Today is the first day at high school.

Kizie and her friends have joined the most prestigious and reputed school in the capital city - West Point High School.

Kizie is standing near the bus stop waiting for both her friends and the school bus.

Kizie

Huh. Where are they? (sighs)

Kizie

Are they going to be late even on their first day to high school?

Kizie

I am not having a good feeling about this.

Susie

Hey Kizie! (shouts loud)

Kizie

(Turns her back to see Susie running towards her)

Kizie

Hi. (Waves her hand)

Kizie

You are late I was waiting for you and the others.

Susie

Ah! Sorry I woke up late.

Kizie

It's okay. But where are the others?

Susie

Oh they are lagging behind.

The school bus arrives.

Kizie

Let's board the bus and wait for them to come.

Susie

Alright. You know what, we are the only ones to board this bus from our locality.

Kizie

Eh?

Kizie

(Lost in her own thoughts)

Susie

It means this bus is all ours.

The bus is about to start.

Susie

Driver, please wait our friends are coming.

They look back to see Brian, Alex and Stacy running towards the bus.

They board on bus and it starts moving.

Brian

Sorry for being late. (Panting badly)

Stacy

Yeah. All thanks to our geniuses Brian and Alex. (Gasping)

Alex

S-Sorry. (Trying to catch his breath)

Brian

Hey! It wasn't our fault. I couldn't resist myself from going to the cafè. (Scoffed loudly)

Brian

They serve a special flavour of icecream. I love it.

Susie

Who eats ice cream at the break of dawn? (Sneers at Brian)

Brian

You mean to say that 7:30 PM is the break of of dawn. Huh! (Laughs it off)

Susie

But-

Kizie

Okay guys stop fighting like kids. If you are forgetting then let me remind you its our first day at high school.

Stacy

Yes. And I can't get over the thought of going to such a prestigious school.

Stacy

I have heard it looks like a palace.

Brian

Hope so we all are in the same class like we used to be .

Susie

Logically its not possible.

Kizie

You are right. Meanwhile you have chosen Commerce stream I have chosen Science. (sighs)

Kizie

I will have to work hard to help my father. ( Thinks inside her head)

Alex

I am pretty excited too. I have missed everyone especially Crystal and-

Alex

(Stops suddenly)

Their is a sudden awkward silence in the bus.

Kizie

(Turns pale after hearing Crystal's name)

Kizie

(Those memories are a nightmare)

Susie

Um.. guys I guess we are about to reach. (Trying to break the silence and cheering others up)

Stacy

Yes! (Gets excited)

Alex

(Takes Kizie's hand in his) I am sorry for reminding you all what happened in our past.

Kizie

Uh! No its okay. Don't mind it. I have already gotten over it. (Lies and puts on a fake smile)

Alex

Okay thats good.

Kizie

(I can't spoil their happiness by getting them worried sick about me. But as for what happened with me in past I pray that I never get to face Crystal ever again.)

The bus comes to a hault they have reached their school.
