pottery & memory

Writer's POV:

Jungkook smiled breaking the hug and walked back to the table and lit a candle placing it on the cake with his eyes reflecting on the flame. They smiled while blowing the candle together and cut a small piece, feeding each other. Finally, they walked back to the bedroom with fingers interlocked with a warm smile lingering on their little red swollen lips. They closed their eyes while tangling their feet together as warmth fill their heart too and sighed with content.

The very next morning, when Jungkook feels the cold air brushing his waist instead of soft fingers. He furrowed his eyebrows and squinting his eyes as his hand falls on the other side of the bed where his dear husband should be present.

"Hm...hubby?" He whispered while rubbing his eyes with his other hand and yawns. There was no response which made Jungkook sit up straight and look at the clock and widening his eyes.

"Oh my!" Immediately he threw the duvet aside and the door was opened by Jimin holding a tray carefully.

"Good Morning, Angel. " Jimin smiled while closing the door behind him and walks towards the confused Jungkook.

"Here, be careful, it's hot. " Jimin gave a mug of coffee to Jungkook. Jungkook held the cup with confusion.

"It's past 9 am. " Jungkook whispered while blowing on the warm coffee. Jimin smiled understanding the words.

"Today I took a day off. I deserve a holiday too. Just because I'm CEO doesn't mean I have to work every day. " Jimin replied while tucking Jungkook's hair aside which was disturbing to see the angel's face without restraints.

"Yeah, for the past months. You have worked so hard. I was getting worried about your health,"

"No wonder, packing extra lunch with such lovely encouraging words which made me work harder and finish everything in advance. " Jimin chuckled when Jungkook turned red while nibbling on his lips as he turned his head another side.

"I have them with me," Jimin continued opening the drawer of the table.

"Why? You don't need them," Jungkook looks at Jimin.

"Anything given by you is very important to me," Jimin replied honestly and took out a small box.  Jungkook's cheek colored deeper as he fiddles with the duvet.

...—Self-belief and hard work will always lead you to success....

"Don't embarrass me..." Jungkook whispered as he held the chits refraining Jimin from further reading.

"But, I'm proud here," Jimin spoke with a soft voice and nuzzled their nose while smiling, placing a soft kiss on the nose.

Jungkook's ears turned ruddy matching with his cheeks. Jimin placed a warm kiss on his forehead.

"Freshen up, we are going out. " Jimin informs as he got up. Jungkook blinks a few times and nods his head.

Jungkook continued savoring the coffee, looking at Jimin fumbling through the wardrobe. He chuckles softly and keeps the mug on the table. He walks towards Jimin, holding a yellow shirt.

"Move aside," Jungkook pushed Jimin softly and took the matters in his hand. Jimin sneaks his arms around Jungkook's waist while keeping his chin on the right shoulder.

"Where are we going?" Jungkook asked scanning the wardrobe with his eyes. "It's a surprise," Jimin replied while placing a kiss on the sensitive neck.

"Then wear a clown outfit. " Jungkook told slapping Jimin's playful hands gliding over his torso sensually.

"If that makes you happy, I'll wear it. " Jimin replied nonchalantly and bit Jungkook's collar, trying to push it aside as it's bothering him from kissing his angel.

Jungkook blushes while smiling and looks through Jimin's shirt which will be neutral for anywhere they are going.

"Pearl..." Jimin whispered with a husky voice pulling Jungkook even closer to him.

"Pearl?" Jungkook asked turning his head to look at Jimin nodding his head like a child.

"You are my Pearl. " Jimin said placing his cheek against Jungkook's cheek and clinging to him.

"Pearl because you are unique and beautiful the way you are. In many ancient societies, pearls symbolized the moon, I wanted to call you my moon. Then, pearls came to my mind as they look like a full moon. I don't know what I'm blabbering." Jimin embraced him tightly.

Jungkook chuckled trying to break free need to get a nice shirt. "Aren't we getting late?" Jungkook asked when Jimin stood rooted in his place, doesn't want to move anywhere.

"Yeah, we sure are, getting late. " Jimin reluctantly left Jungkook's waist and steps back, giving space for his Pearl to complete the task.

...💮🌸💮...

"Where are we going?" Jungkook asked turning his head to Jimin who is driving the car with one hand and another hand holding the gear with Jungkook's hand in between.

Jimin smiled and continued driving without glancing at the puppy's face. He knows he will end up spilling everything and the surprise will go for a toss. Jungkook huffs looking out of the window with a cute pout.

"I demand the answer since today is my birthday. " Jungkook tries again looking at Jimin.

"Patience Pearl, you will get the answer. " Jimin replied and they were almost at the destination. He smiled parking his car in front of a workshop.

"We are here," Jimin said removing his seatbelt and quickly stepping out of the car, and opening the door for Jungkook.

"Aish, I'm not so fragile. " Jungkook steps out of the car.

"But, today is your birthday and you must be treated like a prince. " Jimin replied with a cheeky smile while Jungkook shook his head having a sweet smile.

"After you Pearl. " Jimin said bowing his head respectfully while showing the path to Jungkook.

The place was decorated with different artifacts made from clay, there is a huge desk filled with cups, plates, vases of different colors, shapes, and sizes.

"Is this what I'm thinking of. " Jungkook asked while walking inside the workshop. Jimin just smiled and look at curious Jungkook's eyes glittering with fascination.

