What is love?

Do you believe in fate?

I wiped away the tears from my eyes as I saw the sign on the giant billboard standing by the busy city street.

Fate?

What's that?

Do I believe in it?

My answer is easy : No

Telling me that there's someone who would like to make my life like this would be a joke.

because

Who would be this cruel?!

I started walking lazily among the busy crowd not paying attention to my surroundings. All of a sudden someone bumped into my shoulder causing me to stumble back slightly.

I looked up to meet my dark gloomy eyes. with another dark pair.The owner ran his slender fingers through his disheveled hair which shone like honey in the sunshine.

Almost blinded I looked down only to notice his another hand clutched tightly onto his backpack. The way he hold onto it told me that he must have left someplace in a rush.

The stranger who just bumped into me, bowed his head slightly in order to apologise before walking past me.

After hesitating a bit I turned around to look at his silhouette fading away in the crowd. Suddenly,a sign at the corner of caught my attention all over again....

Do you believe in fate?

I shook my head before walking towards the opposite direction of the stranger.

Looking back just now...

Would I have changed my answer?
