's wound.

I didn't think, I would end up saving your life; when I despised you throughoutly til the very end- is what I thought I felt.

No, The feeling I felt was rejection- Ethan rejected me completely.

Now, that I remember he was supposed to have a scar on his face- was it the wolf who gave his that scar ?

I was deep in thought, when I realized I need to get out before they find out who I am ?

" I..I will take my leave then, sir knight !!" I bowed and started to walk in opposite direction.

" wait!! " Ethan shouted, "child, its dangerous to walk along, let one of my knights accompany you."

No!! No!! Absolutely not !!

" I...I..will be fine..please don't worry about me sir knight , I will nearby so I know a safe route to my house and moreover sir knight's companion are worried . please get your wounds treated properly." I forced an innocent smile. If I have to avoid this crisis, then I have to make sure I smile.

" Are you sure, my child ?" He seemed a little worried

I kept smiling and nodded. The knights nearby him, moved by me word spoke, " such a kind child!!"

When I reached my room, I felt safe- It was one of a Hassel meeting with Ethan but the results were perfect- Now that I saved Ethan's life, he will be indebted to me. He will be a good pawn to use in future.

In my previous time, When i met Ethan was when he was escorting Clara; He went away from a moment, I was on my way to pick my handkerchief that duke had gifted me- No, it was the inky gift I received while staying there . so it was precious. Ta that moment, I lost all reasoning- maybe it was because I felt she trampled on my feelings so I pushed her without thinking of consequences and Ethan saw that; begun despising me." How dare you try and harm my lady Clara ?" The agitated knight snarled at me- That was the day he rejected me being a Fitzgerald.

My time in seclusion will end in next six months; I will turn 12 and so will the real wheel of fate of mine begin turning towards upcoming events.
