Enemies?

Yuna's POV

...

Here we are now, walking on the street while looking at the fascinating city lights of Seoul at night. What are we doing here? Well, Sunghoon immediately dragged me outside of my house saying that he will take me to Aira's place while the lights in my house are getting fix, he said it would be better for me if I'll stay at my friend's house for the night than to stay there and wait for my phobia to attack me again.

It's a good idea actually so I agreed with him. I can manage to go to Aira by myself but this Sunghoon here doesn't want me to go there alone. I really don't understand him, one minute he's a jerk and then suddenly become a gentleman, caring and boyfriend material. Wait, why the hell did I say he's a boyfriend material?

Scratch that.

Just like the last time at the park, we didn't talk and just walk. But I'm curious over something, I want to ask him some serious questions especially about the kiwi juice thing but i'm hesitating to do it. What if it turns out into an awkward conversation? I keep stealing glances at his side profile every minute. Damn I should stop this. I thought to myself focusing my attention to the people walking around but then after five seconds my eyes goes to him because I felt like he's looking at m--

Shit, he is.

"What?"

"Stealing glances is not the right thing to do if you want to know something, ask me." He stopped walking and faced me. So he have noticed it. I stopped too and faced him.

He's right.

"I thought you wouldn't notice." I muttered looking away then back to him "Um, Sunghoon.." I paused, unsure if should I continue or not but I already started it, so there's no turning back. He looked so calm and ready to answer whatever i'm going to ask him. "Did you snea--"

"Yuna?"

My words was interrupted by someone suddenly calling my name. I snapped my head to where I think the voice came from.

Julius. Such a small world.

"Oh, hey Julius!" I greeted him with wide smile which he quickly returned it.

"Hey. Where are you going at this time?" He asked in concern as he walked closer to us before his eyes travel to Sunghoon who's standing right next to me and I was confused because there face suddenly became serious as they intensely stare at each other.

Can someone tell me what's wrong here?

"Right, um this is Julius my friend." I gently nudged Sunghoon's arm chuckling nervously, breaking the tension I don't know what kind of a tension is. Why the sudden change of behavior? Are they enemies?  because it looks like they are hungry tigers who's ready to kill each other at anytime.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Julius." Julius smirked as he raised his hand for handshake. What's with that smirk? Sunghoon looked down to his hand for a few seconds before he grabbed it and slightly shook it but why does the veins in their hands popping out and.. I-it's starting to pale--wait, are they gripping it too hard?! If my ears didn't betrayed me think I heard something like a faint bonecrack sound.

Uh-oh.

Okay, this is seriously not good.

"I'm Sunghoon, nice to meet you too." They finally let go each other's hand after Sunghoon introduced himself.

"Yuna, you didn't told you have a new friend." Julius looked at me then back to Sunghoon giving him another smirk and honestly he look hot like that, I just noticed now. I was about to speak when Sunghoon suddenly hang his arm on my shoulder with a soft chuckle which surprised both me and Julius.

"She's just shy to tell you that she met a handsome guy here. Right, Yuna?" He said chuckling again and I looked at him in disbelief. What the--what is he talking about?

"Oh, I see you seem...close." Julius looked at Sunghoon's arm on my shoulder, he seem upset.

"We--" Sunghoonoon cut off my words.

"Yes we are. Closer than you think actually."Sunghoon intensely looked at me as he huskily said the last words before he playfully winked at me and Julius's eyes widen at his words.

Oh, that's hotter--wait what am I thinking? I mentally slapped myself before removing his arm on me and nervously laugh as I shifted my gaze to Julius.

"Um..ahehe..he's just joking. Please don't get it wrong." I waved a hand before giving a quick glare at Sunghoon making sure that Julius won't catch it. "How about you. I mean where are you going?" I changed the topic, smiling at him.

"I'm going to visit my Aunty's restaurant. I was going to text you about it because Aunt Nena really missed you. But it seems like you're busy." Julius glanced at Sunghoon and I quickly shook my head.

"No, i'm not. I can go." I slightly jump due to excitement, I missed Aunt Nena too honestly. It's been years since the last time I visited her. She's like a family to me. And just when i'm about to take a step to Julius side I felt a grip on my wrist and being pulled more closer to his side dropping off the excitement running in body. Oh man.

"Sorry but perhaps another time, Julius. Yuna here needs to rest and besides..." He looked at his wrist watch hand's never leaving mine like a police that wouldn't give his prisoner a chance to escape. "It's already late." He finished as he looked to an upset Julius again purposely lowing the tone of his voice so it wouldn't sound rude but hey, I know him, he can't fool me.

I really don't know what's wrong with these guys. I feel so bad for Julius, based on his face I could say that he had the wrong thoughts about me and Sunghoon. He thought we're something...what do they call? Ah..secretly dating and that's why he look upset.

He thought that i'm keeping secrets and doesn't trust him enough to tell that to him.

It's all wrong because We.are.not.dating.

"Oh, o-okay." Julius shifted his gaze to me "Next time, Yuna." 

"Yes, next time." I nodded and gave him an apologetic smile. We waved goodbyes at each other before he left.

"Hey! What's wrong with you?" I asked turning around to face him but only to be met by his broad back, walking away. "Yah! I'm asking you. Answer me." I ran to catch him up until we get into the bus and sat on the last row.

He didn't answer me instead getting his phone and earphone completely ignoring me like i'm just a ghost that he couldn't see. Ouch. I swear i'm on the verge to smack his head right now.

Inhaling and exhaling deeply to calm myself down, I pull the other earpiece away from his ear.

"What?!"

Bingo.

"What's wrong with you, Kim Sunghoon?" I narrowed my eyes at him and he rolled his eyes away, annoyed by me. Well, I'm more annoyed right now.

"Nothing, Eun Yuna" He murmured crossing his arms as he let himself sink on the seat, closing his eyes after voluming up the song he's listening through the earphone. "You know what, just listen to that song and be quiet. I'm tired to talk right now." He added and I chuckled in disbelief. Liar. He just said that as an excuse. I thought then looked at the other earpiece on my hand, I can hear the faint sound of the music and...it sounds nice.

I put it on and listen to it. Hmm, not bad. I didn't know he has a good taste in music. He also like acoustic songs. I can't help not to smile.

I looked at him for a good two minutes, studying every parts of his face but wait please don't get me wrong. I'm not a pervert, i'm just curious why such a good-looking man like him could be like this? Weird, pervert, sometimes caring and sometimes not. Sometimes fine but then suddenly became annoying.

But after those two minutes of staring at him, I started to feel sleepy, eyes getting heavy and cover my mouth by my hand as a yawn escaped from it.

I turn my head to the front looking at the old couple sitting ahead of us. I watched as the old grandpa held his wife's hand and smiled at her so dearly. The sight of them made me smile and lean back, enjoying how sweet they are to each other.

I wonder, is that how it looks like? How it feels like? To have someone who will stay by your side and cherish you until you're grey and old?

I closed my eyes as another yawn have escaped from me again. Just closing my eyes. I wasn't planning to sleep but my body fails me as i'm starting to drift to my dreamland. Before I could finally drift into my deep slumber I felt a hand caressed my face and placed my head on his shoulder letting me inhale that addicting perfume again.

"Sleep well, babe."
