What Am I To You ?

Lily in her room wondering why she feels so comfortable around Chen. At first she used to be disgusted by seeing his face but now she feels lively with his presence. Lily closed her eyes to sleep and she saw Chen. She woke up in fear

Lily's POV :

Why do I see this Monster when I close my eyes ? Have I fallen in love with him ? No, I don’t love him. But then why does my heart beat so fast when I see him ? I can't have this feelings for Chen because it'll only break my heart. Chen is a gangster. He's not a family man. He don’t respect women. He'll only use me for time pass and will threw me away when he gets bored of me. He won't treat me more than a mistress.

Am I crazy ? Why do I want to be in a relationship with him ? I just want to be free. I already am satisfied with my revenge. I just want a peaceful life.

It's too late to stop my feelings. I just have to suppress them. To stop Lily's wild thoughts she decided to watch some Korean dramas.

After watching Korean Drama 'My Id Is Gangam beauty' she felt more single. She wondered why can't Chen Xiao can be like Do keong seok.

Lily now was bored. She went in the kitchen without troubling anybody and started investigating the fridge. Suddenly she felt a cold chill behind her. She looked behind to confirm. She screamed in fear when Chen was there staring at her.

" Ahhh, Why are you scaring me ? "

" What are you doing in the midnight like a thief ? "

" I wasn’t sleepy so I came to eat something. What are you doing here ? "

" I came here to get a lighter. "

" You smoke ? "

" If you aren’t sleepy you can come with me ? "

Chen started smoking in the balcony of his room. Lily disliked smoking but when Chen does it she doesn’t mind it. She's just worried about his health.

" Do you smoke everyday ? "

" No, I'm not a chain smoker. "

After smoking one cigarette Chen went to take another but Lily hold his hand.

" You shouldn’t take more. It's not good for you. "

" Fine. I won't take more if you smoke one on behalf of me. "

Lily took a cigarette nervously. Chen lightened it. Lily didn’t knew how to breath when smoking so she started coughing. Chen threw the cigarette.

" Yuck, It's bitter. "

" Why did you take it if you can't handle it ? "

" Sorry, Chen. Can I ask you a question ? "

" What ? "

" You have a lot of businesses. If you stop being in the Gang then will you face financial losses ? "

" No, But they will kill me. "

" But you're the Gang Leader. "

" We took an oath. We can't break it. Why do you ask that ? "

" Just General knowledge. "

" I would never leave the gang. It saved my life. "

Chen is getting stronger physically because of the Gang. But his mental strength is gone.

" How many girlfriend did you had ? "

Chen pushed Lily to the edge of balcony " What are you ? An interviewer. "

" I'm just curious about your lifestyle. "

" I didn’t expect myself to be in a relationship until I saw you. "

Lily flushed after hearing it. " R.. Really.. "

Chen stepped back " But I was wrong. "

" What ? "

" It's getting late. Go to sleep. "

" I got my answer. Good night Chen. "

Neither Chen or Lily are ready to face their feelings. Chen having second doubts about Lily is making him hurt. And Lily thinking Chen doesn't take her as an person is breaking her heart. In the end both of them are suffering.

Lily went to bed. Why am I such a fool ? The reason of his interest towards me is because he takes me as a challenge. I used to resist him which made his furious. Now that I wanna get close to him. He lost interest. He doesn’t want me anymore. Did he get to know that I like him ? All this thoughts made her night unbearable.

In The Morning :

Lily woke up late. She hurriedly got ready and ran downstairs. Chen was eating breakfast calmly. Lily's shoelace wasn’t tied. She was a walking mess. She took an apple and started running .

" Where are you running in the morning ? "

" I'm late for my class. Where's my car ? "

" I gave an leave to all the drivers. "

" What ? Then you will drop me. "

Chen raised his eyebrows " Do you think I have time for charity ? "

Lily knew Chen was deliberately annoying her " First you gave me a car so that I can become dependent on you. Now when I need it you won't give me to claim that I'm a gold digger. "

Chen started laughing " You watched too many soap opera. "

" Shut up. You just want to drive me crazy. "

" No, I don’t want to drive you anywhere. "

" Do you think you’re funny ? I'm sitting in your car and you'll drive me. "

Chen and Lily sat at the car and driving to the University. On the whole ride Chen was continuously laughing.

" Stop laughing. "

They reached. The University gate was closed. Lily asked the guard about it.

" Maam, It's the weekend. "

Lily looked behind and Chen laughing uncontrollably. Lily felt like a fool then she started laughing too.

" Why didn’t you said anything ? "

" How could I when you make such many speculations ? "

" Laugh all you want. "
