Episode 13

Helena opened her eyes, it was pitch black.  A pair of fluorescent green eyes sparkled in hers, a long nailed hand guided down her face.  ‘So you are finally awake my sweet?’

‘Where am I?’

‘In my house my sweet.’

‘Where’s that?’

‘By club Exodus.’

‘So I never left?’

‘No.  None of you did.’

‘So am I alive?’

‘Yes. But only you.’

‘Why? Where are my friends?’

He leaned forward whispering into her ear.  ‘Dead!’

Her lip began to tremble.

He looked at her, she looked at him nervously.  ‘Why am I not dead?’

‘Zep thought you’d enjoy my company.  I’ve enjoyed yours immensely.’

‘So you going to kill me now?’

He laughed, looking at her.  ‘Zep already did that.’

‘But you said.’

‘He half killed you my sweet just enough to keep you alive for me.  He turned you like him. He took your blood.’

‘But.’

‘You’re a demon babe.’

‘Oh.’

‘But, I could always turn you into a vampire.  I do quite fancy you.’ He said guiding his nail down her body.  ‘I haven’t fed for a few days there’s been nothing fresh you know what I mean?’  He glared into her fearful eyes.  ‘So what do you say Red?’

She looked at him nervously.  He leaned forward piercing his sharpened incisors through her flesh. Her nails dug into his flesh as she screamed in silence.  His incisors crunched thorough her bones his nails into her ******.  Blood seeping down her neck, her eyes rolling back as he pulled himself on top of her.  She fell faint as he continued kissing her neck draining her.

He moved away placing his lips on hers kissing her hungrily, his incisors piecing through her lips  as he kissed her harder and harder, the blood dripping off her chin.

He pulled away, her eyes rolling back into position.

‘Take my blood.’

‘What?’

‘Take my blood.’

‘I can’t.’

‘Please let us bond together.’

He placed his hand on the back of her head forcing her to take his blood.  Her incisors priced through his flesh as she fed off him.

He laid her down slipping inside her making love to her.  He pulled his arm away from her mouth placing his lips on hers kissing her ungrilly blood slipping down her faces.

He pulled away looking at her, guiding his hand down her face.  ‘I know he said to do what I wanted with you, but I am not going to kill you.  I can’t.’

He placed his lips back on hers kissing her.

He moved away lying besides her as she slowly closed her eyes.

Reficul pulled away from Lucinda.  ‘I’m all demon Luc.  Are you sure that you can handle me?’

‘Yes.’

He smiled returning to his human form.  ‘Come with me.  Bring our child into this world together.’

‘What?’ she said confused.

‘I’ve planted my love inside you.  Don’t freak, but it has a little demon in it too.  It’s a gift from me to our offspring.’

Footsteps echoed in the distance, becoming clearer as they got closer.  Reficul looked at Lucinda.  ‘Are you coming Luc?’

‘Yes.  I want to be with you, I don’t want to be here anymore.  I don’t want to be in this place without you.’

He pulled them both to their feet and ran.

Lucinda’s hand slipped from his as the city people pulled her away. He turned back looking at her.  ‘Luc!’

‘Go.’

‘No.’

‘Go.  Go without me.  I’ll be okay.’

‘N..’ he began as a shot was fired.  The bullet went through into his heart.

‘Reficul!’  She screamed.  Trying to set herself free from the cities people.

‘The demon is dead!’

‘NO!’ she screamed, tears rolling down her face.

Alena’s eyes shot open.  The light seeped through the tattered curtains. Exodus’s ice blue eyes stared into her dilated ones. ‘What’s wrong?’

‘He was his human form when he died.’

‘Are you sure?’

‘Yes.  Mom was coming here with him.  He told her that I was inside her.  They shot him as they tried to leave. Mom was in pieces.’

‘I’m so sorry Alena.’  He said placing his arm around her.

‘He gave me a gift too.’

‘What?’

She looked at him.  ‘Nothing.’

‘Come on Al.  You can tell me.’

‘I’m like you.’

‘What?’

‘A demon. It was a gift to me from him.’

‘Did your mother have any other children?’

‘No.  I was the only one.’

‘So you’re a demon.  I knew that already, that’s why you’re special Al. but this changes everything.’

‘How?’

‘You can pull in the punters.  You have no need to kill, just welcome. What you say?’

‘No!’

He placed his hand on her face.  ‘Please Al.  You are part of me now, all I need is for you to meet and greet.  The guys will do the rest.’

‘I..’

‘Just say yes.’

‘Okay.’ She sighed defeated.

He looked at her.

‘Yes. I’ll do it okay!’

He smiled.  Leaning forward placing his lips on hers kissing her hungrily.
