Chapter III - The Days

-Beginning

*Thud! Thud! Thud!*

"Haaa..... Huff, Bullseye..." The person was breathing heavily.

"That's awesome Wil!! You got all of them in one shot!" The other two looked at the lad with sparkling eyes. They were amazed by it.

The young lad sat down on a wooden log, he was exhausted from continuesly training.

"Here, I got you some water" A brown-haired boy gave the other lad a bamboo cup that was filled with water for him to drink.

The lad took the cup of water.

"Thanks Ko... So today is the last day, huh... time flies so fast" He said as he drank the cup of water.

"Yeah... We've been training outside the kingdom all this time, so maybe that's the reason we felt free to do anything..." The woman from their group said as she shrugged her shoulders.

"I wonder what kind of opponents we'll go against, Lucas-san's group looked pretty strong... Especially, the guy that came to take Lucas-san... Good thing we wouldn't go against any of them for now" The brunet said as he sat down on the other side of the tree trunk.

"Hmm... You're right!" The lass flicked her fingers and pointed at the brunet.

"The guy did have that insane aura surrounding him" Alison said, while looking quite excited.

"You mean intense?" The grey-haired lad corrected his sister.

"Yeah, yeah... they're the same" she flapped her right hand.

"I heard that they are from the kingdom that ranked top as one of the most influential right now" the lad said looking quite uneasy

"I'd be unfortunate if one of us go against one of them..." He placed his hand under his chin.

"Plus we'll have to go against the other three boarders, which is why we had to push ourselves" The brunet also placed his hand under his chin.

A gloomy aura started to surround them.

"Oi, C'mon you two! You're spreading so much negativity! Aren't you guys excited that we get to participate on this event? " The lass told them as she stood infront of two.

"We are... but... still..." The two men hesitated for a moment.

The three sighed.

"We'll be able to do this, we just need to believe on each other" The grey-haired lad said.

"Alright..."

The brunet thought that something was quite odd.

"Ey... Don't you think its quite weird? I've only thought of this now but... I feel like something will happen on the event..." The brunet assumed, he looked at them with a solemn face.

"Now that I think about it... There might be a hidden reason behind all of this" the grey-haired lad realized, a flow of expectations rushed into his head.

These two were the brains of the group.

They'll notice anything that comes suspicious to them.

Although, there are also sprinkles of idioticness that was placed on their group.

"Huh..? What are you guys talking about? Now I don't understand you twoooo...." The energetic woman whined at them.

"Ahaha... We were still talking about the event" The lad scratched his head, he also didn't know how to explain these things.

"Hmph!" The lass pouted.

"Oh..! We shouldn't forget about the man we encountered at the bar, He'll surely come for us to bring us down..."

The grey-haired lad said to them.

"I think we should plan out a strategy on this" The brunet insisted.

"True, true... We do need to plan on how we'll fight everyone" The lass agreed.

"Well then... Let's do this!"

"Uwaaaahhhh!! Why do we have to wake up so early in the morning?" A person was whining at someone.

"Today is the event Idiot, We'd gladly leave you behind if Captain allowed us to" A different man answered, the man looked quite masculine.

His name was Andrew Evander. Having the title of The Razor, due to the fact that he's a person who exceeds human capabilities in physical combat. He wields a two-handed sword that is heavier than a boulder of rocks.

"Ehh?! Kazzeeee, will you guys really leave me behind?" The blonde asked the dark-haired man.

Kaze, Also known as Kazeyami Zacharias. The Ace of their team, He is known for his excelent abilities and for his pure inteligence, He is born from a bloodline that has served the Kingdom of Orleondt. He wields a longsword that was passed down from generations to generations.

"Yes, Now if you'll waste your time on whining we'll actually leave you behind" The man answered with a straight face as he wiped his sword.

"Uwahh... so mean~" he uttered silently.

Lastly, This blonde young man is Lucas Azeroth. The sorcerer in their team, He is born in a noble family which makes him a talented fellow. He wields a long staff and uses light magic along with enchantment, despite being a sorcerer he is also good at physical fighting because of training along people who uses hand-to-hand combat.

Their group packed their needs.

"Oh! I have a great idea" The blonde smirked.

"Hm? What is it knucklehead?" The masculine man asked.

"I remember that we could team up with other groups in the northern boarder, right? Sooo~ why don't we team up with Kogane-san's group?~ Hehe"

"Kogane-san...? Who's that?" The masculine man from their group asked.

"Its the person he spoke with on the meeting" the dark-haired man replied.

"Oh"

"Pleaseee~" He looked at them, waiting for an answer.

The two men sighed.

"Alright, but don't force them" The taller man allowed it.

Today will be the start of the first round, which means that this day is the battle against the four boarders of the kingdom. What kind of battle will commence in this tournament...?

*Clatter Clatter*

"Woh...!!! I never really noticed how many the people are in our boarder but... damn... This is surprising, How could everyone on our boarder fit on a single bar?" A certain woman asked.

"True, but we were grouped in seats" A lad replied to the question.

"It says here that we might be on... place A or B..." A brunet appeared on sight, holding a map that represents the area where the event will be held.

"Sis, could you help Ko analyze the map while I check out our bag..?" The man asked the young woman.

"I'll gladly do so! Hehe" she gave out a salute to the lad.

