Saving the damsel amidst distress...

Princess Ellen seeing Avery fall into the ditch right before her eyes, ran towards the ditch only to find it was a deep ditch dug by hunters for prey. She could easily come in and out of the ditch without any difficulty however, she had some other plans in mind and as sure as her nature is mischievous, it wouldn't be a good thing for as far as Avery is concerned. Ellen shouted "Are you okay? Did you get hurt?"

Avery replied, "No,I'm fine, but I can't get out it's too high. Ask for someone's help." Ellen," I'm coming too, wait for me I'll come save you. Don't be afraid", saying this Ellen jumped inside and landed on a soft thing only to find she had landed on Avery. Avery "Ahh, you're stepping on me!!!!!!!(loud shout). Ellen, " Umm, I'm sorry...Does it hu...rt...??" ..

The atmosphere around them became suddenly tense, and awkward, no one said anything after a while, Ellen realized she was still on top of Avery and so she moved away. Ellen could obviously get out of the pit easily but as she had plans in mind she decided not to. So she said,"It's too high we can't get out. What shall we do? It's so late no one would be around at this time." Avery, "Oh is it so? Then what can we do besides wait for daybreak." Ellen,"Yeah I guess that's all we can do then." Saying this they sat side by side for the night.

They talked whole night about their life ideals, principles, beliefs and future plans. Ellen told Avery that she wanted a life of freedom, marry whom she loves and enjoy a simple life. While, Avery wanted a life where he didn't have to follow so many regulations of being a virtuos man and also he wanted an understanding wife who would allow him to live a happy life without restricting his hobbies and without being taken as a mere property. (which was actually the case in the kingdom of Tori, Women married more men to show off their wealth and authority).

As dawn approached Avery fell asleep in the bosom of Ellen and Ellen watched him sleep soundly. Princess Ellen was overjoyed with the whole thing and without realizing morning came, then the sun rose waking Avery. As he awoke Ellen was dazzling with the sunlight on her face, which stunned Avery who stared at her for so long...which made Ellen unable to control her emotions, she suddenly approached Avery and pecked his cheeks which were as red as a rosy apple.

Then, Ellen whispered,.." Ave..ry you're the apple of my eye." Saying this she picked him up in her arms and flew out of the pit swiftly...and landed safely outside the pit. Avery was still yet to recover from the shock of his first taste of romance.(Princess Ellen’s Martial arts was unparalleled in the whole kingdom of Tori and she was also so light footed she could easily take Avery out of the deep pit however as she had her own honey traps, she didn't do so until the next morning. )

Ellen placed Avery on the ground lightly and her hand on Avery's face then she reassured him...
