Episode 2: Welcome Class 1-A

Takahashi Mansion, 4:00 PM

Once the limo stopped Griffin got out and opened the door but Y/N didn't come out so he looked inside and saw Y/N was asleep and Griffin smirked seeing Y/N was getting some rest. Vertigo got out of the driver seat and met with Griffin seeing what was happening, "We should wake him, Magmar wants him to do some training before-" Vertigo saw a stone clone of Griffin pick up Y/N and he was sound asleep. "Give the kid a break he's been training 24/7 for this exam and since it's done he can rest," Griffin and his clone were on the way for the mansion entrance leaving Vertigo behind.

Vertigo shook his head disappointed in what Griffin was doing, "You do realize Magmar will-"

"I'll take the heat," Griffin interrupted as he opened the door and his clone entered the building and Vertigo locked the limo and followed. When he got inside he saw Steeless and Suitor cleaning. Suitor had a vacuum, mop, broom, and dustpan in his four arms, "Suitor, A.K.A the Service Hero and his is quirk utility arms. Suitor has four arms and he can turn them into cleaning items which makes him the perfect cleaning assistant. Suitor can control all his arms easily making cleaning and maintenance extremely easy for him." Steeless put down the duster and she noticed Griffin, Vertigo, and Y/N were home.

"Long day?" She questioned.

"For sure, I'm going to bring him upstairs." Griffin was on the way up as Vertigo went the other way heading for the offices which were down the hallway. Steeless looked at the clock, "Hey Suitor, I'm going to make some snacks and refreshments. Can you take over for me?" Suitor worked faster and nodded, "Yes I can," Suitor was hard at work as Steeless was heading for the kitchen. Vertigo stopped and saw the door on his right was open and he walked in seeing the dojo. The room was made of lava protection material so the room didn't burn up during training. Vertigo thought about what Griffin said in the limo and he had a flashback to a couple years ago during Y/N's childhood.

Vertigo and Griffin stood in the back watching Magmar train Y/N and he was just 4 years old here, "NO!!! YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!!!" Magmar shouted proceeding to slap Y/N across the face and his face hit the ground as tears went into the air. Y/N laid on the ground wiping his face of blood and tears, "GET UP AND BE A HERO!!! HEROES DO NOT CRY!!! GET UP OR I'LL FORCE YOU TOO!!" Magmar shouted as the lava in his arms flowed faster and faster as he raised his voice. Griffin and Vertigo saw Y/N was crying, they knew Magmar wanted to train him but Magmar expected too much. Magmar scoffed in annoyance, "Go clean yourself and come back in 5," Y/N bolted to the next room where Suitor was to help with any injuries. Magmar turned to Griffin and Vertigo, "Were wasting time, we only have 12 years before he takes the entrance exams at U.A. As we speak Endeavor has started training his son and I refuse to lose this game. We will turn Y/N into the ultimate superhero and one day he'll be the number one hero," Magmar left the room with his ambitious thoughts and Vertigo and Griffin followed.

Vertigo was snapped out of it as he heard his phone ring and he picked it up,

"This is Vertigo,"

"Vertigo how did he do?"

"Magmar sir...about that, we weren't allowed access to watch so we won't know until we get the exam results."

"How long will that take?"

"A week at best,"

"Fine, prepare some harsh condition training for Y/N for the next week then."

"Magmar we don't know if he got in,"

"Don't poison me with that tongue, we know Y/N passed because we trained him to surpass everyone and anyone that stands in his way," Before Vertigo could say anymore Magmar hung up and Vertigo put his phone away and was back on track heading for the office.

One Week Later...

Vertigo was walking in the hallway doing his rounds and he heard loud noises from the training hall. When he followed the sound he saw the door to the dojo and he peaked in seeing Y/N was sitting on the floor exhaling loudly and Vertigo walked in seeing Y/N shirtless and Magmar was in the room as well. "Why did you stop? Villains will not give you breaks so you don't take them." Y/N limped up but Vertigo could clearly notice Y/N looked exhausted since they been in here for 8 hours without stopping. "You may look like a hero but your far from being one," Magmar ****** his leg for Y/N's head and he rolled to dodge. But after dodging the kick Magmar revealed his fist and he punched Y/N in the stomach and Y/N coughed as he hit the ground and he held his stomach in pain. "Villains will not always depend on a primary attack. Be prepared for a follow-up strike." Magmar lectured but Y/N was too tired to move. Griffin barged in interrupting the training, "Griffin what did I say about interrupting?" Magmar questioned but he saw Griffin had a letter in his hand. "A letter from U.A came for Y/N," Griffin tossed the letter and Magmar caught it. Magmar smirked and dropped it at Y/N's feet, "Open it and show us what class you'll be in." Y/N exhaled looking at the ceiling and he struggled to sit up and he grabbed the letter and opened it. He placed the metal device and a hologram of All Might appeared. Magmar listened as All Might welcomed Y/N to the school and told him his score and Vertigo and Griffin looked proud. Y/N was about to smile but he got kicked in the side by Magmar and his back hit the wall. Griffin and Vertigo looked at Magmar surprised at how he kicked his son into the wall.

