"Do you accept Mr. Tom Long as your lawfully wedded husband"asked the priest. Laurain was in trance she never would have thought something so absurd could happen with her. She came back from her thoughts when she felt a slight pinch on her hand it was not a slight pinch as it left a red mark on her hand.

But who could blame tom he had to exert some force because she was not responding to his slight pinches. Laurain looked at kate sitting at the other corner in a beautiful bridal dress the real bride of the man standing next to her. The priest again asked " Miss laurain do you take Mr. tom as your lawfully wedded husband". At that time everyone in the hall was silent everyone was waiting for her answer everyone thought that she would not answer.

Atlast there was a faint voice "yes I accept" it was enough for tom to have sigh of relief he thought that she would just disregard everything and everyone and just went away as it was nothing. It was nothing to laurain she herself does not understand why she said yes but the way she spoke it looked as she is accepting a some type of thing. Tom has thought all of all the situations that may result in her rejection his reputation will be tarnished he will become a joke and his high self esteem and ego will be hurt he really doesn't want 'her' to see him become a joke. He doesn't want to look pathetic as he looked two days before the wedding.

"The groom may kiss the bride know" said the priest "you dare" was the answer laurain gave him in return. Her voice was so cold that even the priest did not want to look at her at the moment. It was like he was the one that did the mistake of asking them to kiss. The priest looked at the bride only to see that she was glaring daggers at him he felt like if he was alone he already would have been dead by her hands. Tom was caught in a difficult situation he moved a inch more closer to laurain and lightly kissed her on the forehead and whispered a sorry.

"We should start the ceremony for the next bride and groom" the priest said as tom and laurain went to their seats. Laurain's face didn't show any kind of emotion she was neither sad nor happy. It was only a mistake that disturbed her from her original path. Her path of revenge. Near her these things have absolutely no significance. But she was still stupefied that how she got herself married.

2 days before the wedding

In Air Force every soldier has to undergo different types of training. They train their soldiers both mentally and physically.

Its been a year and a half since laurain entered air force only for improving herself and she could even learn how to fly a fighter plane.

There were 9 girls that entered the air force with laurain. They were all friends with each other as there were only few girls that got enrolled in the academy as compared to boys.

Today was Nora's best friend Kate's engagement ceremony and she invited all of them as she was friend with all of them.

They reached the Royal Complex, most expensive complex in city M. The engagement ceremony was held in hall 3. The hall was decorated very beautifully there was a stage in the front there were 2 pillars on both side of the stage filled with red and white roses.The stage was not that big as only 5 people could stand. Laurain and her friends went to table at the right corner of the hall as kate was no where to be seen. They were all chatting when Mrs Vincent Long, Kate's mother got the attention of everyone and asked kate and tom to come on the stage.

Kate and Tom were cousins.

Everyone clapped as Kate and Tom got on the stage.

A little girl brought the rings placed in beautiful tray. Tom picked up the ring and put it on Kate's finger. Anyone could see that Tom was very happy from his expressions it was like a spring has came for him. Kate on the other hand was contemplating whether to put the ring on Tom's finger or not.

At last she did not and ran to a corner where Harry was standing. Kate and Harry loved eachother. Kate had told her parents that she doesn't want to marry tom but they told her that nothing could be done as their relatives have already known. They did so only because of her because first she fought with them to allow her to be with the one she loved. But a week before the engagement she wanted to cancel it. Nothing could be done at that time as two days after the engagement was their wedding. If they cancel the wedding at this time they will not be able to show their face to anyone. And their hard earned reputation will be tarnished.

"Will you marry me?" Kate said with a very beautiful smile.

Harry who was very sad hugged her the moment she spoke these words.

Kate Long was a beautiful women with slim body and pretty face her long hair were put into a flower bun with her red offshoulder dress in which she looked very petite.

Harry Bernard was a handsome gentleman. He courted kate for almost a year. He fell in love with her at first sight. He was wearing a black suit in which he looked more handsome his sharp features earned him many stares from girls but his eyes were fixed only on kate.

When kate came to harry he was so happy that he hugged her with all his might

All were silent at the moment no one thought that kate would run from her own engagement. Tom was speechless he didn't understand what happened she was just about to put the ring on his finger. He was angry when he saw her asking harry to marry her.

Their relatives started talking in whipers about what happened. Kate brought harry on the stage with her and said

"I'm sorry for what happened today but the one who I want to marry and the one who I love is Harry. I cannot get engaged with Tom"

She took of the ring and gave it back to Tom.

Tom snapped out, looked at everyone and kate than said

"I also have something to say. As kate is now with the one she loves than I should also be with the one I love." Everyone was like 'what the ****'. Saying this he went to a certain direction.

Laurain was texting at the moment. Tom, has seen a girl staring at their direction for a long time even after she saw him staring back at her she didn't looked away,and went straight to her. Laurain was typing a message when someone grabbed her hand when she looked up she saw a handsome man dressed in a white suit. He was looking at her with sadness and pleading eyes

Laurain's mind was already occupied with something really important she didn't know of the drama going on.

Tom grabbed laurain's hand and started dragging her to the stage. Laurain was dumbfounded she didn't have a slightest idea of what was going on she heard some voices but her attention was at something else.

Tom went to the stage and said

" I also love someone else so lets continue the engagement ceremony " he said as he slid the ring on laurain's finger. He was smiling all this time but Laurain could see the sadness behind his fake smile. His eyes gave him away.

Laurain was silent all the time. She didn't do anything allowing tom to do what he wanted. She didn't even show any kind of expression only staring at his face with her big brown eyes.

Harry took out the rings which he had bought for kate and himself when he first proposed her. He thought that he would give these rings to her as a goodbye, who could have thought that they would be used by them. Harry was soo happy that he didn't understand what to do. He immediately went down on one knee and asked

"Will you marry me? My love"

Kate immediately said "Ofcourse. Yes"

Everyone clapped.

Laurain didn't know what to do. She thought it was better to excuse herself first.

"Excuse me" tom heard the beautiful voice. Her voice was gentle. Only tom heard her voice as she was standing close to tom.

Laurain went straight out of the hall. She was opening her car door when tom grabbed her hand and turned her around. Seeing the delicate features of her tom felt more guilty. He just dragged an innocent girl in his mess.

Tom wanted to say sorry but he couldn't. He was embarrassed. "Not now" laurain stopped him before he could say something. Laurain freed her hand from his grip and opened her car door.

"Tomorrow at 5, cafe latte city centre . We will talk" tom said and turned towards his car.

Laurain rushed out of the city she was driving at 140km/hr. She held the steering wheel so tightly that her knuckles turned white.

City M is a beautiful city of country A. It had been 15 years since laurain came to city M.

After a drive of almost an hour and half. Laurain's car halted out side an old factory. She came to an old abandoned industrial area located many miles away from the city.

It was already 10 at night. Not a single soul could be seen. The wind blowed laurain's hair and white frock. She was looking like a beautiful angel wandering around in the dark night.

There were many factories and mills in the area. Laurain went to a factory which was the largest. There was no one on the first floor. It was completely empty and thick layer of dust covered the floor. It looked as no one had come here in decades.

The first floor had nothing. There were only the walls and small alley on the right side which also lead to a dead end.

For other people's.

Laurain went to the small alley. Pushed the wall in front. The wall opened like a door. She went in and walked through another alley. It was completely dark. After walking for 5 min she stopped in front of the elevator. There was a password on the elevator and that was also the only source of light in that suffocating alley. She put the password went in and the pressed the button for the 10 floor.

There was no light in the elevator. Only the buttons in the elevator could be seen.

No one could guess that there were 3 people in the elevator.
