Chapter 18:Kishin

Nataro continue his travels to Kishin. As he travels during the day he dresses up as a traveler and help farmers, so he could earn money while he hunts shinobi for Intel and supplies at night.

As he wore his black cloak and Oni mask, the people start calling him as the Onikage. The shadow who wears an oni mask and hunts down shinobi at night.

The rumours of the Onikage spreads like wildfire in Kishin.

Nataro finally arrived in Kishin after 2 weeks and decides to stay in a village.

"So we finally arrived in Kishin", Nataro thought.

"Excuse me, can you tell me if there is a nearby inn?", Nataro asked a local man.

The local man points Nataro the location and leaves.

Nataro then goes to the location and enters the inn. He decided to stay in the inn for a few days, so he could gather information the current situation in Kishin.

Nataro then decides to enter a ramen shop and eats some ramen while eavesdropping others conversations.

Based on the conversations Kishin is currently on a rough situation since the Fuuma clan succeed to destroy the Hattori clan 3 years ago, The Fuuma has begun to force local clans to join them but most of them refused, and they got destroyed by the Fuuma clan.

Previously there was a total of 17 clans in Kishin, but now they have been reduced to a total of 6 clans which are the Fuuma clan, Tachibana clan, Kurama clan, Oboro clan, Akatsuki clan, and Mizuki clan who are competing against each other.

The Fuuma has destroyed 6 clans for the last 3 years and due to fear 5 clans have joined them and this makes the Fuuma clan the biggest clan in Nihon.

Also based on the information there are currently 3 shinobi grandmasters in the Fuuma clan, and they are Fushikage Fuuma the current head of Fuuma clan, Koji Fuuma a taijutsu prodigy, and Kentaro Fuuma also known as Raijin the fastest shinobi in Nihon.

But currently Kentaro is currently assigned in Nishikata to negotiate with the Iwata clan.

"Maybe I should approach one of the clans to go against the Fuuma clan", Nataro thought.

"Within the 5 clans the Oboro clan seems to be the strongest, but rumors are saying they got supported by the Fuuma clan, the Kurama clan are known to be uncooperative unless they are forced to, the Mizuki clan and the Akatsuki clan are barely standing against the Fuuma clan, so all that is left are the Tachibana clan, but they are currently in conflict against the Oboro clan. There could also be a possibility that the Fuuma and the Oboro are working together against the Tachibana", Nataro thought.

Nataro then thinks if he indeed approaches the Tachibana clan, but that would mean going against the Oboro clan but if the Oboro clan is indeed working together with the Fuuma clan then this would mean that cooperating with the Tachibana clan to be the best choice for him.
