Chapter 13:Bloodshed

In just an hour Nataro found the bandits' base.The base is a large camp surrounded by small camps and campfires. Currently many bandits are stationed outside. Nataro quickly wears his mask and pulls out his sword and charges onto the base. The bandits would notice Nataro and try to kill him but Nataro easily kills them with his sword "Your brute forces is nothing compare to Hattori Kenjutsu technique", he taunted. More bandits noticee Nataro as he uses Lightning style Hattori Kenjutsu: Thunderstrike that easily kills them. He then enters the camp and more bandits appear to kill him but all of them are killed by Nataro in a few moves "It seems my training has paid off all this time", he thought.

Nataro continues and finally reaches the main camp. The chief then finally decides to reveal himself, he is a tall man with muscular body and he has many scars on his face and body. He then finally pulled out his large kanabo "So this is the shinobi who killed many of my men. A little boy with an oni mask". "So you are the bastard who attacked the village!",Nataro replied. "Oh, so you're to avenge them", "Well I can't deny that I had a lot of fun killing those villagers and of course especially that young beautiful woman that I had fun with", "Ah yes she's the patriach's daughter. What a shame she is too weak eventhough I wanted to have fun with her more".

Frustrated by the chief's words he immediately attacks the chief but he is able to block the attacks. The chief then use his large kanabo to attack Nataro but he dodge it easily and he attacks the chief once more by using Wind style Hattori Kenjutsu:Whirlwind summoning swirling whirlwinds but it barely scratch him. "So this is the power of a shinobi, how weak", the chief spoke. "Looks like using light and swift attacks won't work on you but I have technique that is perfect against your brute strength",Nataro replied. Nataro then charge directly towards the chief, as he uses Stone style Hattori Kenjutsu:Cut Crushing Rock as the chief tries to block the attack but Nataro's attack was able to break his defenses and injure the chief.

"Looks like I underestimated you, alright I'm going all out", the chief spoke as he uses his kanabo to attack Nataro. Despite using a heavy kanabo he is able to swing it consecutively and swiftly like swinging a sword, Nataro dodges the attacks but the kanabo almost hits him multiple times and Nataro notices that the kanabo not just the speed but the strength of the swings is strong enough to crush a man completely. "The chief is indeed someone not to be underestimated, his brute strength is on a different level", spoke Nataro. The chief keeps attacking Nataro but he keeps dodging it and Nataro finally decides to counter the attacks by using Water style Hattori Kenjutsu:Strike of Flowing River and hits the chief's kanabo. The kanabo then hits back towards the chief's head and end up killing him, he then cuts off his head and throws it to the other bandits.The remaining bandits upon seeing the chief's severed head tries to escape but Nataro chases them and kill all the remaining bandits. When he finishes the bandits camp the sunrise shines upon the camp that is covered in blood, as that night a shinobi kills a whole camp of 104 bandits. "This is for everyone all of you killed especially miss Koyomi",spoke Nataro. Nataro then returns to the village to meet his brother.

As he returns to the village he sees his brother burying miss Koyomi's body and the patriach's body, Nataro then decides to help. After they finished burying the patriach and miss Koyomi's bodies. Nataro then asks Jino "Is it my fault that the village is attacked by the bandits? Am I the cause of their death?", he asked in a gloomy tone. Jino unable to answer stayed silent.

Jino then stands up and says "I have decided that I will train myself to be stronger to protect those who I care". Our path is different brother, I think that we should split up, If you still intent to take such path then I can hope that you may survive until the next time we meet", Jino warned. That day Jino and Nataro takes their seperate paths since that day as Jino decides to goes to Azumato to train himself to be stronger while Nataro heads towards Kishin the land rules by the Fuuma clan to fulfill his path of vengeance. Nataro's long journey has just begun.

Information:Hattori Kenjutsu Styles

Wind Style:Concentrates on range and swift attacks, this style often used when facing multiple opponents at once or opponents with range weapons. This style is the easiest to learn.

Stone Style:Concentrates on strength, this style is often used against brutes or enemies with strong defenses as this style could break enemies defense.

Water Style:Concentrates on defense, this style is often used against stronger enemies as this style are able to counter enemy attacks by channeling their attacks back to them. This style is the most common style that is used by the Hattori clan other than the wind style.

Fire Style:Concentrates on offense, this style is often used when facing multiple enemies, armoured enemies, and stronger enemies. This style are able to give more damage, range, and heat against enemies. This style is the most difficult to master due to its high risk on getting injured by the flames.
