Chapter 3

The man gave her a shocked face while Seraphine pushed him off. "A pervert in our house, huh? Get out if you don't want to get beaten by my family!!"

"I'm Ho-"

"Now you're gonna ask me if you're hot? No, first of all I hate perv- why are you laughing?" 'I'm not in a good mood today, ugh.' Seraphine raised a brow and looked at the mans clothes. 'He's not from here and I can guess from his accent.'

The man imitated her and also raised a brow. "I'm Hota. That my name is."

"Ah, pardon.. but what are you doing here?" Seraphine glanced for a second at the broken glass window.

"I-I fell, there." He pointed at the window. "Window.."

Seraphine touched her forehead and dramatically tugged him out of the bed. "Please don't give me any troubles. My mom and dad will get mad at me."

"Mom.. and dad? What's it?"

"What're 'them' you mean. You're really not from here I see." Seraphine bit her lip and got the broom and swept the broken glass shards.

"Injured.."

"I won't get injured 'cause I-" Seraphine shut her mouth. Why is she suddenly talkative and lowkey comfortable when she just met this man? She also doesn't think of him as a suspicious guy. Seraphine has a feeling that they met befire but she's feeling shy to ask.

'Shy?' Seraphine wondered. When did she ever become shy? She's always fierce and strong. Her thoughts vanished when someone knocked on the door.

"Hide!!" She shove him under the bed and added some blankets to cover him.

"Umf!-"

"Hold on.." Seraphine opened the door and saw her dad walking in. "Yes, dad.."

"Your room is such a mess! Clean it up right now! You're already a teenager and this is how you act?!"

Seraphine's face flushed of embarassment as she remembered Hota was there and is listening to them. "Y-yes! I'll clean it right now. I'm just studying for the exams." Seraphine slightly smiled.

"Your mother is waiting downstairs. Eat atleast some food."

"But I'm not hungry as I said earlier."

"You ungrateful!-"

*CRASH*

Seraphine's face was blunt so she didn't show any emotion when the loud noise happened but she was a little bit shocked from the noise inside.

"Honey?! Honey, what happened?" Seraphine's dad auickly rushed downstairs and saw his wife laying down on the ground. The pan she was holding is on her face and burnt half of her face.

Seraphine went to check out what happened but a hand grabbed her.

"Vargoka.."

"I'm not Vargoka." She firmly said. "Ah I see. You must've mistaken me as someone else. I also remember my senior earlier. Do I resemble 'Vargoka' that much?" Seraphine sighed and then changed her face with a serious look.

"You caused that, right?"

"W-what you mean?"

"Your English is so broken that my blood is boiling because of you! And the fact that you made an excuse saying you fell from the window! Where are your injuries then, huh?!" She suddenly remembered something. "We'll talk about this later."

Seraphine Futzja P.O.V

I rushed downstairs and saw my mom laying down on the floor. I bluntly smiled. Ah, is this it? Will she finally be gone in my life? The person who made me like this?!

"Seraphine, call an ambulance!" Hm.. ambulance? "Me? Oh, I'm sorry but my friend is waiting for me and I. Need. To. Hurry." I gave a very sweet fake smile and my mother's cries echoed throughout the room.

"Child!!" My dad grabbed my arm and pulled it and I felt like he was tugging my muscles out. It won't leave any wounds however I still feel the pain. "Fine! You, get out of our house and I'll call the ambulance myself!"

"Haha!! Will do, 'DAD'."

I banged the door when I got out and didn't even dare to glance back. They deserve it.. I finally get payback when they also did the same.

[FLASHBACK]

"Yaburi yaburi yaburiiiii!!" Seraphine squealed with delight and her sister carried her.

"Yaburi? Aren't I Pauline?" Pauline laughed and booped her little sister's nose. "Is that a new nickname for me?"

"I'm turning eleven tomorrow. And Yaburi is a secret gift!"

"Ooh, that's cool!"

"Isn't it?"

Seraphine took out the paper planes and a portrait of her sister which she called Yaburi. (Author's note: My little cousin pronounces portrait as Yaburi because she always watches anime and thinks Yaburi is the Japanese of portrait, lol!!)

"Fufuuu!! She'll like this!" She wrapped the gift and went inside tha mall for a stroll.

10 year olds and above are allowed to go inside the mall since in her country, everyone is trained at a very young age and are matured enough to understand s*x including 10 year olds.

Seraphine looked around and found a big teddy bear. She wasn't like kids hee age who is fond of stuff toys and dolls but she wanted that for her to play with it with her sister for them to have a long time playing.

'I forgot I only brought ten dollars because I was just gonna stroll.' She sniffed and shook her head.

While she was walking inside the store, someons bumped into her with whole black clothes.

"Mister..?" The man pushed her. She has a fragile body so when she fell, she fell backwards ans her head bled. "Ah.."

"Stop blocking others way kiddo. Remember that this world is cruel and not as beautiful like those in the novels that you reas. Tsk."

She spotted her parents at a very far view and she called for them. Her parents turned around and got close to her. The man already got away.

"Oh my, what is she doing here?" Her mother asked and Seraphine's vision is getting blurry. "I don't have enough money! But what will people think?"

"Mom, dad..?"

"She's still breathing oh goodness! People are watching. You carry her!" Mother carelessly carried me and handed me to my father.

"Such a worrisome and worthless child." Her dad whispered and her mother slightly nodded.

'Why..?'

[END OF FLASHBACK]

"Vargoka..?" The man hugged me and I unknowingly buried my face into his chest.

"My name is Seraphine."

"Seraphine.. would you like to come with me? I promise I'll give you anything and I'll make you happy." He smiled and I felt sadness in his eyes.

"Do I.. know you?" I suddenly asked.
