CHAPTER - 1

Sun has risen in the sky, a gentle swishing sound, like the rustling of leaves in the trees on a sunny morning. Footsteps can be heard from a distance, squirrels and other tiny animals ran away from the path on sensing someone.

The Sunlight streams over a beautiful girl. Blinded by sunlight and blue sky, she closed her eyes.

She opened her eyes and blinked as she raised her hand blocking the sun ray's, she smiled brightly emitting positive energy, carrying a jute basket in another hand. She hums a song while plucking the flowers.

🎶After the raining, the sun shines🎶

🎶It's spring now🎶

She placed a white flower behind her ears, She runs across the rose and other flowering shrubs while brushing her fingertips over them and the tree are well grown up with fresh fruits are hanging over.

She jumped and plucked the fruits.

🎶I am picking the fruits in the forest🎶

She took a bite and immersed herself in the flavor as a cool breeze touch her face brewing off the hairs on her face.

🎶So tempting here🎶

She set up the wood fire as she sat on the rock, placing a granite pan above the fire, it slowly started to heat up.

🎶I pick some woods to fire🎶

🎶I can smell the aroma🎶

🎶The beautiful view and taste of life🎶

She poured oil into the pan, then added cumin seeds along with tiny button mushrooms, sprinkled some salt and spices. She sings while stirring it to combine the flavors.

🎶It is deeply hidden in the mountain🎶

🎶When autumn comes🎶

She tastes a bit as she smiled widely.

🎶The leaves will become yellow first🎶

🎶Then I will make tea and enjoy the life🎶

She finished cooking the food and put them in a bowl and garnish it with coriander leaves and lemon.

Lisa brought the bowl in front of her and sniffs it which fills her nostrils with mesmerizing aroma, she started eating while looking around the forest.

Her eyes catch the sight of the rarest mushroom grown on the cliff not far away-orange-covered goose paste.

..."Amanita Caesarea!" The girl whispered....

She got up went to the cliff, She holds a branch for support while proceed on reaching the mushroom but accidentally fell off the cliff.

She screamed in horror.

Fortunately, someone came on time as he rescued her by holding her in one fell swoop, and the atmosphere between the two was extremely stunning. As the man carries the girl in his arms - one arm under her legs and the other supporting her back.

He was wearing a shirt with a bandana which seems like he came here for trekking, while his handsome face radiates under the sun as his face was stern with a cold expression on while sweat dripping on his face, the girl could not help but drool over him as she is mesmerized by his elegance.

She was holding his collar for a balance where his chest was visible, without thinking she poked his chest with her fingertip.

"What are you doing?" the man asked her coldly while gazing at her.

The girl's eyes widened in shock because of her own behavior.

He glared as he dropped her suddenly on the ground. She ended on the ground with a tump. She groaned in pain as she angrily got up.

"Why did you drop me suddenly!" asked the girl as she scowled at him.

"Why? you want me to hold you throughout the day!" He asked her raising his eyebrows.

She stood speechless, she furrowed her eyebrows while pouting.

"You almost cause your life just for the mushrooms?" asked the man, looking at her unbelievably. The girl nodded as she looked at the ground in embarrassment. The man went away.

"Here.." The girl looked up to see the man holding mushrooms, automatically she smiled at him.

He gave them all to her, still, he has a poker face on.

He turned to leave when

"Thank you," she said to him softly.

He hides his smile, then he nodded and went away. She staring at him until he was out of sight. She signed.

She carried her small basket back home, happily hopping to the house.

"Hello, Mimi aunty!! How was the food, I send you yesterday?" She asked a woman who passes by.

"Ah, Lisa.... It was very delicious... Kiddo. I like it very much, thank you-" someone interrupts her.

"LALISA MANOBAN!" Someone yelled from distance.

Lisa was shocked to see her sister standing furiously while pointing out the rolling bin towards her. She completely forgot about the time, now she is blown up for sure.
