Jimin's POV:

I gulp my nervousness and look at my watch. It's 11:50 am. I did reach before 12 but I'm quite late than my usual timing. I parked my car in the garage. I dropped my in-laws at their home safely. I don't know how he will react? Will he be upset or angry or all?

Today the door was not opened as usual it would. I rang the bell a few times waiting patiently. I think Angel might be sleeping now. I'm disturbing his sleep. I should have got spare keys with me. Next time, I'll keep it with me.

The door was opened with my sleepy Angel. He looks so cute wearing a pale green shirt. He rubs his eyes and blinks a few times. He looks at me with his eyes slightly widening, I have a nervous smile.

He lunged in my arms, hugging me. I embraced him, holding his waist and pulling him off the ground, walking carefully inside the house with Jungkook nuzzling his face on my neck and one of his legs wrapped over my torso and hugging my shoulders tightly.

"Where were you?" He whispered in my ear still hugging me tightly.

I dropped the bag on the side of the sofa and sat carefully on the sofa while caressing his neck.

"I had important work, I'm sorry I couldn't inform you beforehand. " I whispered, kissing his hair. He shook his head, still buried in my neck.

"Angel?" I rub his back cautiously and look at my watch. It's midnight and I smiled, hugging his waist.

"Happy Birthday to you~

happy birthday dear, Angel. Happy birthday to you. " I sang with a bright smile.

He slowly moves his head away from my neck and looks into my eyes. His eyes were holding vulnerability and I could see, something is troubling him. I'll ask him later. For now, I held his hand and placed a soft kiss on his knuckles.

"Happy Birthday, my Angel, " I kissed his forehead, cheek and nuzzled our nose. He smiled warmly and held my shoulders with his cheeks turning rest. "Thank you, Hubby, " he whispered smiling shyly.

"Ah, I forgot. " I fumbled inside my bag and pecking his curious eyes. I took a royal blue box, wrapped with an aqua-colored ribbon.

I gave the box to him. "Open it, Angel. " I said when he held the box, looking at me with confusion.

He nods his head, unties the ribbon with his fingers, where our wedding ring is shining. He opens it and looks at me. I know what he will say,

"This is so expensive, why did you buy this? You being with me till the end of my life is the best gift. I don't want anything else. " He held my hand while saying. Yup, I expected this answer.

"But, I want to give you everything I can. Shower you with all the love. " I said taking the diamond bracelet. It's simple yet stunning; just like my angel.

I caress the bracelet adorning his wrist and kissed his wrist.

"I love you, my angel"

Even if I say it every second. I don't feel those words are enough to describe his importance in my life.

"I love you too and more," He smiled and placed a peck on my lips.

"I love you my everything," I whispered and held his nape and leaned closer delicately brushing my cheek on his cheek, placing a soft kiss on his ear, then to his cheek and sensually like his jaw.

I missed him, I missed him so much. I nuzzle our nose and saw his hooded eyes and he leans forward kissing my lips. Sucking on his lips as we tilt our heads and he glides his hand from my shoulder to neck, tangling his fingers with my hair and brush softly. I push my tongue inside when parts his lips to breathe. I pull back and kissed again, this time with more passion, making him moan and tug my hair. Today is his day, things shouldn't escalate so fast.

"I'll go and freshen up, first." whispering over his lips and he nods his head, giving me the cutest smile. "I will reheat the food" He stood up giving me space and walked towards the kitchen. 

After the shower, I quickly changed to a comfortable tee and walked downstairs. I should have eaten outside. But, what I do I have gotten so used to eat food made by him, which I will not be satisfied eating restaurant food. I felt the lights dim in the dining room.

"Jungkook?" I can't see him anywhere. Where did he go? Is he in the garden? I look at the time 12:30. During this time in the garden? I felt someone behind him and before I could turn around, I felt palms blinding my eyes. I smiled when the fragrance of my beloved brushed through my nose.

"Angel! " I said removing the hands from my eyes and kissing them. He chuckled interlocking our fingers.

He sure is my angel.

"I have a surprise for you," he said pulling me towards the guest room. I was confused,

"What surprise?"

"Define surprise for me," he asked me instead and leading me towards the guest room.

