One Day Before.
I arrive home after a stressful trial that I have been working on for almost a month. Today, I finally concluded it. As I walk in, I come across a scene that infuriates me - Junno pushing my daughter.
When I Met Him ✨
Ever since my partner passed away, I haven't been the same. He left me with our daughter. I have been drinking a lot during these months. One night at a bar, I caught a whiff of a pheromone that caught my attention. I then saw him sitting there, drinking his tequila. He looked at me and I returned the gaze. But I noticed he wasn't alone; he was talking to two alphas. His smile was so beautiful that it hypnotized me. I couldn't take my eyes off him, even for a minute. He noticed and approached me. I felt awkward talking to him, so I looked away. But when I realized it, he was already close to me, offering me a drink and giving me that beautiful smile.
"Hello, I'm Junno! Are you okay? I couldn't help but notice that you were constantly looking at me. Would you like to go out with me?"
Well, dear, I have a price. I can do anything for you. I can drive him crazy if you want!
I immediately noticed what he was implying. Too bad, his scent reveals he's an omega, and he's offering himself and his services.
"So, Junno, I'm not that kind of man you're looking for, but I really liked you. How about this? We go out together for a drink and see how it goes. Don't you agree?"

Seeing him up close made me want to know him even more. With his dark hair, blue eyes, and fair skin, he reminds me of my deceased wife. But he is beautiful in his own way, and he has a sweet and gentle demeanor. His scent has a light woody fragrance.
The next day, I dialed the number he gave me, hoping he would answer. But it went to voicemail. After my wife died giving birth to our daughter, my life has been filled with terrible days. To try and escape some of that pain, I decided to give this omega a chance.
After sentencing a young man who murdered his parents to life imprisonment for a brutal crime, which was clearly premeditated, my name was all over the news. I go to the rooftop of my office building, light a cigarette, and smoke while thinking about this omega. Why can't I get him out of my head?
Lost in thought, I receive a call. It's an unknown number. I consider hanging up, thinking it might be a prank call, but the number calls again. This time, I answer, intending to give a piece of my mind to the person attempting to play a trick on me.
📲📲 Call.
"Hello? I just wanted to let you know that I'm hanging up since you keep calling me, and I don't know your number!"
"Hmm! Do you really have the courage to hang up? Aren't you even curious to know who's calling you?"
"I'm sorry for not calling earlier. I don't know if you remember me, but I'm the guy from the club. Remember? I gave you my number. My name is Junno!"
After that call, I met with Jhonatan several times. We had many nights together. And on one of those nights, I ask Junno to be mine.
Junno, I know it's still early, but as you know, I lost my partner. He left me with a young daughter. Would you come and live with us? Will you marry me?
"I promise you will never have to work a day in your life. I have enough money to provide for all your needs. All you have to do is be my husband. So, will you marry me?"
Junno accepting makes me so happy. On our wedding day, I ask him why he didn't invite his family. He tells me they live in Korea, and their relationship is not very good. I remain silent and understanding.
Eight years have passed and my daughter is growing up calling him mother, but I don't see any kind of love from him towards my daughter. To make matters worse, he is not on good terms with my mother, nor with my father, let alone with my siblings. Two weeks ago, my brother was engaged to an Alpha who is a close family friend, but a rumor surfaced that Junno seduced him, which is why he left my brother.
That's why I hate him so much. I come home and see Junno pushing my daughter, causing her to fall against the wall and cry a lot. I no longer see anything and grab him by the wrist, making it clear that if he continues to mistreat my daughter, I will kick him out of this house!

"Don't be so dramatic, my love. I am just teaching this girl. She talked back to me, so I treated her this way, but I love her, my love, you know it!"
"Love, my mother is very sick, you know. I want to visit her in Korea, so is it possible for me to go for four days? I'll be back on Saturday."
"That's fine! But I won't be able to pick you up on Saturday. I'll send the driver to get you."

I know that Junno is coming home today, so I arrive and go straight to our room. When I enter the room, I see him sleeping. I approach his face and look at him, it's as if he's a different person. I sit in the armchair and admire him. He wakes up and is startled by me. I stand up and go to him, saying,

"I'm wondering, why are you so cold towards our daughter? Why didn't you answer my calls? You arrived and didn't let me know, and now suddenly you're apologizing?"
All I want to do is remove the towel from his body. I go towards him, lay him down on the bed, and kiss him. He doesn't reject it like he has been. In the heat of the moment, I immobilize him and grasp his wrist, realizing that it must be hurting him.
I whisper in his ear, that if he treats our daughter the way he did last night, I will kick him out. I tell him to go downstairs, leaning against the hallway wall, thinking and touching my lips, reflecting,
"Why was this kiss so different? And why didn't he reject me like he has been lately? His scent seems different but is it still the same scent, or am I mistaken?"
"Why was he blushing? Were those moments of fear in his eyes, or am I mistaken?"
"Well, I don't want to think about that now! I go downstairs and see that everyone is already gathered at the dinner table."
"It's going to be a long night!"
