Chapter 4(part 2)

"I noticed you're having a better accent and vocabulary in just a day. How did you do it?" Seraphine asked as she bit hee sandwich that one of Hota's servants prepared.

"My friends taught me!" Hota said and took another bite at the end of Seraphine's sandwich. "Mm!"

"Hey! That's mine." Seraphine pulled the bitten sandwich of Hota. "Disgusting!!"

"What's 'dizgushjing'?" Hota's face tilted and Seraphine flicked his forehead.

'What was I even thinking?! Teaching a stupid man a word. I feel like I'm teaching a 10 year old! Teacher isn't here yet so I guess it would be fine. Hah..'

"Repeat after me, 'kay?"

"Okay!"

"Dis."

"Diz?"

"DIS."

"Disz."

"Close enough." Sera sighed. "Gus- oh wait! I forgot to ask. I never saw you in this school. How are you in the same class?"

"Can we continue after?!" He gave her puppy eyes and Sera annoyingly nodded. "I'm a transferee student!!"

"Ah.." Seraphine blinked. She was happy that she met him. "And we shall continue, hah.."

"Okay!"

"Gus."

"Gusz?"

"GUS. Hard letter 'u' sound. Gus. Try-"

"Seraphine and Hota, stop talking!" The teacher yelled at the both of them and they immediately avoided each other.

"Yes ma'am.." They said in unison and

"You got me into this! Now, I will write my whole name back to back in five whole long paper sheets!" Seraphine exclaimed and Hota pouted.

"Sorryyy! I can give you food.." He pleaded but Seraphine didn't accept it.

"My hands will hurt after writing this all. Thanks to you."

"But won't I also write?" Hota gave her puppy eyes and Seraphine fell for it.

"Ugh.. damn it." Sera grabbed a pen and paper for them to write because of the strict punishment in schools.

"Do you believe in magic?"

"Hmm?" Sera was paying no attention to him so she continued writing.

"I can finish all that stuff in just one poof!" Hota said and snatched the pen out of Sera's hand.

"Eh? Ah- hey!"

"You aren't listening!" Hota played with the pen and threw it in the trashbin. "I asked, do you believe in magic?"

"You think I don't? Well you're wrong then! What's the point of throwing my balllen- mmp!" Hota covered Seraphine's hand and he raised his fingertip.

"Poof!"

The pen started moving by itself and Seraphine gasped. "The teacher.."

"Shush, I casted an invisibility spell on it. Nothing to worry about!"

After 3 minutes, the pen stopped moving and their punishment is now done. "We can submit this right now to our teacher." Seraphine bluntly said.

"Ahm.. are you mad?"

"Are you mad?!" Seraphine copied his tone of voice. "No, I am not! But isn't this cheating?"

"You didn't deserve our teacher's punihsment. We were just talking quietly but she scolded usm" Hota smiled at her and Seraphine felt a little bit touched.

"I suppose so." She wiped her eyes and yawned. "I miss home *yawns*" Hota laughed and Seraphine squinted her eyes.

"Three more hours and we can finally take a break. Wanna go out to eat later?" Hota asked while they are walking towards their teacher.

"Ofcourse."

"This is the first punishment you two." Their teacher beamed and gave them cleaning appliances. "This is the second punishment! You need to clean the bathroom!"

"Ma'am! How can we attend class then?!" Hota nearly yelled because he's worried Sera might get mad at him. "I-I mean.."

"It's clear, right? You two have an excuse." Hota sighed in relief and glanced at Seraphine who is just holding her cleaning appliances. "Let's go, Sera."

"Yes.."

When they reached the bathroom, Hota carried her appliances. "Can I use my powers instead?"

"You don't like it here?"

"Uh?" Hota smiled outside but he was shaking inside. 'The toilet smells too bad' 'Ugh, there is even poop on the floor! What kind of school did I just transfer to?!'

"Hota?" Seraphine suddenly called.

"Yeah?"

"I don't know why. But it's kinda fun that we're both in here talking and spending time with each other, haha! I just feel like we've met each other a long time ago so I'm happy.." Hota's eyes widened and a pile of emotions were flowing in him.

"Me too!"
