Episode 5

Annalise's pov:

The next day at work was hectic "Mr. Giarrusso shows no mercy to anyone, my neck hurts" Risa said in pain "I have to agree with you on this" I said, that's when I noticed a boy and a girl talking outside but the boy somewhat looks like Mr. Giarrusso.

"Hey, who are those people?" I showed Risa "That's Mr. Giarrusso older brother and his ex wife Julia Gibson, he founded out that she had cheated on him" Risa explained "Let's hope she doesn't cause any commotion like the last time" Terence said.

At lunch I ate like I have never eaten in years "We need a bonus this month as we work our butts off to finish those paperwork" Lucinda said "OMG! you ruined my dress, you b!tch!" everyone turned their head to see Julia with furious eyes "Oh Jesus lord!" we all said in unison.

"Hey you! come help me" out of all people she pointed to me "Me?" I asked "Of course you idiot" as she said that I got up with my tray of food to throw it away "I'm sorry for this" with that Risa tripped me making the rest of my food going onto Julia.

"Ahhhh! you clumsy rat!" I'm so gonna murder Risa for this, I quickly got up qnd run which Julia started running also. I stopped in front of the elevator pressing the button to go down "C'mon hurry up!" I said impatiently "Come back here!" she said running to me, the elevator door open to revealing Mr. Giarrusso and his assistant, I quickly entered pressing the button to go down but Julia got in before the door can close.

I then noticed she had a bottle of juice in her hand "This is payback!" before she can throw the juice on me I quickly move out of the way making the juice spill all over Mr. Giarrusso "Giovanni, I..." she trailed off "You brat! how dare you bring me in your childish games?!!!" he yelled angrily while I sneak out of elevator.

After I got out quietly I quickly went back to the office but my left knee was hurting very badly, I remember that one time Timothy took an hammer and hit me on my knee "Hey, are you ok?" Lucinda asked with a worried expression on her face "Yeah" I tried to get up but failed "I hit my knee hard when Risa tripped me" I told her.

"Come sit here" she placed me on a nearby chair "I'll go get you some ice while you stay here" I just nod in response, after some time she came back with some ice in a zip lock bag "It'll help until we can get you to a doctor" Lucinda said "Is she ok?" we turned our heads to see Mr. Giarrusso "She hit her knee hard while running from that maniac Julia" Lucinda explained.

"I'll take her to see an doctor" he said "No must have important things to do" I tried to stand up but failed "C'mon Annalise he's offering you to see a doctor, what your son want this?" she said "But who would pick him up from school?!" I asked her worriedly "I'll pick him up" she reassured "Ok" I replied.

After Mr. Giarrusso had helped me to come outside, he then helped me in the car before telling the driver some location in Italian "You never mentioned you had a child?" I freeze as I remember Lucinda and I were speaking about him when he was right there "Yeah...he's 6 and his name is Matthew" I told him.

"What about his father?" he asked "Not really in the picture anymore" I said "We're here!" he announced helping me out of the car. "Ok, sorry if my English is not good for you to understand but I'll try" I kinda like this doctor he's bubbly "It's ok" I replied.

"So, it looks like you sprained it a long time ago but never received treatment" he said "I'll need to numb it so I can slip back that piece of bone that had slipped out" he took out a syringe with a substance in it "Your not gonna inject that with me aren't you?" I said in fear "La terro ferma (I'll hold her down)" I couldn't understand what he was saying.

And like that the doctor insertes the needle in my knee "No! Please it hurts" I cried as I felt the needle piercing through my skin "Shh, you won't feel my pain" Mr. Giarrusso consoled me "Let's get busy" that was the only thing I remember hearing before slumber welcomed me.

Giovanni's pov:

After the doctor was finished with her I carry her back to the car where I layed her on my lap, I then noticed that her shirt was a little up as I pulled it down I noticed a burn mark on her lower back. I didn't really wanted to invade her privacy but I had to as I was very curious, I lift her clothes seeing all her scars and burn marks. That son of a b!tch I should have killed him when I had the chance to.

No one hurts what mine and gets away with it, "Please help me!" Annalise said unconsciously in her sleep "Shh! its ok I'm here" her body then relaxed. The doctor said she didn't really have many iron and nutrients in het body, he also warned me about her leg she can't be in it as she used to, so I'll give her two weeks off as I know she'll never take a month off.

After I stopped at her apartment I let myself in where I saw her friends sitting on the couch waiting patiently "What happened to her?" Terence asked "Her sprained knee had been fix, so the doctor knew she could stand seeing her knee cracking so he put her to sleep. She has medication she has to take, ointment to put on her knee and vitamins she needs to take after every meal" I explained.

"I'll take her to her room, Thanks for your help mr. Giarrusso" Terence took her from my hand, I was jealous but I had to keep my cool as I didn't want to look like some psycho "Thank you for saving mommy, mister" I looked down to my foot to see Matthew smiling at me "Your welcome" I flashed him a smile "I have to go now" I waved him goodbye. Soon you'll become my son and your mother will carry your future siblings.
