Chapter 4: First Mission. (Part 2)

Astrea's POV

"Wow! For real?!" Kumo responded with a wide smile.

Sean nods and stands up then walk slowly to Kumo.

"Then, I'll come!" Kumo excitedly said while clapping.

Sean smiles and pat Kumo's head.

"But, Big Sis doesn't want you to come." Sean said in a sad tone while still patting Kumo's head.

"Mom..." Kumo said in a sad tone and turn her head on me.

"Kumo, I'm just worried." I replied while looking at her.

"Mom, I'm can handle myself already." Kumo said while pouting.

"Argh. Fine. Fine. But promise me one thing." I responded and squat in front of her.

"Hmm?" She sounded.

"Promise me that when something happened to you, you will not going to attend assassin's school and you will not going to come with Sean anymore and train with him. Got it?" I said in a serious tone and stands up.

"Great! I promised." Kumo replied and hugged me.

"Anyways." I said to change the topic and look at Sean.

"What's the mission that you guys will attend?" I added.

"Ahmm, it's to tail someone." Sean answered.

"But tailing someone is a C rank mission." I asked confusedly.

"Well, It's not a regular tailing mission. We're going to tail a heavy guarded vip and a fight might start if we are careless. Also, I red that the guards are from Keru Clan, a C rank clan. It's suppose to be a C rank mission if the guards are from Deira Clan, a D rank clan, but the vip changed it after hearing that someone will tail them." He answered.

"Then, how can you say that Kumo is reliable on that mission?" I asked.

"Are you underestimating me and my apprentice?" He said while grinning.

"Tch. Fine. But don't forget your promise to me Kumo or else I'll take your dream." I smiled at her and walk away.

"I won't break my promise, Mom!" Kumo shouted. I can hear their celebrating shouts from below while I'm walking upstairs.

"Ah, I guess I need to wake up early tomorrow to prepare for them." I whispered to my mind and shakes my head.

7 hours passed by...

"Shoot! it's already past five!" I shouted and jumped out of the bed after seeing our wall clock. I hurriedly run downstairs after seeing the time to prepare Kumo and Sean's things.

"Good morning Mom." Kumo said while drying her hair using a blower.

"J-just when did the two of you woke up?!" I said in surprise after seeing them and their backpacks ready.

"I woke up earlier than Uncle because of excitement, so I just prepared my bag and wait for Uncle Sean to woke up." Kumo proudly answered.

"Well, can't blame her. She's just like you when Dad take you on your first mission. Hahahaha" Sean said.

"Anyways, do you guys have a bento already?" I asked.

"No, we're honestly waiting you to wake up because of that." Kumo answered.

"Awww, so if one of them know how to make bento, they'll just leave me?" I sadly whispered to my head.

"How about breakfast?" I asked and went to the kitchen to prepare.

"We already ate breakfast, I cooked for us." Sean said while fixing his clothes in front of the mirror.

"Oh, okay." I said and start to prepare their bento.

After cooking and arranging their bentos, I called Sean and Kumo to put their bentos on their bag.

"Wow, this looks great!" Kumo said after opening her bento.

"Oh? Hahahaha." I said then laugh.

"That's good that you know how to balance your bag." I added after looking her bag.

"Ahm, to be honest, she's about to carry a trolley bag but I stopped her becau--" Sean didn't continued his word when Kumo jumped in.

"because even on the mission, assassins should carry their bags." Kumo said in a boring look.

"Well, well, enough of that. You guys need to go so that you guys can still prepare." I said and accompany them to the gate.

"Oh? So Daryll will give you guys a ride?" I said while grinning.

"Hahahaha." Sean laughed and faced me.

"All right! Goodbye now. Take care both of you." I said while smiling.

"Bye Mom." Kumo said.

"Bye Big Sis." Sean said.

"Bye! Kumo, don't forget your promise, okay?" I said while waving. They both wave back with a smile on their face and enter the van.

"Aye! Alright. Go back to Home's work." I said and enter our residence.

Ara Kumo's POV

After saying our goodbyes to each other, me and Uncle Sean enter a black van. There are 3 man-in-black are outside the van and after we came in they all came in too.

"Mr. Evans, Master Daryll send us to bring you in the different location for the preparation." The man-in-black in the driver's seat said.

"Oh, great! Then we'll be in your care." Uncle Sean said and give them a smile. After that, man-in-black in the driver's seat starts the car.

While in the ride, Uncle Sean didn't stop looking at his phone as if he's talking to someone.

"Uncle Sean." I said while looking at him.

"What is it?" He said and looks at me.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Ahh, just talking to someone." He answered then smile at me awkwardly. Hmm, suspicious.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"Ah? Hahahahaha. It's Daryll." He said while giving me an awkward smile.

"Who's Daryll?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Ahmm, how should I put this... Well, he's a child maniac and..." He answered while still keeping his awkward smile.

"He's so obsessed with children so... Watch out later." He added and look at his phone again.

"Tch. So boring." I whispered to my head and closed my eyes.

"Oii, little Ara." He said while patting my shoulder.

"Hmmm, ah, oh, I fell asleep." I said and rub my eyes.

"Where are we?" I added.

"We're here. In our meeting place." Uncle Sean said while removing his seatbelt.

"Oh?" I sounded.

"Go remove yours and we'll move." He said then pick our bags and get out of the van.

I removed my seatbelt and get out of the car too. That's when I realized that we're in front of a small house, surrounded by trees. A guy in black suit came out of the house and go in our location.

"It's been a long time, Sean." The guy in black suit said.

"Yeah, it is." Uncle Sean said and the two of them give each other a brofist. After giving each other a brofist, the guy in black suit looks at me and gave me a wide smile.

"Daryll, No." Uncle Sean said and shakes his head.

"But..." The guy in black said wile giving Uncle Sean a pout.

"He's disgusting. Tch--" I didn't finished my word when the guy in black suit approached me so fast. He's about to give me a hug when my adrenaline rushed, my arm stretched and my palm opened so quick and hard, giving my palm a strong pressured attack. I'm about to land it on the guy in black suit's chest when Uncle Sean suddenly pat my arm and instead of the guy in black suit's chest, the pressure landed on the surface giving the surface a shallow hole.

"I warned you to not--" Uncle Sean didn't finished his words when the guy in black suit speak.

"You must be Astrea's child. Wonderful!" the guy said.

"I'm Daryll. Nice to meet you, my child." he added while giving me a grin.

"T-this maniac is m-my Dad?!" I shockingly whispered in my mind.
