Next Day

Stella's POV

I woke up and done my usual work. I took a leave from company today because of yesterday's incident.

The cop yesterday seems a little familiar I said to myself.

Forget it! Let's enjoy today. I again said to myself.

Edward's POV

After examine all the points from Charlie Waters murder case. The chances of his wife to be murderer is the highest. I called her for interrogation and begin to asked her questions.

She confessed that she is the killer just after 3 questions.

I wanted to kill him from the start so when I got the chance that day, I killed him and I don't regret it. She said confidently.

After her confession, We arrest her but there is a little suspicion in my mind.

Every evidence is against her, From the blood stains on victim's body to her motives but why is my mind is little unclear about it.

I don't know why but my cop instincts are saying she is not guilty.

AT 2:35 PM

We got information about where MAX SWAN is. This time I won't let him run.

But when we get there, All we saw was blood all over and found the dead body of Max Swan. His body was burned by acid and his throat was cutted very Brutally that we can see his neck bones.

One of the cop vomited after seeing his distorted body.

We sent dead body for Autopsy and stayed there to collect evidence.

The CCTV there was, as expected, Broken and there not a single clue.

Even though the Charlie Waters wife is the killer but these two murders seems a little same

After leave from there, Leth and I were in car.

I think this murder and the previous one is a little same I said to Leth.

Dude, How can this be possible? Charlie Waters wife killed him and about this bastard, He had so many enemies. I am sure one of them killed him Leth replied while driving.

I know but my mind is saying that these two murders are somehow connected I said being a little confused.

I think you are overthinking, Go and get some rest. Don't overwork yourself. Leth replied concerned.

After Autopsy report came, Ammy come to me to explain everything but her face was looking dull and terrified.

He was tortured brutally, there were so many cut on his body and the killer poured acid on him later. Ammy explained to me.

I sent the CCTV for recovery. After a lot of hard work, We finally succeeded in recover it.

After watching the CCTV footage of the murder time, All the cops there were trembling, Even I was shocked.

After watching it I looked at Ammy, and I realised why she was looking so terrified.

I think you know now why I was hesitating in explaining you Ammy came and said to me.

I just nodded and began to think about that person.
