Episode 16

Ophelia's pov:

I can't believe mom invited Teng fei over for dinner, it going to be so embarrassing. I mean my boyfriend will have dinner with us without my parents knowing we're together and on top of that I have some really crazy siblings. Yesterday which was Monday, Teng fei pick me just to carry me to work while my parent were at home but I guessed they didn't notice.

I snapped out of my thought as I heard the door bell ring, crap he's here. I quickly went downstairs to open the door but my brother beat me to it "Hi bro, what's up?" they hugged "I'm fine" my brother just move so he could come is, I just joined my sister on the couch "Mind explaining this?" my sister showed me a picture of Teng fei and I kissing "Where did you get that?" I ask in disbelief "Sofia gave me all the details" she smirk "Just do anything for me and I'll keep your secret from dad" she said before walking to the dining room.

As I came in the dining room Teng fei face lit up "Come on guys! Have a seat and stop the chatting" as mom said that I try to find a seat far from Teng fei but he end up next to me still. In middle of dinner Teng fei held my hand under the table, I try to let go but his hand were like steel "Ophelia, mind passing me the hot sauce?" I choke on my food at how this brat was controlling "Sure thing" I gave her a fake smile "Goodgirl, your secret will always be safe with me" she she deliberately said that out loud.

"What secret?" Dad asked "She has a boyfriend" Teng fei choked on his drink "But don't worry he's a good man right, Teng fei" I'm now currently speechless "Hi, Mr. Roberts" that was the only thing Teng fei could have said "Stay right here, I'll be back!" he left the dining room, odd "Prepare to become sushi" my brother said. Dad then came back with a baseball bat "How dare you claim my daughter without my concent?! Now I'll show you the consequences!" I grab Teng fei's hand before running out of the dining area to the kitchen.

"Dad please calm down!" I try to reason with him "Can you excuse I have to crush something?" he continued, he then start running again. We're now in the living room with dad trying hid best to get a hold of Teng fei "If I can't catch you on foot then I'll fly, and make note I learned karate and gymnastics in my younger days" he dropped the bat. He went a little distance before start flicking forward but landed on his back on the center table. The table then broke down with dad "Dad, are you okay?" I asked "Ahh! my back hurts" his voice came out like a crying donkey and I couldn't help but laugh "Buahahahah, He love kug fu fighting but his back end up hurting" my brother laughed "Oh my- honey are you okay?" mom said as she helped him up.

After putting some ice pack on Dad's back, he sat us down in his study "Now because of you I have back pain" he pointed at Teng fei "I'm really sorry, mr. Roberts" he apologized "When did you both start dating?" he asked "I only confessed to her on Saturday night, I guess it has been 3 days" Teng fei spoke "Do you love her?" like is this man serious "Yes I do with all my heart" he said happily "Good then I have some conditions. No sexual intercourse until your both married. No lies in this relationship and No funny businesses especially you!" he pointed to Teng fei "You have my blessings, Huang Teng fei" I am literally happy right now.

As we came out of Dad's study mom was standing there smirking at us "Don't worry I already gave him my blessings a long time ago" she smiled "When?!" I asked "It's a secret anyways please drive safely home Mr. Huang" she wink at us before leaving, I walled Teng fei to his car and told him Good night but he won't leave my hand "You've forgotten something" he pulled me to his chest before capturing my lip with his after sometime we pulled away "I'll see you tomorrow I love you. Good night" he waved as he got in his car while I blushed. He's driving me crazy!!!.
