Episode 17

Ophelia's pov:

Weekends were like vacation for me and my siblings because our parents allows is to go to Arcades, malls and movie theaters but this time we choosed shopping "Ophelia, what would look better? this red or blue nike?" we were currently in the nike store looking for the coolest and latest sneakers.

"I like the blue more" I told him which he agreed to. After getting paying for our stuff, we went to the jordans store as my sister wasn't a fan of nike so much "How does this black and gold one look?" she asked "It suits you" I told her "This store is for like younger adults not some grandma!" we heard someone yelling at the front, as we came we saw an woman looking in her 70's "What's going on here?" I asked "This old woman comes in here saying she wants to look young again" some dumb people, the lady just wants to relive her young days.

"Just come over here and we'll help you" I softly drag her to the corner "So, what kind of jordans you like?" I asked "I want the red with my matching white track suit" I will admit tjis asian grandma has better fashion sense then me "Come I'll show you" we took her to the shelves. We ended up helping this cool asian grandma except my brother who was outside waiting for us, she was looking young again with her Dimond rope chain with her nickname 'High five' , her white puma track suit, her red jordans, her red bean hat and her sunglasses. "Dang! granny you look dope!" my brother complimented her "Thanks,brother" she even know the slang.

"You guys are coming with me to have fun!" we couldn't reject this cool grandma so why not?!. We ended doing eating some great amount of junk food as according to granny her husband always have with the veggies. "Let's go bowling, I haven't tried that in years!" we then ended up bowling our life away with this cool grandma. "I want to do some freestyle dancing with those kids" she drag us to the group of kids "Hey granny, what you got? neddle and thread" the young teens teased her "No, I got old school moves" just then the song "Everybody dance now!' came on.

And granny was like a shuffle pro, she then was spinning on her hands and doing some really awesome moves. "Damm granny, you slay!" the kids say as they flock around her. I couldn't explain how much fun we had today with this cool grandma, the moon was already hanging sky so I offered grandma a drive home which she accepted. I must say she has a big house "Thanks for today kids, you made me so happy" she thanked us "Your welcome amd remember to text me tonight" my sister told her "You bet kid, see you around" she waved "Bye" with that I drove away from there.

Later that night I was exhausted from packing out all those stuff we bought and took a refreshing shower I plop myself on the bed that's until my phone rings, I just picked it up with out look at the caller's ID "This time of the night I'm not available" I said tiredly "Not even for your boyfriend" I shot up as I heard his deep voice "I thought it was sofia or Diana" I said "Have you even check your caller's ID before picking up?" he asked "No anyways I had an eventful day today" I said "What's so eventful about it?" he asked "I met this awesome grandma today and she's like a rebellious and really funny" I laughed "That's nice but I wanted to invite you to dinner with my family this friday" wait what?! "Y..your...f...family" I stuttered.

"Yeah, I kinda mentioned you to them and they are very eager to meet you" ahhhh! his family?! I cant do this "Sure I'll be there" I said "Good I'll pick you up at seven and also in the morning to take you to work" he said "Ok then, I'll see you tomorrow then" I said "I love you, bye" with that he hanged up. What should I wear to this dinner? how should I eat? how should I greet them?.
