chapter 05

when aris arrived her brother and father were waiting for her, and she was 30 minutes late, she didn't really cared that they waited for her for that long, aris just walk in and apologize for being late and sat on her chair. while she sat quietly, her brother and father was surprised because she didn't even look interested in them or joining them to eat breakfast. when they started eating, the archduke asked aris a question.

archduke: did something happen yesterday?

aris: nothing happened, your grace.

the archduke and kite was left speechless by what aris replied because aris always called the archduke "father" but she just called him "your grace". then kite asked aris

kite: your maid said you were acting strange yesterday, what happened?

aris: i never knew that my maids need to report what I've been doing yesterday *angry* and as i said, nothing happened.

kite: how rude of you to talk to me like that!

aris: i was just answering your question, whats wrong with that?

kite: you---

archduke: both of you, stop! i asked you guys here to eat with me not to fight!

aris:im done eating, now will you excuse me *angry*

kite: hey show some manners!

aris just walk out of the room and ignored her brother.

aris then continued to find some clues to find where those people from her dream were. but she was forgetting something important that is about to happen in her father's birthday

aris: i still cant find any clues, mom only mentioned them once but she never told me about their location or anything. i can just ask johan if im going to have that dream again but how am i suppose to be so sure, they might not show up in my dream this night. ughhhh this is making me crazy *annoyed* and I'm still so curious why johan mentioned my mother.

aris spend all day in her room reading her mother's books or anything that she might get a clue to find those people she dreamed of. but she never found any.

aris: im so tired *sigh* .i need to wake up early tomorrow since it's that old geezer's birthday. huh...wait it's his birthday tomorrow?!? didn't that bitch came during that old geezer's birthday!?!? ughh how can i forget that bitch *annoyed*

that bitch made my life more miserable when she came.

morning came and the maids and chef's were busy preparing the food and everything that is needed, while aris...she was busy playing with her sword. aris was actually good at martial arts, specially in fencing since it was her favorite hobby since young despite being a girl. her brother came to check her in her room but she wasn't there. kite called one of her maids to asked where aris was.

kite: where is aris?

maid: im sorry to tell you, young master, but we dont know where her lady went, earlier when we went to wake her lady up, she wasn't in her room already.

kite: what?!?

maid: umm i might know where she is but im not really sure young master.

kite: tell me.

maid: my lady might be practicing fencing right now, but she never does that if it's his Excellency's birthday, since all i know if it's his Excellency's birthday she always gets ready early and help get things ready for his Excellency's birthday. but when we looked for her in the kitchen or in the ballroom she wasn't there young master.

kite: ...

kite then goes to the training area, there she found aris practicing,she was looking haggard and keep on slapping herself.

kite's thoughts: is she crazy?, she's acting all weird

then kite called aris.

kite: aris---

aris replied without looking: what do you want!! *angry*

kite: hey show some manners to your brother

aris then looked back and saw her brother

aris: oh... i didn't know it was you

kite: are you not going to apologize? *angry*

aris: i said i didn't know it was you, obviously i did not do anything wrong

kite: i didn't know you were like this