"Surprise...an unexpected or astonishing event, fact, etc."

He looks at me, blinking few times. "Well..." He opened the door then I understood that he was trying to buy time.

I blink few times at the view. Lights illuminating the space with delicious food, I'm sure it's cooked by him by the fragrance kept on a table covered with satin cloth. I look back at Jungkook, having a cute smile.

"Happy 8 months anniversary, Hubby.  " He smiled and hugged me tightly keeping his head on my shoulder.

I was thinking about his birthday that I forgot about this. What the--I wanted to be a different husband for him, not forgetting these types of important days. Eventually, I became the same. I forgot about this.

I caressed his hair while smiling. It has been 8 months since my angel came into my life. I don't think, thanking the stars will be enough to say how thankful I am to have him with me.

"Same to you, angel. " I cup his face caressing his cheek. Moreover, he planned a surprise for us.

"My lovely angel," I nuzzle our noses. He giggles in return and held my hand.

"Let's eat dinner," I smiled guiding me inside the tent.

"You didn't eat yet?" I asked seeing two plates on the table. He shook his head, sitting next to me while serving me.

"Why?" I asked taking the spoon from him and served for him too.

"I was waiting for you," he replied taking chopsticks.

I felt guilty eating myself. Should I tell him that I went to meet his parents for his birthday plan? Then everything will be spoiled. I'll explain to him after the surprise.

"I'm sorry," I whispered holding the tteokbokki and placed it in front of his lips.

"I understand, you might be having lots of work. I'll always wait for you. " He replied taking a bite from it and smiled warmly. 

"You are my home, I'll surely be back no matter how late it might be. " I said wiping the sauce from the corner of his lips. He blushed shyly looking at his food and nodded.

"Did you draw the interior of the shop?" I asked chewing rice. He nods gulping water.

"Yeah, I tried my best to make it as clear and detailed as possible. I wrote few things on the side too. So, that it'll be easier for the engineer to compile it with no trouble. " he was explaining with the chopsticks in his hand.

"Show me later, I'll send it to the department. " I said taking kimchi from the bowl. He nodded his head and we continued eating dinner with peace between us.

He gave such a sweet surprise. I should do something in return too. Before I could get move, he stood up immediately.

"I'll be right back," he said walking out of the room. I walked out after he was out of my sight. I watch him going downstairs towards the kitchen.

I walked to my study room, opening the cabinet next to the door. I smiled looking at the guitar case. I took it out and placed it on the ground taking my guitar out of the bag and checked on the strings, they didn't rust and are in good condition.

It's an acoustic guitar, where it wood used is Spruce it's black Yamaha and used silver nylon strings. I love my guitar.

I used to play guitar during my college times. It was a great escape for me. Although, I love playing drums.

I held the guitar and tuned the strings as E, A, D, G, B, and E, from lowest (low E2) to highest (high E4) as it has 6 strings. It's the standard tuning. I tried checking it once. It sounded fine to me. I hope Jungkook will like it.

I walked back to the room and Jungkook was sitting on the sofa, resting his chin on his palm and waiting for me, while all the plates were out of sight and a chocolate cake was placed in the center of the table.

"Where did--" he paused when his eyes glide on my right hand holding the guitar.

"Well, since it's such a beautiful day or I must say night. I thought to play some music. " I scratched my neck nervously and pulled a chair from the side, sitting on it while keeping the guitar on my lap.

"I hope you'll like it," I whispered when I didn't get any response from him rather beautiful doe-eyes sparkling with happiness are encouraging me. I gulp and placed my fingers on the string.

I look back in his eyes which always take my breath away. My heart always beats so fast.

He stood up from his place walking towards me as I stopped playing and look at him. His eyes were filled with tears. Why is he crying?

He sang with melody and held my hand tightly. When tears shimmering on his cheeks. He inhaled sharply as I sat there speechless. It took me a long time to write the song. He just sang a stanza with no problem, how much talent do you hold my angel.

"Hey," I wiped his tears keeping the guitar on the side pulling him in my embrace. He hides his face on my neck, hugging me tightly.

"Why do you fear when I also promised the same. You are one and only I love, my beloved angel. "
