Chapter 1

Poorvi was working late that night as her boss appointed an urgent task and asked her to complete it by tomorrow morning. After she was done with the work she check her watch, it was 1AM already. She was packing her things up to go back. It's been quite a while since she was this tired. She only wished to reach home as soon as possible and hop up on the bed to get some sleep. As she was about to leave, a man's voice called out her name. She turned back and found her boss behind her smiling at her. He insisted to send her back and as she was already dead tired she just agreed. She thought that it's already late and she may not get any cab and even she found one she wasn't sure if it would be safe. Least she wasn't in the mood for a fight. She told her boss her locality and asked him to drop near entrance and she can just walk home.

At first, after getting into the car she didn't noticed that the man sitting beside her was staring at her until he places his hand on one of her lap. She reacted a bit violently to that touch while she didn't feel any good. Her boss apologized with not a bit of sense of regret in his eyes. She started feeling uncomfortable sitting beside him in his car.

She asked him to stop the car. They almost reached her home, just a kilometre more and they can enter her locality. He stopped the car and asked her what happened. She unbelted her seatbelt and opened the door and said "we almost reached near my locality, I'll just take a walk home." She said and got out of his car. There was no way she could stay in that kind of atmosphere, specially when the opposite party was her boss. The man got out of the car too and followed her. Her called her out and asked her to stop but instead she started to run fast.

She was already tired and didn't had strength to keep running. She just wanted to reach her locality to get rid of the man following her. The man was tall and had alot more strength than her so he caught up with her and grabbed her wrist tightly least she would run away again.

She tried to free herself but failed against him. He was way too strong for her. "Now you can't run away from me." He grinned.

"What do you want?" She shouted as loud as she could looking into his eyes. The gaze in his eyes was like a hunter looking at his prey. He grabbed her top and tore it apart.

'I have to do something, I can't let this happen, I can't let him do anything.' she thought and collecting all her strength on her right knee she kick him hard. "Bi*chh!!!!" He shouted with pain and loosen his grip on her.

On the instinct, she opened her bag and grabbed the pen she usually keep with her. The man gathered all his strength to grab her arm. His eyes turned red in anger and lust. She closed her eyes and with all her strength she swing the hand in which she grabbed that pen tightly and pierced into his neck.

The man fell down to the ground and layed motionless.

She understood what that mean..she killed her boss, she actually killed someone. Though it was an act of self defence, she killed someone. She put both her hands on her forehead, not knowing what to do next.
