Chapter 5: After School

After we got back to class Ms.Hanna started talking about clubs and how everyone should join them. I personally don't have any interest in any clubs. I rather go home or hang out with my friends. I am honestly a boring person but I don't really have an issue with that right now and after that, the dismissal bell rang. I was going to talk to Luke but he was already gone when I was looking for him I guess he already left. But I guess I will start to head home first while I was walking out of class I saw Blake. “Hey Blake let's start to head home” Blake seems to be down “Hey Jason actually wanna go to the arcade I don’t feel like going home right now.” I was surprised because Blake normally likes to go straight home after school.”Sure I have nothing better to do but what's wrong.” Blake started to say” My family is just fighting with each other and I don't feel like going home right now.” I didn't know how to respond with that because I'm the only one at home all the time.” So which arcade do you want to go to.” Let's go to the big one downtown”. I was thinking it was a little far but it should be fine. Blake doesn't want to go home so I will just accompany him for a little while.

While we were on the subway it was a little awkward because Blake was the talkative type who always made jokes and stuff. “Hey Blake, since downtown wanna go get some food later I'm too lazy to cook later.” Blake cheerfully said ”Sure but you're treating me then” He seemed to be cheered up a little bit. “Hmm if you pay for food then you're paying for my game card later hehe.” He seems to be happier “Ok Blake let's get off the station before we miss our stop.” Blake said “Yea yea sorry for bringing down the mood earlier.” I hung my arm around his shoulder and said: “ Don't worry about it man it is not a big deal let's go already after all your paying for my game card.” After we walk a couple of minutes we go to the arcade and it looks different and way bigger. “Hey Blake, did the arcade get renovated over the summer? I haven't been here all summer.” Blake said, “Yea if you thought it was big before it was even bigger it has over 200 machines inside.” “Are you kidding me over 200 games alright let's go and have some fun then.” After we got in, Blake went to the counter and got us gaming cards. “Here you go Jason we can play as many games as we want for 2 hours.” “Thanks, man, let's game our troubles away then.” After we played the game for half an hour. I saw a really cute Asian girl over there with long lush black hair wearing a shirt with a sweater I didn't know why I was just staring at her and just took my breath away by her looks Blake was trying to talk to me “What are you looking at you been staring at for a long time” “Oh it's nothing” I want to go over there and ask for her number but I don't have the guts to I never had a boyfriend before. Blake said “Ahh I see you like her don't you” “Don't talk nonsense how can I like a girl I just saw over there I just thought she was really pretty.” Blake said “ You just don’t have the guts to ask for her number don’t worry I will ask her for you buddy” “Wait no don't you dare” Blake started to walk over to the girl and talk to her she was giggling and looking at me but nevertheless she is very cute. Blake started to walk back “Hey Jason she's totally into you “ “Wait what I never had a girlfriend before and why would you go and talk to her.” The girl started to walk over here while I was freaking out.
