Stoneland

Peter is a prince in a country named Stoneland. He is expected to be mature and intelligent but in reality he wants freedom, so he runs away every night to get drunk, play poker, and do drugs which are legal in Stoneland. His mother left him when he was a few months old, and his dad is forcing him to marry princess Bethany from a rich country named Bronzeland. Peter also has a step-brother named Mark. The world he lives in is magical and full of unusual creatures and Demons.

I was silently climbing the wall of our castle with my brother, hoping not to get caught while going home from another night full of alcohol and hazard. As soon as we entered our room, Dad was there waiting for us.

,,Peter, I need to have a talk with you" he said. I knew I was in trouble. He took me to the hall to talk to me.

,,You're getting married to princess Bethany from Bronzeland" he said.

,,What?! Why?!" I was shocked, he knows that I don't want to marry.

,,Me and the Bronzeland king and queen want to have bigger territories so we need to get you married to Bethany, no excuses" He said as he left me there in the hall. I didn't know what to do or say...

,,Should I run away?" I thought ,,Or just get rid of her? No, I'm not a killer...I could just run away."

I went back to me and my brother's room.

,,What did Dad want?" Mark asked me

,,He wants me to get married..." I sat down on my bed.

,,Oh my god...Are you gonna marry them or no?" He asked and looked at me.

,,Of course no, I'm running away, just don't tell anyone please." I looked at Mark, even tho I knew he would help me, I was still worried.

,,I won't I promise, I'll help you escape and tell dad that wild animals took you." He smiled, but after a few seconds his smile turned into a sad face

,,Just tell me that you'll come back one day" He looked like he was about to cry, we spend together a lot of time, and have a lot of memories, so I wasn't surprised that he would be sad if I wouldn't come back. I got up and sat next to him.

,,I'll come back, don't worry. I'll take the snake we trained and send you messages through it" My brother smiled again.

,,Alright I trust you. We should start getting things ready for tonight tho." He said as he put a leather backpack on my bed and put some clothes in it.

,,You're right, but we should split up so we'll have it done earlier" I went to the door.

,,Hmm I'll find some food, water and alcohol for you, you could find some golden coins, weapon so you'll be able to protect yourself, and something warm too" My brother went to the door too

,,Alright, when we'll have everything we'll go back here" I said and then went to find the things we needed. I got the things I was looking for and went back to me and my brother's room. He was already in there, packing the things.

,,I got everything" I said and put all the things next to the leather backpack.

,,Great, now we have to wait, what time is it?" He asked still packing the things. I looked out waiting for the bell to ring.

,,1....2.....3....4....5...6" I started counting in my mind.

,,It's 6" I said when the bell stopped and looked at my brother.

,,It'll get dark soon" he looked at me.

I knew he didn't want me to go, so I got up and hugged him. A few seconds later someone knocked on the door.

,,Come in" I said. It was the maid who came to inform us that it's dinner. We his the backpack and went to eat. I sat down next to Mark and started eating.

,,Hey Peter, we could go for a walk" Mark looked at me and winked to let me know that he's planning the Runaway.

,,Sure" I fake smiled, now I know why the acting lessons for the theater were good.

,,You should take someone with you, it's not safe" the maid that was standing next to the door said. She's really nice and caring, but it's not the right time for that...
