Some Words Meaning
I love you infinity” means someone loves you so much that it cannot be counted by finite numbers. People use this to show that their love cannot be defined by simple words. Its actually too much to count. Another beautiful phrase is “I love you unconditionally”, this means that people love you for who you are.
Nathan Scott once said,
”Someday, this beach might wash away,
the oceans may dry,
the sun could dim but on that day,
I’ll still be loving you. Always and Forever. I promise you, Haley.”
Back to reality!
Do you think infinite love exists? Is there a happily ever after forever? Is there a love which transcends through time and dimensions and stays till eternity?
‘The simple answer is that love is not infinite‘ (Of course not…) – not in any meaningful way. No matter what axis you use as your measurement, no matter what perspective you look at it from,no matter what equation you use, love is not infinite.
“Always and forever” is a metaphor. It’s common to use ‘forever’ and ‘infinite’ to define ‘very, very large’ dimensions. Think of love as a form of strength and time as a duration. Infinite strength could (theoretically) exist during a finite duration. The only things that wouldn’t make sense is a duration or a strength that’s simultaneously finite and infinite.
Time, love, dimensions..all so confusing, right?
Let’s just get back to the basics.
“Love you from minus infinity to infinity.” Well, that’s something someone madly in love would say. But, do they really mean it? Can one love someone for eternity? The answer is NO.
It’s limited by time; if you were to fall crazily in love with someone and then have no contact with that person for decades, your feelings could and almost certainly would wane, if for no other reason than people change over time.
Speaking of change, I won’t be the person I am 20 years from now. Neither would any of the people I will love. This effect is even more predominant when you love someone you have lost contact with. Your image of that person remains frozen like an insect caught in a web, but that person continues to live, grow, and change out of your sight. When enough time has passed, you love a fading memory of someone you once knew, not a person. You don’t even know who that person is now, and you can not really love someone you do not know.
And finally, love is limited by death. You loved nobody before you were born and you will love no one after you complete your days on this planet.
It’s not poetic, but there it is. When the universe dies, there will be no human emotion left.
Instead of saying “love you from minus infinity to infinity” , it would be better to say “Love you with all my heart(beyond Infinity)”.
