chapter one

The loud clicking of the sword filled the air as the two men in black battled against each other. the handsome man on the left suddenly drove his sword into the other man's heart causing the other to drop his sword.

The handsome blacked hair man leaned towards the other ear and said "it's over" he pushed him, dragging his sword out of the other heart "it's over Cristiano you lost"

cristiano held unto his bleeding chest as he laughed, spitting out blood at the process. the handsome man gave him a confused look.

"I haven't lost Carlos" he said breathlessly.

Carlos narrowed his eyes at him confused and suddenly cristiano threw hi dagger at Carlos taking him off guard so he could throw his sword at the blue glowing crystal that sat on a spectra.

before Carlos could stop it, the sword had already destroyed the crystal, breaking it into many pieces.

the ground began shaking and Carlos was quick to go look for the crystals but Cristiano knew he won't find it and with that thought in mind, he lay to rest.

someday, someone worthy of the crystal will find it and protect it.

The wind was blowing softly through the words causing the tree leaves to rattle from time to time. the four friends who were all dressed in huge cardigans for warmth were walking through the woods with a touch light in their hands.

"damn it's chilly" a blond hair boy spoke up while hugging himself tight. "I can practically feel the wind even through my Cardigan"

"you're right Dylan" a girl with dark brown hair spoke up this time "maybe we should make a fire and rest out here for the night"

"no way!" Dylan replied quickly "I'll rather endure the cold. i won't spend a night in this creepy woods"

"if you're so scared then why did you come with us?" another boy with a black hair spoke up.

"i didn't want to be home alone Tony. you know my parent are out of town"

"yeah right, I forget just how lonely you are" Alexa the girl with the dark brown hair said sarcastically.

Dylan glared at her "i'm not lonely Alex and you know it.

"what ever you say" she shrug which only got him all the more irritated.

he opened his mouth to retort but the last red haired girl in the group cut in "guys shush something is coming"

"what is it Violet" Dylan said in fright as he quickly his behind Tony.

they waited as the steps got closer until a large black wolf came into sight.

"run" Dylan screamed and took off before anyone could blink an eye.

they all took off in different direction and unfortunately for Violet, the wolf chased after her "shit" she cursed as she quickened her pace but her speed couldn't be compared to that of the beast chasing after her and before she knew it, she was flung aside. her head hit a rock and she fell unconscious.

the last thing she saw was the beast hovering over her before she gave into the darkness
