Chapter 1

As the wind flows alongside the sunshine against the warm checks of a human girl, the merman clan trembles. The young women awoke in very thin clothing in the middle of spring. She stood at the side of the lake looking at where she was and how did she got here. As the wind blew a chilling breeze towards her directions, she walked away to find shelter. The farther she walked the darker it had gotten. She then finally reached an abandoned place where she had heard muffled voices. The women slightly pushed the door open and saw that there were women tied up inside. They were crying and begging to be saved. The women had seen that the other girls needed help and went back outside and tried to think of an idea. “Hey! What are you doin-” A man’s voice was heard. The women then turned around and looked at him in fear and tried to run off. “Beauty, where are you going?” The strange man said in a perverted tone. The perverted man then suddenly catches the woman's hands and smells it. She pulled her hand back and pushed the perverted man away from her but he then grabbed her legs and put her over his shoulders. She cried and hit the perverted man as he pushed the door open. “Older brother, you got another woman?” A guy with a rough voice said. The perverted man then turned around. “Yes, isn’t she beautiful?” The perverted man says and shows his younger brothers her face. “Beautiful indeed!” They cheered and laughed. He then dropped the women on the hay bed. “Now stop bothering me. I have some business to do.” The perverted man spoke and looked at the beauty. “Beauty.” The perverted man said and walked closer to the beauty. He then jumped on her and tried to push her down. She struggled with her strength and tried her best to push the perverted man away. “Beauty, don't be shy.” He said and began pulling her clothings apart. Before the situation had gotten out of hand the doors flung open and the sound of swords clanging was heard. The perverted man stood up and grabbed his sword next to the hay bed and began to fight with the intruders. The woman crawled on the floor and into a corner as she heard the swords rattle in the distance. She covered her ears frightened and afraid of the sound.

As the swords clang against each other a handsome man then entered the abandoned building. The handsome man then walked around looking at what was happening here as the bad guys were taken down by his guards. Another handsome man then walked up to him and bowed his head and spoke, “Your majesty, the human traffickers are all here. Except for their boss, Tang Hu.” His majesty then looked at his guard and said, “Chase after him.” The man nodded and took a few other guards with him and began the chase. “Untie the girls and set them free.” His majesty said and the guards did as he ask. “Check if there is anyone else here and tie the traffickers hands and drag them along with us.” He spoke again and walked outside.

After what seemed to be forever, she then let go of her hands and tried to walk with her stumbling legs to get help. As she leaned on the closed door, her legs then finally gave out. She closed her eyes and fainted as she fell.

Before his majesty could get into his carriage he went back to inspect the place one last time. Finishing the outside inspection he opened the door and was hit with something hard. He fell on his back holding onto something fragile and was shock by the fall. “Your majesty!” The guards yelled running towards his majesty. “Stop.” His majesty commanded and he grabbed the fragile thing in his arms and looked down only to see a delicate girl. “Your majesty, do yo-“ The guard spoke half way. “No need.” His majesty said and walked with her in his arms into his carriage.
