Chapter 2: Mysterious Encounter With A Wolf

This story takes place in a country named Yinxu, Alia is now in Kora City, the capital of Yinxu Kingdom. Among the various cities are tribes, each tribe depending on species has a Chief who is the most strongest and powerful. These Chiefs are second to the King, thus are highly respected amongst the animas and can also compete for the throne.

“I am here for you. You are the chosen one to become my wife, Princesszehn.”

He had a serious look on his face when he said that. I was surprised and confused at the same time but I was still thinking of how handsome he was. Finally, I got myself together and said, “What do you mean by that? Are you crazy?”

“It is exactly what you heard. You are fated to become my wife and I your husband.” He said with a stern face.

“Me, your wife? But I don’t even know you or your name.” I looked down in his hand and remembered he had my ring. If I could get it I would be able to get out of here and teleport back to my world. “Give me back my ring. That belongs to me!” I shouted.

He looked down on the ring in his hand and with a playful smirk he said, “If you want this ring you’ll have to follow me to talk.”

I wasn’t just going to follow him, it was an obvious trap. Who knows what he might do, he might end up kidnapping me or maybe beat me up. You can’t always trust a pretty face, if the city taught me one thing is to never trust anybody so easily. But I have to get my ring to go back to my world.

“Fine then, I’ll follow you. But at least tell me your name. My name is Alia.” I say confidently.

“Ah, a beautiful name fit for a Princesszehn. Pardon me for not introducing myself Miss Alia, my name is Hiroka Lobus. I’m the Chief of the Wolf Tribe.” He looked at me with a gentle smile.

A Chief, so he’s the leader of the Wolf Tribe. But what does he want with me and why does he keep calling me Princesszehn. Is it a Princess, but I’m not a Princess. This guys got a loose screw somewhere, what a pity that he’s got a handsome face and body.

“So where are we going Mr. Hiroka.” I started walking towards him. He also turned around to lead the way.

“We’re going to head back to the Wolf Tribe where I will explain everything.” He said.

To the Wolf Tribe, but if I go there I’ll have no way of escaping. What should I do I need to think of a plan quickly. Suddenly I tripped on tree root and next thing I know, I’m on the ground flat on my face. “Owww my precious face.” I said while I was trying to get up.

“Are you okay.” Hiroka, who was in front of me, was by my side offering me his hand so that I could get up. As I was trying to get up a sharp pain coursed through my leg and I fell back down in my knees. It was my ankle, it got injured when I tripped. “I think I injured my ankle.”

Hiroka looked at me and then turned his head the other way. He then squatted and reached out for me with both of his arms he carried me. He carried me like a princess, I was embarrassed and could feel my face getting red. I lowered my gaze, my heart was beating fast.

Then I thought that this would be the perfect moment to get my ring back. I saw him put the ring in a little pocket in his chest. I reached out and placed my hand in his chest, he looked down at me and I think I saw him blush a little that he quickly faced forward again.

A few moments later I successfully managed to retrieve my ring without him noticing. As he was walking I could see a bunch of houses, that must be the Wolf Tribe. I was still being embraced in his huge arms, but I had to go.

“It was nice meeting you, Hiroka.” I said. He looked at me with a confused face as I proceeded to put on the ring.

“Wait, how’d you get that?”

In a blink of an eye, I was radiating white light.

“What’s happening? What is this?” I heard him say in a panicked tone. And then I disappeared.

Note: The name Hiroka means lord; genius; intellectual and brilliant. The scientific name of a wolf is canis lupus and that’s why I used Lobus which in spanish, wolf is lobo. I merged them together.

Also animas are the animal-human people, that’s what they’re called.
