Chapter 2: Homeroom

I finally took a breath after I ran to the school’s gate. I checked my watch and it was 8:50 I thought I was going to be late. I looked around and realized this school was huge. I'm going to have a hard time finding my homeroom. I went to my phone to the school’s app. Oh, this is neet the school app has a GPS to everywhere let follow the GPS, and hopefully, I don’t get lost. While following the GPS I saw how big the school was. It had a lot of things like an indoor swimming pool, a huge cafeteria, a three-story library, and over 200 clubs with their own clubrooms. While being amazed by the school I realized that I was going to be late but luckily I founded my classroom. I walked in and saw that everything was brand new and modern while looking around I saw one of my childhood friends Kimberly I went over there and said “Hey Kimberly I guess we are going to be in the same class this year “ Ohh hey Jason how have you been I see that you got your expensive outfit on” Kimberly said while talking to her I noticed something different thinking in my head did Kimberly dye her hair blonde over the summer I said, “ Yea I got this new outfit it’s not that fancy did you dye your hair over the summer.” Kimberly said “ Ohh so you're not that dense to realize that I have dyed my hair. I’m plus what are you talking about not expensive boy you are wearing a full designer from head to toe probably a $2000 outfit” Whatever you say Kimberly I like to wear whatever I like so don’t judge. Whatever I’m going to take a seat now I went to take a seat in the back of the classroom next to a window. The teacher walks in “Hello class I am your homeroom teacher Ms.Hanna and I also teach world history too I hope we will get along this year with a classroom of 20 people in it I am going to call role now please say hear when I call your name, please.”While Ms.Hanna is calling role I looked around and realized there are only 6 boys and 14 girls in the classroom thinking why are there so few boys in the class. Ms.Hanna called my name “Is Jason Chan here” I quickly said “Here” I thought in my head hopefully might high school life would be fun and carefree but after roll call, Ms.Hanna started to explain the rules and how our school is the best in California and told us that only 2 years ago did the school started letting boys join that’s why there aren’t many boys. The lunch bell finally rang and a couple of girls came up to me asking if I would like to join them. In my head, I was kinda freaking out that a couple of cute girls are asking me to eat with them while looking around I saw a boy over there and he looked quite lonely over there and I asked “ Hey do you mind if we ask the boy over there if he wants to join us'' one of the girls said “Eww no he looks so poor like look at his clothes and his backpack he obviously looks poor “ While listening to them talk bad about a person they don't know I said, “ Sorry ladies let take a rain check maybe another day.” The girls said “ Awww whatever let's go girls” I got up and went to the boy that was sitting by himself.