The lad left the two alone yet is a bit worried for the fact that they are both idiots who'll start a fight anytime.

He walked towards a small stall that was beside a tall tree.

"Number 12 sir" he said to the man in the stall.

"Here's the bag and notes young man" The man in the stall gave the lad a paper and a bag. The lad checked and nodded after he had seen what's writen on the paper.

'Hmm... so we only have to find five things, but these are all poisonous and are pretty rare...' He thought, this matter is really strange.

"Oh! Yoh, Wilson-san!" An energetic sounding voice was heard.

The man was waving at the other lad, he walked towards the group.

"Oh, greetings Lucas-san and...?"

"Ooh! Oh! Forgive me, hehe... I forgot to introduce them" The blonde laughed awkwardly.

"Anyways, these guys are my teammates, Oh! and By the way Wilson-san, We'd like to partner up with your team, Hehe~" he said.

"The name is Andrew! I hope that we'll have a great cooperation with each other in the near future" he said as he gave out his arm for a hand shake.

The lad accepted the hand shake and smiled at him.

"I see, Then we'll gladly accept your offer" He said.

They both released their grip.

"Really? That's Great!" The blonde once again brightened up.

Wilson bowed at them a little for the offer of becoming partners.

"Let me introduce my self, My name is Kazeyami Zacharias... we've meet before at the bar" He bowed at him after introducing himself.

"Oh, Kazeyami-san you didn't have to bow at me" He showed a sign denying his formality.

The man raised his head and nodded at the lad.

"I see, But either way please accept my gratitude to you and your teammates for having to deal with our friend here..." He once again bowed a little.

"Hehe" The blonde scratched his head in a playfull way.

"But may I ask where your teammates are?" The taller man asked.

"Yeah, where's Kogane-san and Alison-chan?" The blonde also asked.

"Oh well, I left them because I was assigned to be the one to take our stuff... But they're probably arguing about something right now" He scratched his head, worried that they might start a ruckus.

"Oh hehe! then we'll also tag along with you Wilson-san! Please take care of us!" The blonde said, with the brightest smile on his face.

"Sure, I wouldn't mind" the lad said.

Meanwhile...

"We are on place B!" The brunet said.

"No look at it! We're on place A not B!" A lass said, they were both holding the map.

"You are wrong, just look at the arrow! Its at place B!" The lad once again said defending his own statement, as he pointed at the map.

"Your the one who's wrong! We are in place A!!" She said, as she tried to correct her friend.

"Seriously... Its place B, look closely at the map" the brunet said calmly, he had something ridiculous in mind.

"Yeah right! Let me check" the lass looked closely.

"See? It's place B and I can guarantee that" the lad was sure of what he was saying.

"Nope! Its still place A" the lass said.

"Look at the sign... See? It is place B and I can guarantee that!" The lad repeated.

"Erm...You kinda... do have a point... oh! It is place B!" The lass said as she thought it was right, not knowing that she was being fooled by the brunet.

"No! Your wrong its actually place A!" The brunet giggled a little.

"No idiot! Its place B...!" The lass still didn't notice it.

"....Wait... You-" the grey-haired lass finally noticed.

"HAHAHAHA! Pffttt- I got you! Ahhaahh!" The lad laughed aloud.

"My stomach- hahahaha~ pfft-" the bent a little as he held his stomach.

"Hmmpppphhh!!! You-!" The lass started burning from anger.

"You- you look like a tomato- Hahahahah!" The lad laughed again, while the young lass was left fuming at the lad.

*Smack!*

"What are you two doing?" A grey-haired man appeared.

"Itai...- I fooled Alison again, Pfft.. you could've seen her face when she finally realized it" he sniggered.

The grey-haired lad sighed, though he was kind of curious on how the brunet was able to fool his sister for the 8th time in a row.

"Hmph!" The lass pouted.

"Alright enough with your rambling, Cause we're having a team up with a different group"

"Team up...?" The other lad asked as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Yep~ and we're going to work together Kogane-san~" The blonde jumped out of no where as he grabbed the other lad.

"But, are we allowed to partner up with other groups?" The lad asked, as he was ignoring the fact that there is a blonde person clinging onto him.

"We are allowed to, the higher ups have decided that we could strengthen the bonds between other towns and kingdoms by teaming up, didn't captain told us that before we left? Or did you forgot about it?" the grey-haired lad explained.

"Oh hehe~ Though... Really? That's great, but...*sigh* Nevermind" The brunet sighed.

"I already know Ko, and Its fine... By the way, these two people are Lucas-san's teammates" He showed the two people.

The blonde was still clinging onto the brunet, yet the lad didn't mind it.

"They are Kazeyami-san and Andrew-san" The lad said.

The brunet and the young lass from their group already noticed something, they knew that the two people had an intense aura surrounding them.

They brunet along with the lass knew what they thought and slowly made eye contact.

"Please take care of us!" The brunet bowed a little at them.

The blonde released his grasp on the brunet, and stood infront of him.

"Haha, We're glad that we are able to work with you Kogane-san" The blonde said as he smiled at the person infront of him.

"Welp! I hope we'll do well together! Hehe!" The lad said with an energetic aura as she smiled brightly.

"That's the spirit Alison-san!" The blonde said as he also smiled brightly.

They all felt relieved as they all smiled along with the two.