"Only 94 points, I scored 150 points on my exam." Y/N's body was in pain and he struggled to get up seeing his Father right in front of him. Magmar raised his hand to strike again but Griffin stood in the way. "Master we shouldn't overwork the boy he'll start school soon and we want him at his best right?" Magmar huffed and walked away, "You're right Griffin, get cleaned up Y/N and meet us at the dinner table." Magmar left the room and Vertigo called for Suitor to enter. Suitor entered and went to help Y/N, Suitor started treating any wounds. Griffin and Vertigo left the room and they were heading back to their duties/posts. All the acceptance letters were given out and Y/N was to be in Class 1-A the hero class and even though he was hurting all over he was excited. There were going to be 21 students in his class and he couldn't wait to meet them. As Magmar was walking he heard a knock on the door and he walked over and to his surprise, it was All Might and Endeavor. "Hello old friend," All Might said proudly. Magmar went outside and closed the door as the three heroes were on the way to the roof. When they got there Magmar looked at Endeavor surprised,

"So Endeavor he got you too?"

"I didn't have a choice, All Might here, wanted to talk to all of us." All Might smiled and laughed seeing the gang were all here. "It's been too long, my friends," Endeavor and Magmar looked at each other in annoyance. "You haven't spoken to any of us for years, Mr symbol of peace." All Might sighed hearing that comment and looked at them. "I just wanted to catch up and wish you both luck, I hear both of your kids will be entering U.A high school." Magmar and Endeavor looked at each other, "Let's see who's child will be number one," All Might watched as  Magmar and Endeavor shook hands agreeing to see who's kid will do better. All Might sighed because his goal was to get them to come together not pit their kids against each other. "Shouto is a skilled and talented hero, your son Y/N won't be able to beat him," Endeavor explained. Magmar smirked, "Ah so that's what you think, well that might be hard when your own son refuses to use his fireside." Magmar and Endeavor continued to give details about why their child was better. All Might sat back thinking about a different approach because he didn't want Todoroki and Y/N to turn into Magmar and Endeavor.

Griffin was walking near the front gate doing his patrol and he looked up at the roof seeing three pro heroes talk to each other wondering what they could be talking about. In a couple of minutes, All Might and Endeavor left and Magmar was heading back inside for dinner. Magmar entered the dining room seeing Steeless and Y/N already sitting at the table. Suitor made ramen for everyone to celebrate Y/N getting into U.A. Steeless looked at Y/N's arm, "How did you get that bruise?" Steeless asked. Y/N looked at his father seeing he gave a strict glare and he looked at his mother, "You know me mother, I'm just clumsy." Steeless sighed, "Well make sure you put ice on it. You know I don't like seeing you get hurt like that." Steeless created utensils for everyone at the table. Magmar looked at the food as Y/N sat in his chair ready to eat the food Suitor prepared.

The Next Day...

Kirishima and Ashido were walking to U.A High but they saw a limo pull up and they both saw a stone gargoyle come out and open the door. Y/N came out and Kirishima saw Y/N looked down heading for the building. Kirishima ran to talk to him and Ashido chased after him, "I'm not surprised you got in man." Y/N heard that voice and he smiled seeing Kirishima and Ashido. The same students he met at the entrance exams. Kirishima thought it was weird how quickly his mood changed and the three of them went inside the school and Magmar watched from the window. "Did you do what I asked Vertigo?" Vertigo sighed as he put his hands on the wheel, "Yes master, I did it back at the mansion. Like I've said before I'm not as skilled with it so I don't know what the effects will do," Magmar was silent as he gave the signal and the limo drove away heading for the agency.

Y/N stopped and looked in front of them seeing the huge door that said 1-A, "Come on bro what are you waiting for?"

"Bro?" Y/N questioned,

Kirishima rubbed the back of his head, "I'm sorry since we're friends I thought bro would be fine but I could just say your name. If you don't like bro," Y/N smiled, "That's fine, bro sounds great." Y/N went in and Ashido looked at Kirishima, "Isn't he being a little weird?"

