The bonus

During the weekend Liam works as a florist at a flower shop which is just opposite to the dormitory he lives.

Liam entered the shop and immediately started to work like a good disciplined employee. It took just a few minutes for the owner of the shop to notice the unusual behavior of him.

He approached Liam and asked in a curious tone, " What do you want this time? "

No way Liam was going to accept that so easily although he very well knew that his cover was already blown. He insisted on carrying his act as he replied, " Why are you saying so uncle? Don't I always work with such devotion! "

The owner replied teasingly, " Oh I am blessed to have such a dedicated helper. Since you are so in mood to work.... "

He went back to his desk and returns with some files. Handing them to Liam he said, " It's the last week of this month, It's time to totalize the profit. All the details of selling of this month are here in the files. Please make charts in the computer. You already know how to do it. "

It was a work that Liam hated the most, but he knew only by behaving like an obedient child he can bring the topic of bonus at the end of the day. Hence, he faked a smile and silently started doing what he was told to.

By the time he finished making all charts and checked them multiple times, the Sun was already setting outside. Liam stood up from the chair, streched his hands and legs and went to find uncle Joey (The owner). He was excited like a kid who was about to get his toffee for behaving like a good boy, the whole day.

Uncle Joey was handling some customers when Liam appears by his side with a big smile. The smile was obvious to read, it was asking for the prize.

After the customers were gone, Uncle Joey looked at Liam with a smile in face and repeated the same question from the morning, " So what do you want this time? "

This time he gets a straight answer. With a grin Liam replied, " My bonus ".

Uncle Joey was already expecting that answer so he spoke in a casual manner, " But the festive season is still a month away... Why do you need it now? Are you planning to buy a new phone or something? "

Obviously Liam was not going to tell the truth so he just answered in a Vogue manner, " Something like that... "

Later uncle Joey checked his full work in computer and only after he was satisfied by his work he agreed to give him the bonus in advance.

That night Liam returned his room with the bonus in hand. Now everything he needed was arranged. He called on that number again, and after a few rings it was picked up.

That person with a velvety voice spoke up again, " Hellow dear.. I guess you have the money now. "

Liam replied with a " Mn "...

That person responded immediately, " Very well then. Tomorrow is Sunday. I guess it's fine for you. I will send you the details in a bit. "

Liam cuts the phone and starts thinking in his head, " So... I am really doing it... I am really going to do it with someone.. "

An excitement was building up inside him, and so a fear. While he was trying to deal with this contradicting sensations he was having, with a sound of beep his phone lit up.

He took the phone in hand and saw a message. A place, a time and a name was mentioned in it.