"This cup is so cute. " Jungkook held a small teacup and looks back at the whipped smiling Jimin who nods his head having his eyes only at his pearl.

"Truly so cute..." Jimin spoke dreamily while being in a daze.

"Excuse me, " He snaps back when someone walked past him asking him to move aside. Jungkook chuckles keeping the cup back in its place and looks around at different ceramic plates with beautiful designs on them.

Jimin was trailing behind him and his eyes focused on Jungkook's expression. "What do you think about this?" Jungkook asked showing two cups which are white having a beautiful pattern in ocean blue color.

"They are nice. " Jimin replied holding the cup in Jungkook's hand.

"Can we..."

"Of course," Jimin said taking those cups and walking towards the counter to buy them.

"I'm the luckiest. " Jungkook smiled while continued looking at the material. He can't believe, Jimin understood his wish even before he could mutter.

"Let's learn pottery. " Jimin said as soon as he stood next to him.

"Pottery?" Jungkook asked with confusion.

"I wanted to learn it. But, didn't get time for it. " Jungkook continued talking with himself.

"I know," Jimin answered and immediately bit his tongue.

"You knew?" Jungkook raised his eyebrow while crossing his arms.

"Well, I know everything related to you. When I saw, how you were smiling while looking at those things. " Jimin quickly explains with his hands too.

"Oh, ok!" Jungkook smiled dismissing the thought and held Jimin's arm dragging him to the room where everyone was learning pottery.

They both stood next to each other while looking at the man teaching the technique of pottery. He was damping water on the clay, smoothing the surface while giving it a shape, molding it to something beautiful.

Just like them, many couples came to learn pottery, smiling ear to ear and sometimes blushing when the other one whispers something in their ears.

"Be quiet," Jungkook whispered pinching Jimin's arm who was trying to flirt with him. Jungkook's eyes focusing on the clay which is shaping into a bowl now. Jimin whines softly rubbing his arm.

"What kind of days have come, Husband has to compete with a vase to get Pearl's attention. " Jimin's whines only for Jungkook to hear who chuckles shaking his head.

"Well...at night all my attention is only at you right?" Jungkook mumbles underneath his breath while pointing at the collar of the shirt where yesterday's sin is hidden.

Jimin might be possessive but he isn't someone who loves showcasing Jungkook as if he owns him by showing the hickeys. He prefers being the only one to see and create more. Don't want other people to imagine anything while seeing it.

"Will I be able to get more attention tonight?" Jimin whispers again while blocking his voice with his hand.

"Mm...probably," Jungkook acts as if he is debating within himself although he wants to laugh loudly and coo at his husband who was looking at him with cute puppy eyes.

"And we'll keep this in the furnace..." They turn their eyes at the pot maker who held the bowl delicately.

"I didn't see the last step. " Jungkook whines glaring at his husband.

"Hey, I know that. I watched a video and I think I can do it without any issues. I needed to make sure to learn everything is—" Jimin's tongue slipped everything. He gulps and laughs awkwardly when Jungkook looks at him with questioning eyes.

"That's why I felt som—"

"Let's go," Jimin pushed Jungkook to take a seat in front of the pottery wheel and sat next to him.

"I'm not done with you," Jungkook narrowed his eyes wishing to look very angry. But only if he knew, he was looking very cute that it took every effort in Jimin not to tackle him on the floor and cuddle his pearl.

"My beautiful Pearl. I don't want you to be done with me anyway. I'm forever yours..." Jimin leans closer to Jungkook's face and whispers. Jungkook pushed him while smiling wide, having rosy cheeks.

"Sh-shut up, we have work now. " Jungkook looks at the clay placed in front of them. He dabs water over his palm and looks at Jimin already trying to shape the clay.

"You are so fast," Jungkook pouts and placed his palms on the clay as the wheel rotates.

"Well, I'm fast in something else too..." Jimin replied molding the clay while smirking at Jungkook.

"Shameless!" Jungkook whispers shout trying to hide his blushing cheeks.

"Only for you,"

Jungkook giggles concentrating on the earthware he is trying to create with a lot of effort. He turns to Jimin and he wasn't present here.

"Where did—"

"Ouch my nose," Jimin was behind him and Jungkook leans back without knowing and his head hits Jimin's nose.

"I'm sorry," Jungkook panics and turns around quickly. He held Jimin's cheek inspecting the nose.

"Kiss it better," Jimin pouts while pointing at his lips.

"Wasn't it nose?"

"It should have been my lips, just my nose thought to nuzzle your hair. "  Jimin replied sulking in his place. Jungkook glanced around and saw everyone is busy in creation. He places a quick peck on the nose and a soft kiss on the lips.

"Happy?"

"Yeah, I'm 100% charged. I can do anything now. " Jimin replied flexing his arms.

Jungkook started laughing abruptly while throwing his head at Jimin's shoulder to muffle it.

"What happened?" Jimin asked with confusion. Jungkook somehow held his laugh and showed his hand stained with the clay and points at Jimin's cheeks.

Jimin understood the point and looks at Jungkook, having tears in his eyes for so much laughing. He started making cute poses like pouting and blinking his eyes. Jungkook was having trouble breathing and took his kerchief from his pocket.

"Pabo..." Jungkook whispered while wiping Jimin's cheek.
