second thoughts

Emma smiled as she watched John eat his food.He looked up at her."why are you staring?" he asked the girl sitting across from him. it took a second for the question to get to her. she blinked for a second then responded. "oh sorry it's just that your so cute I can't help but stare" she said flirting with him a little. John looked away blushing. then he quickly finished his food. when he realized Emma was already done."that was quick" he said."oh um I just eat fast" Emma responded as she got up from the table. John sat there thinking about the events that happened yesterday and shivered.how could he kill someone like that.He quickly shook himself out of his deep thoughts and ran up to Emma. "why did it take you so long to get up?" she asked her emerald green eyes looked straight into his ocean blue eyes.He struggled to answer. it was like she was staring into his soul."um um I was thinking" he said after a few seconds of silence."were you having second thoughts about me?" she asked sounding a little hurt."n-no I wasn't...i...I was thinking if killing him was the right choice" he said looking down unable to look Emma in the eyes Emma stood there for a second then grabbed his chin making him look at her."honey he hurt you...so that was just pay back...who cares if it was right or not" she said looking at him."what if someone finds out" he said consurned"no one will find out anyways people go missing every day and no one pays attention so who cares if a few people die they deserve it anyways" she said. Emma always had twisted morales what she said may be normal to her but to John he was very freaked out by what she said. he stood there bewildered by the fact she was that messed up scared him to the point of not being able to even think of how to respond he just simply nodded and said."Ok..." Emma stood there for a second then sighed grabbing his arm pulling him into a hug* "everything is going to be ok John. won't let anyone hurt you" she said hugging him tightly. John stood there not knowing what to do he sighed and hugging back he knew she cared but he wished it didn't involve killing..but he couldn't do anything about it. he looked at the girl who was hugging him wondering how she even got this way.Why was she like this who or what convinced her that killing was the answer when it wasn't.It never was and and it never will be at least not for him. maybe one day she will tell him what she went through to to think like that. Emma stopped hugging him and looked at him ans smiled "I love you" Emma said. John looked at her for a moment then said."I love you too"
