The bar lady's story

I hid in the shadows and gathered some information about the Princess.

A bar lady told me a story that changed my path in life forever. What she heard about the Princess was that

"Her father was a great emperor who had tons of friends from the neighbouring countries, he was wealthy and prosperous.the people liked him a lot too. But his very own, so called brother stole his kingdom and the king begged his friends to help him. They hid the king from the murderous badtard who was looking for bloodshed and while in one of his friends kingdom he fell in love with a queen who was to be married to king martin, his friend but they were so much in love that they secretly married and later returned to their kingdom after his brothers death which was executed by his beloved friend king martin . But when he got to know that his friend had betrayed him and married the queen, a huge battle took place. every one abandoned the king after his defeat . Trade and commerce declined greatly and the people grew hungry and tired but they were still happy to be his subjects for the king was a nobel person who gave every last grain in the palace for the citizens and starved with them. When the monarch of the other country came for war he had no choice but to surrender. The people belong to King David Lucas now and this land is a part of great davidian empire. Though he lost everything. there was one good news, his wife was pregnant and soon gave birth to a beautiful girl child. He was very proud and the people were kind to him as he was their previous king. it was a merry occasion but on her 10th birthday where everyone was invited something happened, the people who had been there say that the babies aunt was a witch and to avenge her husband's death she scared the little Princess's face with a knife and bespoke a curse. No one has ever seen the little one after that incident, she rarely comes out and even if she does we wouldn't even recognise her perhaps"

" What was the curse " I ask and she says " I do not know , nobody knows even the king nor the people except the Princess, " "so what happened next" I ask curiously.

" The father tried very hard and found a sage who told him that unless she stays hidden from the world her curse might activate. the sage couldn't find a way to break it and is still searching for something, though I do not know what. ".

I thank the lady and just when I'm about to get up an old guy sitting beside me says. " The witch cursed her but she was the Princess's aunt after all and so she told her a way. when you learn to accept being alone, only then the curse can be broken. But it must be hard to do that task. I guess it depends on what curse was cast on her ".

" Who are you? How do you know that, which no one knows" I demand.

" I'm the sage boy" he says simply and gets up to wear his coat.

"Wait, I have so many questions" I stop him so he replies" I'll meet you soon enough , don't worry just take care of her"

I nod and thank him leaving the bar, I head over to the temple and ponder for days about her, no matter how much i try I couldn't forget her, so I came to a decision". I pause.

" And then sir , so what was the decision" the lad asks. I shake my head and get up.

" I have to take off now lad come back in a week" I tell him grimly . He nods , shakes my hand and we part ways yet again.
