As Princess Ellen knocked on the door it was opened by the Queen's personal maid. Ellen stepped in nervously, her heart beating hard. She greeted the Queen and began to explain her purpose of visit and careful as she was, at last blurted out that she had an official business out of the palace, it seems there had been a flood in some of the rustic villages in thier kingdom and Ellen wanted to help out the victims. The Queen didn't want her to get into any danger yet, Ellen pleaded with her so she let her go. As Princess Ellen took her things and left the Palace she felt a sense of satisfaction which she had not felt in a long time, the breeze, the sunlight, the scenery seem to be much better than the palace which was kind of imprisoned her as it took away her freedom to do what she wanted.
The reason why Ellen was so anxious to get out of the palace was to see Avery, they had not met for so long yet, if she dressed casually as Ellen but not the Crown Princess it would be embrassing for her to meet him yet she was also on official business so not able to choose between her two identities she took a change of clothes for both. As she roam aimlessly she found herself an hour later near Avery's home.{Princess Ellen had investigated who Avery was and where he lived.}
As she wandered around asking herself where exactly Avery's house might be, she came across Derek, Avery's cousin. Though, Princess Ellen recognized him Derek never knew the Crown Princess personally so she couldn't talk to him either. As Derek passed by, he knew by Ellen’s dress that she was the Crown Princess yet he didn't dare to talk to her for her aura of dominance scared him. Yet, he felt a sense of familiarity as he turned back to take a glance at her.
Derek came to Avery excitedly saying he saw the Crown Princess and how he wanted to greet her so much yet he controlled himself because that would seem unreserved of him as a gentleman. As soon as Avery heard the Crown Princess was nearby he rushed towards the direction Derek came from and as he saw her back a big smile appeared on his face, then he run towards her and greeted her. Avery breathlessly asked the Crown Princess what she was doing around the area, this came suddenly and Princess Ellen blurted out "To see you" which made Avery blush but deep inside he was doubtful yet quite happy to hear it. Princess Ellen suddenly realized she shouldn't have said that so she added "I'm joking about that, I'm here for official business there's been a flood and I'm here to help out." Avery though a little disappointed he knew he could never be the 'reason' in the first place.
[As Ellen said those words she again regretted maybe she shouldn't have said that too but isn't it being obvious that I like him so much and I'm being shameless coming back to him even after being rejected. I was rejected as Ellen but being the Crown Princess I need to at least keep my demeanor and not make my moves on him obvious thought Princess Ellen. Avery on the other hand, felt intimidated and inferior before the Crown Princess as she was a person whom he wouldn't dare to talk to if not being talked to. She was like the dazzling Sun and he felt himself being so helplessly wrapped around in her dazzling light.]
There was an awkward silence between them when Princess Ellen invited Avery for dinner to which Avery readily agreed and thought later that, he should have been more reserved to which Ellen never thought he would agree. As they went towards a food restaurant the day had already become late so Avery had someone to inform his mother that he was having dinner with 'her highness the Crown Princess' which would definitely make her happy as well a good excuse for him to miss his family dinner.
