Ophelia's pov:

I was like really nervous today since I have to meet Teng fei's family, I had a really hard time choosing what I should wear but I choose I nice blue red turtle neck dress with a black long coat, my hair in a high ponytail, my black heels, my purse and my diamond earing. I decided to go natural for my makeup with only lip balm and some eyeliner.

I heard the door bell rang, I quickly walk downstairs and open the door "You look pretty tonight" he handed me some roses "Thank you" I lay them on the table "Shall we go?" he held my hand "We shall" I took his hand before walking to his car. I was like really nervous the whole ride but what made me nervous is when the car stopped, he helped me out of the car before leading me inside some fancy restaurant.

After telling the receptionist his name he held me to a VIP room I guess, as we entered there was a huge round table with food with alot of people. Teng fei said something in Chinese which caught their attention a girl then spoke to something to me Chinese which I was clueless "Guys please speak English so she can understand" Teng fei announced "She kinda looks cute when she's clueless" Li jing said "Oh my if it isn't my little flower" I looked to see the cool grandma I met at the mall "You know her?" Li jing asked "Of course, I met her at the mall where she helped me along with her siblings relive my old days, then showed me what's like to be young in this time" they were like shock.

"You see she even did my makeup and helped me dress" she showed a picture of us "I introduced me to some arcade games and street dancing where I totally won" she told them "Wow! grandma I never thought you would have met her" Temg fei said "Come sit" he pulled me to sit "Uncle fei, where is she from?" a boy looked in a early teenage year asked "She's from right here but belong to Egyptian mom and a afro-American dad" he spoke "Which part of Egypt your mother is from?" the boy asked me "She's from Cairo, Egypt" I said "You look almost like Queen Nefertiti but with blue eyes, have you ever visit Egypt?" he asked again.

"Yes my grandparents live there so I visit every summer ot sometime they visit" I said "Ok kejim that's enough questions for now" I guess the lady was his mother "But mom I really want to know more" he whine "You can ask her later" she told him "So, ophelia what do you do for a living?" a man asked looking exactly like Teng fei I guess that was his dad "I'm a makeup artist" I said "Uncle she's the one that did that rainbow makeup on me" Li mei spoke "I remember when Tiana was like eager to meer that makeup artist" he spoke "Where is she?" a girl shouted looking pure American "I'm right here" I said nervously "OMG can you do my makeup?!" she shouted "Yes, you can come monday if you like" I said.

"You get along with them pretty well" Teng fei whispered in my ear "Yeah I kinda so" I whispered back. I had alot of fun with his family especially kejim who is quite funny and was roasting Teng fei, we bid our goodbyes before leaving. Stopping at my house Teng fei spoke "You met everyone except my stepmother which was good" he smiled "Why?" I asked "I hate her and Tiana her daughter, my stepsister. Since mom went into a come dad remarried and never look back to see how she was doing. Mom was lucky she had a rich family who cared for her, her sisters wanted to take me with them that night but dad refused and moved from china and came here and build his empire" his was crying at this point.

"Mom's sisters blamed Li jing for mom being sick the day she was born so they tried everything to hurt her but dad would always protect her which I was thankful for. My stepmother on the other hand was really greedy for money she even once try to convince my grandparents she should leave their will in her name since then they suspected she was like some psycho who would do anything for money. Ths only only two wish I had was for you to stay by my side till death and for my mother to wake up" he said "I hope that too, that she'll wake up healthy and happy to see her kids again" I gave him a hug. After sometime he calmed down "I love you" he said "I love you too" I gave him a quick kiss before leaving the car and quickly run inside blushing. I have to find out about this stepmother of his!.
