Jealousy: The first sign of Interest...

Ellen placed Avery lightly on the ground then touched his face softly and reassured him that he's safe and unharmed. Ellen looked at Avery with such love in her eyes that Avery was shy to look at her and thus, turned his face away and Ellen thinking that he might not be having the same feelings as her stood up and pulled him up on his feet without making him uncomfortable any further.

As they went out of the pit Avery was too nervous to speak and Ellen thought that he wasn't interested in her as she was to him so bade farewell without saying anything else. Avery went home and was scolded by his mother for not coming home for the night and Ellen went back to the palace to find the Prime Minister’s daughter Tereza who was also her bestie waiting for her in her Chamber.

Princess Ellen was excited to see Tereza waiting for her as they were so close they didn't care for the formalities such as, greeting each other but directly went on talking politics, state affairs, military tactics till love. Then Princess Ellen told Tereza how she had an interest in an introverted, gentle, beautiful cute guy, to which Tereza was quite curious to know who he was. Because dignified as Ellen was, being the Crown Princess and moreover she never liked someone else before therefore, she said 'the guy your highness likes certainly will not be an ordinary person'.

To which Princess Ellen had to disappoint her bestie for Avery was an ordinary man and seem to come from an ordinary family background without much influence. Then Princess Ellen sighed it's a pity my love is unrequited the person I like doesn't feel the same way as me. Tereza was sad to hear this but then asked Ellen whether she had asked Avery about his feelings or told him of her feelings to which Princess Ellen’s reply was 'no' because she felt ashamed to confess her 'one-sided love' in case, she gets rejected she as the dignified Crown Princess..how could she live on without any composture.

Tereza then replied since we don't know how he feels why don't we try finding out how he feels. Princess Ellen was confused so she asked 'how' to which Tereza replied let's make him jealous then we can find out whether he really likes you or not. Princess Ellen was okay with the idea therefore decided to try out the plan the next day. Early the next day Tereza brought her cousin with her and met Princess Ellen just a little bit away from Avery's flower stall and as instructed by Tereza they acted like lovers to catch Avery's attention.

Avery had noticed Ellen from afar and tried to call her but, seeing that she was with another guy decided not to do so. Avery seeing Ellen with another guy didn't feel good and he was looking at them acting intimate which made him all the more restless and he shouted louder and louder "Flowers for sale"..(×3) Tereza had noticed Avery's restlessness and wanted to confirm his feelings for Ellen.

Tereza therefore made Princess Ellen and Tereza's cousin to go hand in hand to Avery's flower stall. Ellen and Tereza's cousin went towards the flower stall and Ellen bought a bouquet of flowers for Tereza's cousin and paid for it to which Avery refused to sell them saying it wasn't for sale and snatched away the bouquet even gave back the payment.

Ellen went on to take some other bouquets but Avery went on giving one excuse after another and wasn't willing to sell them flowers. Seeing this Tereza signaled them to come back and that their mission has been accomplished.