"Nah, probably his first time being called bro."

Kirishima and Ashido entered and already heard yelling. "ARE YOU Y/N?!" Y/N sat back confused and he nodded, "YOU MUST THINK YOUR BETTER THAN ME BECAUSE YOU SCORED THE HIGHEST!!!" The student with spiky hair shouted. Y/N saw someone with glasses run over and bring the student back, "This is not how we treat classmates." The student scoffed and sat down. Y/N looked at the student with glasses, "From what I got he's Bakugou but don't mind him. My name is Tenya Iida it's an honour to meet you." Y/N shook his hand as more students came in taking their seats.

In the back, there was a student watching Y/N, "Y/N Takahashi, son of Magmar." The student was thinking and he continued to watch from a distance. Y/N's attention was caught by Iida yelling at Bakugo for having his legs on the table. The door opened and Y/N saw a kid with green hair and freckles enter and Iida ran swiftly to him. Everyone looked at him as he said his name, "Hey I'm Izuku Midoriya," He looked nervous as he introduced himself. Y/N looked at him and he recognized him from the news about the Villain attack that happened not too long ago. Y/N noticed Midoriya was blushing when this girl with pink cheeks got close to him. The thing that caught his eye was the yellow sleeping bag behind them.

They looked in fear seeing it was a person, "Welcome to U.A's hero course. It took you all 8 seconds to realize I was here which is not impressive. Time is money around here and only the exceptional students will understand that." The man said with little emotion in his tone as he entered the classroom. He went to the front of the class and looked at the class, "Hello, I'm Shouta Aizawa you're teacher." He introduced himself in the same tone and everyone was surprised and Aizawa took out uniforms. "Let's get started put these on and meet me outside," Aizawa laid a bunch of uniforms out and he walked away.

A Few Moments Later...

"An Assessment on the first day?" Everyone questioned surprised because they should be at the assembly. Aizawa turned slowly, "U.A is very different from other schools and we don't have time for pointless ceremonies. The way U.A works allows me to run this class as I see fit meaning I call the shots. Before U.A, you all did standardized testing but never used your quirks for physical tests before. The ministry sees all of you as equals but the truth of the matter is only the strong will move on. You all have quirks and can excel in many fields but only the best-become heroes." Y/N was surprised because that was similar to what Griffin taught him, that's why Griffin trained him physically.

Aizawa looked at Bakugou and tossed him a baseball, "How far can you throw a baseball?" Bakugou caught it. "55 meters was my best," Aizawa smirked and turned facing the field, "Try using your quirk." Bakugou stood in the circle, "Anything goes, stay in the circle and hurry up you're already wasting our time." The next thing Y/N saw was an explosion and the ball went flying in the sky. Aizawa turned to face the class, "We need to find out your maximum power, this is the most rational way to figure out what kind of hero you'll be. This will allow me to see your potential." The class was surprised to see Aizawa's device and it said 700m. Everyone looked astounded, "Woah 700m" A blonde-haired boy with a small black lighting bolt in his hair commented. "That looks like fun, we get to use our quirks." A black-haired student commented, Aizawa paused and looked at the students.

"So this is fun to you?" Aizawa commented, everyone looked surprised seeing Aizawa smirk and made them a little scared. "You will be here for 3 years and you think it will just be fun and games. Idiots, you will be participating in 8 physical tests and at the end, you'll all be ranked on your potential. The person in last has none and will be expelled immediately." The class was shocked their teacher was going to do that. Y/N looked determined and he looked around seeing everyone seemed excited but he saw Midoriya showed a little panic. Aizawa lifted his hair so they could see how his face and his eyes lit up and he had an evil grin, "I told you that I run this class so I can do whatever I desire. If you don't like that pack up and go home because U.A isn't for you then." The class looked at Aizawa realizing this school was more intense than they first thought and when Y/N looked back his eyes widened.

"I was too busy trying to make friends that I didn't notice him, If he's here I cannot be last. I will strive for first place." Y/N and another student caught eyes and they both gave each other glares of determination. Midoriya looked beside him seeing two students staring at each other but he didn't know who they were. Y/N walked towards the student and the student walked past Kirishima heading for Y/N. The class looked seeing two students face to face and the mood felt awkward.

"Y/N Takahashi," The student said with hatred,

"Shouto Todoroki," Y/N said with hatred,

Midoriya saw those two looked intense and it didn't look like they were friends it looked like they were enemies.
