Fourth Part

2 months later

"You have to believe us"

Melissa talks to two guards. They are trying to get to the building where they are recording the news so that they can tell everyone in Idun that it was Asun who poisoned Samuel. But the guards would not let them in and they had to give up.

Melissa and Venus started going home.

"Why won’t they believe us ?! We have the proof right in our hands! " Melissa says

"They refuse to believe us because they are loyal to Asun. "They may be reporting this to Asun, so we have to be careful."

We do not live in your old house

anymore, we had to move after we

infiltrated the castle and several guards and servants saw our faces. We have now found a hiding place in the sewer. None of us really want to live there but we have to.

We enter an alley and open the lid that leads to the sewer.

In the beginning we often got lost, but now we are so familiar with the sewer that we do not do it anymore.

The day so far has been pretty normal. We ate breakfast and heard what was on the news. We do not have a TV so we had to listen to the news on a radio. On the news, they talked about the war going on in Mandlia. They have

taken down the age of how old one must be to go to war. It is set down to 14. Markus is 13 and turns 14 in 5 days so we have to be on guard. He is not allowed to leave our hiding place.

The other thing that came up on the news was that people had to watch and report if they saw me, Venus,

Adele and Markus.

Venus and I are looking for people who can help us rebel and start a revolution against Asun. Until now we have not had much luck in finding anyone but one day we met a man and a woman who were willing to sacrifice

everything to destroy Asun.

Their names were Mary and William. They were just like us. They have had enough of Asun. This was what Venus and I had been waiting for. That

someone, anyone even children, would come and show that they also care.

We lead them down the drain and to our hiding place. Mom had made bread so everyone got one piece of the bread each. This was then our dinner and we wouldn’t get more.

"We need to make plans on how to start the uprising and how to find more people who can help." says Venus.

"We know many who are willing to help!" says Mary

"We also know how we might win." says William "But it has a risk .."

"What is it!? What is it that can help us!" Says Melissa. She can’t wait to hear what it is. Finally something that can help!

"That's you. You are our only hope. "
