Chapter 10

Edward's POV

I saw her, that store girl, playing with a cat at nearby garden. I was looking at her with a little smile on my face but suddenly it started raining.

She got up to leaves from there, Covered her head with the book she was holding before and walks away faster.

I just realised that I have a umbrella with me so I decided to give it to her.

I quickly got down from car and ran toward her.

Excuse me miss.....I call her.

She stopped and looked back towards me.



Yes sir.......! She said looking at me first but get shocked suddenly.

Ah! You...Do you know how much I waited for you at that medical store later! I don't even have your number to contact you......forget number....I don't even know your name....She said in a complaining tone.

By the way, Are you here to take your money back? She questioned confused.

When she was saying all this, I was just looking at her smiling. I forget about the case, the camera, the murderer and the umbrella I want to give her.

Suddenly I get on my senses and said to her

You are all wet, Take this umbrella! I took her hand and put the umbrella on it.

I owe you again, Thank you for this umbrella but you are also wet! She said looking at me.

My car is stuck in traffic, so it's ok. And there's nothing like owing me, I am glad to help you. I replied.

But the traffic is ....already clear.....She said pointing towards road.

Oh! So I should leave now.......Well you don't have to return the money and this umbrella to me.....I said and quickly leave before she could say anything.

When I got in car, I saw her looking at me with deep eyes.

I don't know why but I don't like getting away from her.

Whenever she was with me, I don't want to think about anything, just want to look at her. Why do I have a feeling that I should not have. A guilt deep in my heart is fading away after meeting her.

Am I being selfish?

Stella's POV

When I was returning home from office, I saw a little cat. I got there to saw her, I had a cat too when I was a kid, her name was kido.....isn't it a strange name but I like it....

When I was playing with that little cat, it suddenly started to rain and I ran towards bus stop but someone calls me from behind.

He was that cop, I thought he came here for his money but he didn't. When I was talking to him, he was looking at me with a smiling face and a deep look.

He gave me an umbrella and leaves from there, I was looking at his back with a little pain in my heart.

My heart filled with joy then suddenly with pain.

I don't know why but I want to leave everything and hug him from behind.



I was thinking about him when I was in bus, I know him and I think I know why do I have this familiar feeling everytime I meet him.

But......I don't want to him to be that person.

Or I will not be able to face him again.
