We Broke Up

Jack was siting on my right side. His right elbow pressing on the counter table, his head resting on the right palm, his eyes shining because of the dicso lights around, he was a hot mess with that blavk tuxedo and hair back. "Oh my prince charming you are playing with my heart again" , I exclaimed it in my mind.

"I am..fi...fine", "how about....you?" i asked hesitantly, "well its been a long time since we met" he smiled with a bit of sadness on his face. I didnt not say anything, maybe I was too embarrassed by what had happened that day. I wanted to apologise, but I couldn't get the courage to do so. "ummm.... i am sorry Kezia", he said while staring straight into my eyes, I in a sudden shock looked straight into his eyes, without reason my eyes started getting heavy and watery. He noticed it and patted my head with a pleasant smile, his warm hands made me so comfortable and a sense of happiness aroused in my heart. " I should be the one saying sorry. I am sorry Jack" I said while tears ran down my eyes.

He rubbed away the tears and said "Kezia, look, its true that I was damn mad at you, but I know that you must have some big reasons to do what you did, and i am not asking you to tell me. I will support you so, dont worry 😊" he said while comforting me.

I wanted to tell him everything, but couldn't beacuse I was scared of lossing him.

"Thanks Jack!", I said after taking a deep breadth and rubbing my face.

I smiled at him and asked "shall we grab some drinks?", "Yes of course, let me give you something " , I was curious of what he was about to give me . He called for the bartender and said him in a low voice which i was unable to hear.

While the bartender was preparing for whatever Jack asked him to, I looked at Jack and something hit my mind and I amsed Jack in a suspicious tone "Jack, why are you here with me now? where is Clara? ", he looked at me with a surprised look, then gave me a grin and said "we broke up" , I was shocked at what he said "but you love her right?" , he said looking down "well I don't know if i should call it love or obsession, beacuse I dont feel anything special for her anymore. But there is someone that I feel has a special place in my heart " while he said the last sentence he looked at me with a smile.

For a moment I thought that he was referring to me, but then cleared my head that it wasnt true. "Well thats.... good.... I wish that you get the person" I said with a bit of disappointment in my tone.

"Yes of course I will get her very very..... soon " he said while leaning towards me. My cheeks started getting warm when he said that, and I could tell that he saw that as he looked at me with a smirk.

I pushed him with a slight force and said "uhm.... the dr..drinks are here" , he looked to his right, grabbed the drinks and handed me one. It looked bery different, I hadn't seen such drinks before. I asked him "what type drink is this?", he grinned and said "First drink it, then i'll answer you", I raised my left eyebrow while staring at the drink and nodded.

When I gulped the first sip, I was frozen, it taksed so so so damn good that I could wait anymore and gulped the whole drink in one go. "Hah! hah its AMAZING Jack I love it, give me one more !" , "Kezia control yourself " Jack said with a grin on his face. I asked "what is the drink's name tell me plz plz plz!!!", he laughed and answered " It known as Apple Cocktail", I raised my eyebrows and said "Oh wow amazing now its my favourite drink haha", I laughed hard making him laugh too.

Like that we giggled and drank for a while , the time which we were spending there was like a stress free time and I was like a bird flying in the sky with all freedom and carefree. But as I said before good times dont stay for long . A call came to Jack, as he lut out his phone from his side pocked and saw the caller he frowned, for that instant I

thought that it was Clara but I wasn't sure.

He picked up the call and talked in a very serious and tensed tone. I was feeling uncomfortable and wanted to drag him away from that place, but I couldn't such things.

He hanged up, released a big sigh and with a frown on his face he said "Sorry Kezia but I wont be able to spend anymore time together, I have to go. Will be able to go back to your home on your own? ", he seemed concerned, I sighed and patted on his should to relieve him and said "Dont worry I am good I will be able to you go do your work".

He smiled and left while waving me goodbye .

Again I was left alone but I didn't regret it as I spent the most beautiful time with me long lasting crush. After a minute I left that place and got into my car. I drove back to my home. I parked my car outside my house and straight away went inside my room, after washing up, Lily came to my room with some snacks looking at me with a curious face .

"I..... SUCCEEDED" I shouted and we both were jumping on the floor holding hands, releasing out our happiness.

"So you are only left with one person right?"

she asked with smirk on her face.

"Yess only one....my dear sister..... Wait for your turn hehe😈".

he came closer to me, my face, our eyes were tangled to each other, I could see his bright and beautiful eyes which were asking me to kiss him.....he leaned more closer to me...... so close that our lips were just inches away.

*Oh god!!!!* I shouted in my mind and my eyes fully interlocked with his eyes.
