Chapter 4 (Perspective: Akio)

I tore off the piece of tape. We were at the end of the forest. I walked deep into the streets of Nabu and turned my head to see multiple guards standing near the entrance of a building. This will be easy.

"Guard! Come quick! My little sister got lost! I don't know where she is!" I forced myself to cry, I needed this to be believable if I wanted to steal one of their identities.

A guard ran towards me and started to ask questions.

"Whats your sisters name and where did you last see her?" He asked.

"My sisters name is Lily. I lost her on the way home from the library. Please! Help me! I can't afford to lose her, she is the only family I have left!"

"Don't worry, I will find her."

I lead the guard to the library and when no one was around, I hit him over the head with a stick.

"I didn't expect you to be so weak that a tiny stick could knock you out!"

I stole his uniform and his identity card.

"Aoyama Sen. Nice name. Now it's mine."

I picked up his body and burned it. I threw it into a ditch and quickly covered it. I made my way back to the other guards.

"Sen, did you find her?"

"Yes, I did. She was still in the library. Her brother must not have noticed."

They didn't suspect a thing! Now I must find a way to get the information.

"Want to go to the bar?" I said to the others.

"We can't just abandon our post, the prince would kill us!"

"Oh come on it's cold out here, and plus, I'm starving."

One of the other guards started to speak.

"But-"

"Don't be such a chicken! "Your highness" will never know!"

They didn't say anything else but they nodded.

Me and the other guards walked into a building two streets away. It was very warm inside and a lot of people were there. The other guards went to get a drink. I quickly slipped out without anyone noticing and returned to the post.

I tried to open the door but it was locked. I walked away and found a crowbar. I tried using it on the door but it didn't work. I looked at the lock more closely. It needed to scan a fingerprint, an eye, and a code.

"This must be an important place."

I looked around, there was no way to open it. But maybe-

I pressed my finger to the scanner and an alarm sounded. It was loud and made my ears ring. I quickly hid in a tree near the building, waiting for someone to show up. It didn't take long for the guards to return and I quickly jumped out and walked behind them, pretending to be the guard called Sen. I saw a tall person coming towards us along with a few others. Maybe this was the prince.
