What is this place?

When i opened my eyes my first reaction was "Is this hell or heaven? As i was sure that i am dead. I looked around the place and it felt like some kind of holy place, and now i am sure that i am in heaven". I stood up from the bed and looked around and saw it was a huge room probably back in home-place it was the building in which i was living. It was quite beautiful and the furniture were extremely delicate. After looking around for a while, i heard some footsteps and i held my breadth. I am still nervous even after i died.

"My lady you are awake, i will call the imperial doctor right away". A girl came along with four other girls and they looked around my age. They were wearing traditional dresses so i thought this is how people are dressed here. I just nodded in response and she left the other girls were just standing in line like i am some sort of god and they are my servants. I slowly sat on the edge of the bed and soon the girl came with a man who was quite senile and was wearing some expensive clothes, i could feel brightness of his clothes which will make me blind in any minute. He told me lie down comfortably and that girl rushed towards me and helped me lie down as if i am some sort of gem.

The way that doctor was checking me it felt like i have reversed back in time and on top of that it felt like i am four-five generations behind.

Then he said "My lady you have caught a cold and other than that everything is fine, you just need some rest and you will be good".

I replied "Thank you" and before i could say anything else i felt like everyone was shocked after hearing my words as if i have said something impossible. I looked at the girl and she also looked at me confused but she soon regained her calm and said "Its a good thing that you are good My lady". Then that doctor also came back to life and said "Its my honor to serve you my lady" while smiling gently he left.

Before anyone could say anything that girl asked "Are you hungry my lady, i have your favorite chicken porridge which help you gain instant energy".

I wanted to say that i don't like it but seeing that they have already prepared i simply nodded and sat on the sofa like chair. I noticed that everyone was careful while watching my every step even this only who was communicating with me was quite fearful of me, i could see how she trembled when she made eye contact with me earlier. After i took one sip of the soup i can only remark "Wow" as it was really delicious. I ate my fill and said "The porridge was really good".

The girl stopped mid-way while cleaning the table and said "Everyone leave". Soon everyone was out after shutting the door and the girl knelled in front of me and i stood up abruptly because uncomfortable seeing her that way.

I asked "Why are you kneeling?"

She replied "My lady i am very sorry we weren't able to save you even though it was all that evil lady's fault but still we were at the wrong too for not taking extra precautions". Now i was really dumbfounded i thought i am in heaven but from her words it felt like i am some sort of princess which is quite surreal to believe.

I made her stand and asked "What happened actually you might not believe but aren't i dead and isn't this heaven?"

"Thud!!"

She plopped down again and this time she literally bawling i comforted by placing my hand on her back and said "Its fine and you can tell me whatever you know and on top of that from how you are crying it seems this place is not heaven so dear can you calm down and explain to me the real situation here and what is this place?"
