Y/N sat her the book, The False Priest, in front of her and waited patiently for Namjoon to instruct them further. She loved classroom discussions.
She could speak freely about what she loved the most; romance thriller novels. She wrote books, or tried to, in order to create her own reality.
She loves poetry along with many other works on languages. She was inspired by her teacher, Namjoon, and how patiently he spoke of literature. He even helped her write when needed.
Behind Y/N, she could hear Huen Rose and Kimmie Lisa whispering back and forth to one another, "I heard she is seeing Mr. Kim personally after school.Do you think that's true, Rose?" Lisa's voice irritated Y/N. It was high pitch and far from course and lovable. She sounded like a child.
"Mr. Kim wouldn't even go that low." Rose scoffed, folding her arms, "He only has eyes for me." Y/N knew she was holding her head up high as she spoke.
Y/N closed her eyes and tightened her fists.
Lisa chuckled, "Too bad you only have eyes for Jungkook." They then giggled to one another and got quiet once again.
Y/N's face was fuming but she didn't make any action towards the females gossiping and being full of themselves.
Namjoon stood up and smiled at Y/N, "Miss Kim, start us off with a character analogy of the False Priest, please?" He smiled at her softly, knowing Rose and Lisa were talking about her.
He could pick up Y/N's emotions better than her own father could; or anyone else. He paid close attention to his favorite student and never let it slip by. He would deal with the gossipers later.
Y/N started with a smile on her face.
She stood up and bowed before straightening her back, "The False Priest, Price, started off innocent and young but after her parents murder, she turned to a darker side and let anger and vengeance overtake her."
"Stay stood up, but very good." Namjoon then looked over, "Mr. Jeon, stand and argue against her claims please." He then crossed his arms.
Some people laughed and hid their faces. Jungkook stood up from beside Hoseok and a few girl's and bowed before speaking, "Price didn't turn to a darker side of anything. She wanted to avenge her parents; that isn't the dark side. It is completely human nature." A few people were surprised that Jungkook had actually read the book instead of cheating; like always.
Y/N turned to face Jungkook, "At the degree she was, it was very evil. She killed an old man and was going to leave his daughter to burn." She scoffed, furrowing her brow.
"But she didn't. She went back and got the girl from the house; perfectly unharmed. That shows that she isn't evil ridden." Jungkook then looked Y/N right in the eyes as they spoke.
Namjoon laughed as everyone started to pay attention even more. The room grew tense.
Y/N laughed and shook her head, "The only reason she saved the girl was because she remembered that she almost burned, if it wasn't for her father's helper. It was pure instinct, nothing else."
Jungkook shook his head, "Mr. Kim, what is the point of this? To try to make one of us look stupid?" He looked defeated as he sat back down in his chair.
"Are you giving up your side, Mr. Jeon?" Namjoon smiled, "If you can't keep proving your point of Price not being evil, you lose your case. Simple as that." The teacher then nodded at Y/N so she sat down. He then stood up, "Take out a pencil, we're going to have a test."
Y/N grabbed her purple pen and sat it on the wooden desk. Namjoon started to seat kids around that he knew cheated but he never said anything.
She looked up as Namjoon tapped the seat beside her. She then saw a boy with pink take a seat there; Park Jimin. He was the richest boy on campus and always wore silks.
Her mouth went dry as she looked away. She tensed up and wrote her name on her paper. She felt him glancing at her and she started to sweat from anxiety.
